Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions and was so helpful when explaining how renting a storage unit works, as this was my first time renting one. Ending my rental was as easy as could be. There were three people in the office that day and they were all so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

I am updating my review from the recent incident that happened at Shelby location 6/19/24. I am updating the rating also to a 5 star. I have been with public storage locations for 5-6 yrs and had good experiences with renting storage over the years, so I am not going to let the one incident be tan overall final reporting of my experience there so here is the follow up. The incident was a misunderstanding, i misinterpreted the situation that happened, i did report it and they did listen to my concerns and my concerns about the incident did get resolved to my satisfaction, so it is my plan to continue to rent at Shelby location and i am giving a thumbs up for individuals to consider renting from this location and any other public storage location, and I recommend them. management obviously have performed in a professional manner towards me and my concern there and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I would say the best measure of how a company treat their customers is how well they service a customer’s concerns and their despair of a complaint being reported, and they performed well in my opinion. We arrived at the facility 2.5 hours after they were supposed to be open and all we were trying to was get to our storage unit. Service here is HORRIBLE… if you want immediate service go somewhere else and save yourself the hassle

Great place love the location but. Nobody ever answers the phone manager doesn't seem to take his job seriously....very rude and not helpful.

I rented two outdoor storage units. Five months later both units went up to 200 dollars each. I do not understand such an extreme price hike. Looking for storage facilities to have class action lawsuits soon. See this more and more.

If you rent from this company, then be prepared for them to constantly increase your rates. I rented a 10x20 unit and was originally paying $117. My rate increased to $184 in April ‘22, then to $241 in September ‘22, then $277 in June ‘23, then $315 this month. They are currently advertising the same unit for $126 and when I spoke with somebody, they informed me that they were “just an employee” and could not do anything to help. My advice to you: look elsewhere for a storage unit.

It is very clean and easy to get in and out of. And the storage space is nice.

I had a great experience at the Utica public storage location. Will tested me with respect and was very courteous after I complained about an increase in storage fees. He politely explained the purpose and reason without planning me of with the usual "it's policy and nothing I can do about it" jazz. After I understood the business necessity of the increase he offered to extend my current monthly fee as a courtesy before the increase is in effect. Thank you Wilbur and thank you Public Storage for hiring such a helpful person.

Well, I have nothing but positives to say. The price is affordable, clean faculty, organized personal and very transparent with everything including contract pricing. The property manager Wilbert is top tier, he was not only friendly but over the top professional. I left feeling like I knew all I needed. I am so grateful to have found this place for my storage needs.

Michelle, the manager, is AWESOME. She has been great since I moved in. All issues handled promptly and professionally... Even the district manager stepped in to help keep my rate low... I would have moved out this week if not for them. Update 3/1/2023... Was afraid I couldn't afford the unit and had to move. Called Will and got the price increase reversed. On 2 units. Every dollar helps!!!!! Will seems to be a real pro!!!

Michelle was quick to help me with finding a unit. She was courteous and I appreciated her willingness to look around for me since I have transitioned out of the military and the right unit is important for my family.

I would recommend this storage! Michelle is very nice and really tries to work with you on lowering storage prices. She works hard and still manages to show a smile! Checked on us and gave us helpful information when needed!

I wouldn't recommend this place. The people running it are truly rude, and over priced. No ro for error, they'll just charge you a bunch of extra fee's. Oh and good luck catching someone in the office or by phone 🤬😡🤬😡🤣🤣😂😂

Loved my experience here with you guys. My father in law is blind and he called here to find a storage unit . Michelle was extremely patient and very kind . She understood his disability and worked with him and got him a unit with no headaches ...well minimal headaches😆... I like that they have secured units and you have to have a code to get in and out of it . Overall great experience. I would definitely recommend

I'm using the Public Storage in Shelby Township, MI because lots of items missed the moving truck. Michelle was wonderful and got me in the same day.They keep the lot well plowed, which is great, as it's January. I appreciate how well run the office is!

I had a great experience. Top notch customer service. Made a reservation over the phone and needed to upsize it and Michelle handled it. Move in date was not till a week later and was able to change the reservation once again when I found out a 50 ft Truck was delivering my goods. Michelle called around to some sister stores and found me one that could accommodate the moving truck. She refunded me since I had not yet moved in. I only ended up paying for the Admin fee which was fine by me. My main concern was accommodating the truck at that point. I am thankful the refund and new reservation at the other place went smoothly. Thanks Michelle

Michelle was very helpful today when I was looking for the right size unit for my girlfriend. Michelle was extremely friendly the whole time as well. The whole facility is very organized. 10/10 would recommend storing at public storage.

Michelle has always been extremely helpful and beyond friendly! She is very thorough and the reason I give this place 5 stars!! We have had our storage unit for almost 2 years now and have no complaints. Another storage facility, that we had used in addition to Public Storage, always had a broken gate. This left me concerned about my belongings that were stored there as well as concern for my personal safety whenever I would have to visit there after dark to grab things. At Public Storage I have never been worried about my stuff or my safety.
