Secure and clean
I was worried about getting my code in time for my moving crew to start tomorrow. I had tried getting through to customer service and throughout the week and was having trouble connecting with them. I stopped up and talked to Alice who completely put my mind at ease. She answered all of the questions I had (as a public storage newbie). I think she could sense my stress, because Alice offered to call me in the morning to make sure I had received my code. If I haven't, she said she would personally get the code for me. Thank you to Alice for going above and beyond to take some of the stresses of moving away.

Snow removal is a disaster at this place. They pile the snow up at the gates, so the gates have to be open through the winter. This past winter, a ton of our stuff was destroyed by water because they push snow up against the units. This includes getting into plastic bins that are 3-4 inches tall. The roads through the buildings are extremely dirty. There was a fire this past winter in one of the buildings. Clean-up took a long time and there was trash everywhere, plus having to navigate around dumpsters. No mirrors on blind corners. I asked if they would remove snow in the winter and was told it was our responsibility. Several units had snow piled up higher than the doors and were inaccessible. Suggest taking your money somewhere else where your stuff won't get destroyed due to the negligence of the ownership.
Love the staff! Very organized and helpful. The office and space is clean. And would definitely recommend this location
Water leaks. Had a fire in a unit and almost lost my life from the bad fumes. I told them about the water leaks and they didn't do anything for me. They didn't even ask if I wanted another spot. They don't care about the people that pay their bills.
I rented a locker last night online. Today I went to start moving items in. The locker I just rented was inaccessible due to snow (there has been a sufficient number of days since it snowed for adequate snow removal). The attendant on site handed me a plastic shovel and said I'd have to take care of it.
So all in all my experience amounted to 1 hr of wasted time and $30 out of my pocket (non-refundable processing fee) to encounter horrible customer service and no actual service provided.

UNETHICAL billing in my opinion. The move in month is pro-rated, but the move out month is not. I'm sure that this is probably in the contract, but is unethical. Both of my move in dates were middle of the month. But when I moved out on the 2nd of the month, I paid for the entire month without any use.
I'm not sure if my review got deleted but I can't find it to edit. I've had a horrible experience with this place. Bad infrastructure causing excessive icing that has caused the door to seal shut, then prevented it from closing properly after ice picking it open, so now there's a red manager lock on it. The wall is still broken and my neighbor's items are pushing into my unit. The door basically unraveled.
There was supposed to be a work order put in to fix the multiple issues, but when I called to get an update a few days later I was told there was no work order. So everything is still broken. It's still usable if a manager is present, but I can't use it at my discretion.
Still not great. I don't think they have any customer service representatives. When I tried to contact someone I was given a message that there were none available. Usually I'd expect a wait time, but instead given no alternative options. Also, they don't respond to the message system in the app.

0 if possible. My lock broke, gave new one to staff to replace. Staff then proceeded to steal over 2 thousand dollars worth of items from my locker magically before they put the new lock on. Mandatory insurance company didn't cover a cent because I didn't have a receipt for items I've had for over 10 years. You should be ashamed of yourselves that you are even allowed to operate a business. A true disgrace. CHECK THE TAPES
Most of my stuff was stolen. Thin push away walls between units. Insurance, although paid every month, won't pay out the measly 3% that they owe me because I don't have receipts for everything that was taken.
Shirley went out of her way to find us a unit. She took extra time to show us where it was located and how to access the facility.

Couldn't of asked for a better experience! Shirley at the Foliage location and Tyler the district manager saved my moving day for my mistake of losing my unit keys!
