This Public Storeage decided to have a kiosk and no longer a physical person there to address issues. My elderly Mother has a unit there over 5 yrs. The past 3-4 months door is bent and the latch is severely rusted which makes it difficult to enter. We have spoken on several occasions to a young lady on site who has attempted to reach out to her manager and even assisted with physically aiding in opening the door. We have been told that a outside contractor would come out to fix the door and each time NO SHOW. I don't feel my Mother should continue to pay since we cannot access the unit. We will be removing the items and reach out to corporate about the Farmington Hills, MI location.

Chad was very helpful. As well as Dan during the initial meeting. Then they lied about how much the storage would be. The price continued to go up over the next 2 years as I rented their storage while I traveled for Covid. After renting for 2 years. They sold my storage with over $7000 dollars worth of stuff, for supposedly $10 at an auction ( for a 1 month balance of $100. Not once appreciating the business I had given them for 2 years. I will never use this sorry storage company again. They have some family members that live on the grounds so I doubt if they really sold the storage I believe they personally took what they wanted and then sold the unit. $10 dollars! That’s a slap in the face. I should have sued them. Never again!!!!
I reserved a unit at 9:32am today, with move in scheduled for the same day. I just attempted to pay for my unit, at 10:54am (82 MINUTES later!) and to my surprise, I was informed that my unit is no longer available, and they have no more of that size. I was told that they are available at a first-come basis, although I had reserved it online (with email and texts to prove it) and was there in person less than 1 1/2 hours later. I was offered the opportunity to rent a larger unit for more money. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as this reeks of bait and switch. I have a confirmed reservation, scheduled to move in on the same day, and showed up less than 90 minutes after confirming the reservation, only to receive that message.
I have rented with you before, and never had a bad experience. This is a horrible experience.

It's probably one of the worst ever managed storage facilities ever built. Open on Sunday like everything, including the sign on the door? All lies. Avoid this place like it's the plague.

Updated: Chad recently came through and helped me with an issue accessing my door! He fixed it right away and I was able to get in to my unit.

Worst storage place I got here at 2:00pm on a Wednesday and was told I could get into my unit and was not able to do that because there was no key and there was no one in the office. I called the customer service number and they told me the manager should be on the property but yet they were not. Waited an hour just for the district manager to tell me to come back another day. Absolutely awful customer service and where is the property manager??

This facility is older but it is safe and clean. The biggest asset is Chad. He walked me thru the whole process, took me to the right size space and showed it to me. Explained everything that I paid for and signed. I would highly recommend coming to Chad and letting him find the right storage space. Leave ur stuff and go to Florida!!!
I have never had to use storage before. I went to several other facilities but until I came to this location did I find the one for my things! Chad made me feel comfortable from the beginning. He is very pleasant and helpful! Great personality and very knowledgeable! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
Chad is great example of customer service. He’s knowledgeable and caring about the customers and personal contents stored on-site. He’s responsive for any account or locker issues and will try to assist if needed. He is responsible and a good company representative 👍🏼

This facility has lots of storage areas. We were helping a friend move her stuff back to her apartment. This is a very secure facility.
