This is the second Public Storage placeI have used with in the last three years. Staff was helpful and polite at 49400 Hayes, Macomb, MI. I still have a problem using my phone app to open the garage door so I have to put in manually and the "temperature control" needs to be fixed. It was way too hot on move-in day. Air conditioner was not working. Other than those two items everything is good. Clean storage unit.

I can’t believe that the exit door is still out of order. The aisles are always dirty - I have seen the same dead bug on the ground for 2-weeks. I’m looking elsewhere!

Raises prices on current members above advertised online standard rates, door on exit of storage unit hasn't work in months, and women's bathroom has been broken for weeks. Look elsewhere.

This is a newly built storage facility….the garage going out of the facility is down and from what I have heard from other tenants it has been down for months…then you can’t use the woman’s bathroom because it is out of order. I can live with the bathroom being out of order but the other garage being down is an inconvenience. When you come in you have to hope no one comes in after you or you’re stuck until they have completed what they needed to do. This needs to be fixed so inconvenient

Stopped in one afternoon to inquire about a storage unit for my business. Possibly veiw some different sizes. No person on site at Monday @2pm . Door locked. Called the phone number on the door that took me to a call center.... Who gave me the phone number to the actual property.... I Called, Woman answered said property manager was out to lunch and due back in about 10 min. Waited 35min... I left. Really? I understand the storage unit is not that hands-on, but no employees are there in the middle of the day? Just lock the door and go to lunch at whatever time, for how ever long? W/No posted time of return.

Amanda was amazing. She put up with my whole family all day. Very friendly service and they sell locks. Hooray!

I have been a customer here for the last two years and recently I visited in the evening after work until about 9:30pm as I had done before. This time there was yellow caution tape on the exit so I had to exit the storage area and re-enter so I could back out of the building with my car. I got a message that the building was closed and I would have to call a 1-800 number with my drivers license in order to re-enter. Well my drivers license was in my car locked in the building. I had to walk home and go back the next day get my car. No new signage was posted with the new storage hours. Prices there have also been increasing a lot every year. I am getting my belongings out of there and never doing business with them again.

Tabitha was in attendance today and her service was above and beyond. While I was out of town we've kept in contact untill I returned. She remembered me from the phone conversation and made sure my storage was up to date and the fees we're a good price.

Tabitha was awesome, very helpful and patient with me. She explained everything in detail to me and I appreciate that. Management please take note of this and this individual, there should be more people like this in the world, than maybe it wouldn't be so horrible!!!!!

Well maintained and clean facility. Everyone is great to work with. The app is easy to use to open the garage doors. I signed up online and took advantage of a discount offered.

One of the most unprofessional places I have come across. I applied for a job and was contacted by Chantel of HR. I attempted to set up the interview per her instructions. When I was unable, I reached out to her and the help email that was listed. After a delayed response I was able to setup a time for a phone interview, which I have a confirmation email for. And guess who never called. I again reached back out only to be ignored. And now like a week later they send me a email saying they are unable to offer a position. If this is how they treat potential employees, I can only imagine how they treat customers. And with the way Chantel in HR handles the hiring process, I see why they are hiring.

Rented when this was Beyond storage and it’s a very clean, secure location. The rates went up significantly from when rented in aug 2020. The only negative is that there is just one entrance to the indoor space and if there is a large moving company van it blocks the only entrance. Overall a good experience and the indoor climate controlled space is great to keep your things intact

Very unorganized with the pulling in and out. Customers getting rude with other customers because they couldn't get out and had to wait till other customers finished up what they were doing. I do not recommend this storage place at all.

Very clean and presentable

Very nice & clean units. Tabitha was so awesome answering all our questions. We went to rent a unit for our son who is always working & could never get there during business hours so she had the patience to answer all our questions & we called our son while there & she answered all of his! Tabitha escorted us to 2 units to see which we'd like better & it made it easier for us to choose. She was a pleasure to work with! One time my son had trouble getting in. The box outside wasn't letting the door go up but he understood sometimes there are glitches so he returned the following day. We do wish there was some sort of after hours number to reach someone but in our case it wasn't imperative that we got in. We were just dropping more boxes off. Although it could have been important for someone to get their belongings. Overall we are very happy with the unit, building & the caretaker, Tabitha!

Essence was professional and courteous helping me complete my sign up for a unit. The facility set up is easy, clean, and in a great location.

Terrible storage unit company. They will get you all moved in with a new customer price and then start hiking up your rates for no reason. I now pay over $200 a month for a 10x10 and it's all a scam. The place is also filthy with hundreds of dead flies all over the place! Parking is also a major nightmare and you'll be waiting a long time to get in or out of this location.

We were working on a mega move moving out of units with lots of helping hands and not many packing supplies. Not only we’re Tabitha and Essence super friendly to my self and my family but they helped us get on track with which supplies we needed and what was the best for what we needed it for they didn’t just let us buy one of everything and blindly try to load a uhaul. Thank you guys for making a huge job at least a little fun on the way in and out you guys made the whole experience better !
