I am glad that I just read these reviews. I called the manager yesterday and told her upon move on my unit wreaked of urine. Now I know why based off another review. Also storage unit 8075 appeared to have had rodents entering due to food appearing to be dragged out under the unit! It was disgusting. She stated that she’d look into it very non chalantly.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE.
I rented an in door unit at the location in Warren MI. I had half my stuff in the unit. Yesterday I rented a uhaul to move in the remainder of my items. When I got there the key pad was not working. They said it had been down and they had put a ticket to get it fixed. I have called the corporate office twice. They have no key to get in the door. They have made no effort to get this fixed. The Uhaul has to be back by 2pm today. If I keep it until tomorrow I have to pay for an extra day, will have to take off work, pay someone to help me move since I have no one to help me tomorrow. This completely unacceptable.
THE MANAGER OR DISTRICT MANAGER HAS NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO CALL ME BACK TO GIVE ME AN UPDATE.

What were the chances of me running into Demonte and Tina again.. These were the same 2 that assisted in my downgrade the beginning of July and then the other day assisted with me getting the correct storage number on my app so the gate would open through my smartphone ..Thanks again guys you really are the true meaning of Good Customer Service

I was paying 165 $ less than a year ago for 10x10 price has gone up to close to 100$ less than a year later paying 245$ now, luckily uhaul is next door and gave me first month for free, also there’s no more dolly carts in the indoor building, if you wanna lose customers this is how you do it. Edit: came back and gave another star cause people in the office are cool, corporate I have other names for.
The staff is so friendly and helpful! Everything is clean. They know what they are doing. Prices are good as well.

This is not the place to store anything this experience was horrible rats and raccoons all in my belongings ive been in storage at this location since September i went to the storage one day and my unit was full of urine leaks from the ceiling bowel rips all in my couches my tv was full of moisture and they’ve done nothing they didnt even offer a discount or help to move or throw out anything this is just an unfortunate situation its no way anyone should have to go through this we as humans work hard and this was suppose to be a safe space atleast i thought i paid every month and to top it off they didnt offer any money off or back no empathy no nothing and this is just a problem for me two people along side me as well this im sure i wont get even half of what my belongings cost me if they even offer anything which sucks but my hope is that some type of action can be done to prevent this from HAPPENING TO THE NEXT PAYING CUSTOMER SOME TYPE OF CONSIDERATION AND COMPASSION SHOULD BE shown and thats where they lost me at if it was the owners belongings he wouldnt appreciate any of this if anyone has any tips or help on who else i can get help from outside of the insurance people who only offered 250 dollars please let me know God bless you all

This is the best public storage location in South East Michigan! Most simply because Tina is a rockstar!!!!!! Also the facility is gated & the indooer units are humidity controlled. Awesome experience .

Ok I guess but when I purchased my unit they first of all gave me the wrong unit and had no other availability of the price point that I needed when I got there next time I will not purchase online n just go old school n forget about downloading the app n renting my unit because it was all wrong but I'm stuck in it now for 3 months and they also told me one price online and then its clearly nothing close too my quote n what I pay now is quite a bit higher n I have one up from the smallest and we are looking at AT LEAST $60 MORE THEN THE PRICE THAT WAS QUOTED TOO ME LET'S JUST SAY I WASN'T VERY HAPPY N STILL NOT I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD REFUND ME THE DIFFERENCE THAT THEY QUOTED ME N REFUND THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS N I AM NEVER LATE PAYING M TOO GET TOO MY UNIT U HAVE TO GO N THIS BIG BUILDING THEY TOLD ME MY UNIT WOULD B A DRIVE UP BUT OH NO ALL DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD I WAZ GETTING AND MY UNIT IS ALL THE Way IN THE BACK OF THE BUILDING A TON OF TURNS N WE HAVE BIG ITEMS THAT GO IN THERE! The only issue that could be used adjusting and it is no reflection of the staff, the building that our unit is in did not have Public Storage on it. It made it slightly confusing to find the unit.

I’ve rented storage units at this location for several years and it’s been great. It couldn’t be easier to get to from the Royal Oak/Ferndale area, they keep the property clean and secure, and have taken care of the rare issue or two with adjacent units. I use the 10x20 and 20x20 units for seasonal classic car storage near home. Hats off to their manager Angela for her help.

It was a sweltering summers eve. The clouds parted and the sun rays exposed the lustrous establishment called public storage. I entered the building with hopes of procuring a space for my personal belongings. Unbeknownst of my arrival, the staff graciously greeted me with open arms. A man by the name of Nick Akkari was present. He provided verbal entertainment by sharing relatable stories as I waited for my space to be available. During the mix of all the friendly banter, Samantha (customer service associate from a different location) arrived to further assist on the matter at hand. With her expertise, she was able untangle the minor knot that withheld my plans to utilize there property's purposes. Following that Angela (another employee)entered the establishment and provided additional aid with exceptional service. They were able to leave me satiated with utter contentment. Furthermore I'd like to thank the staff for the superb service they provided. I definitely recommend a visit and usage of their business

At one point I was able to pay a smaller amount than the full price to stop the auction, when I asked to do this again and pay the balance at the end of the month like last time they said no can do. I even proved that this happened 6 months prior from my payments. All I can say is why? Needless to say my unit was auctioned. I have tried to call the regional manager several times and left messages for her to call back and she never did. The rent was raised several times and when I called about it the answer was that's what it is, too bad. I have looked at several reviews with same problem.

I reserved a unit, and due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to check in on time. I called a day ahead to reschedule, and after 8 attempts, I couldn’t even get someone on the phone. When I showed up the next day, they said no units of the size I requested were available. I wound up going elsewhere.
