My experience at this facility has been one cluster mess after another. From threats coming from the male Attendant/supervisor, to outrageous increases on rental rates. Will not recommend.

They take money out of your account even when you cancel your services with them. $800 a month gone and I had to call the bank and put a stop payment. If someone calls me and does what they PROMISED to do which was to cancel my service I will reconsider my review but if not future customers, BUYER BEWARE, you rent at your own risk. The prices are low in the beginning and then they hike it up, but you are already committed because your items are already there. You are better off using another company called EXTRA storage (search for them instead of using public storage) . I’ve been with them and pay no more than $250 for years. I was with these people - public storage on Parklawn - just one year and the price climbed to $800 for the same size space I got elsewhere for $250. There are several storage spaces on Parklawn all clean neat and much more professional and less money hungry. These people are desperate and will do anything to take your money including billing you even after your cycle is over. If they tell you there is a lock do not go back to remove it no matter what even if they tell you they won’t bill you. I was told not to worry, to just to go get the lock off and next thing I know I’m being billed and told sorry we cannot refund the $800 we just took from your account. You go back to remove locks after you cancel at your own risk. Just call your bank and put a stop payment on them because the minute you go back and access the building. In my case the receptionist Debbie gave me a code to enter after I explained everything to her. They will bill you for the whole extra month. Let them figure out what to do about the lock and walk away (it’s $35 to break it) because they will steal your money no matter what.
Terrible place
Very professional and flexible check-in process. Debbie was understanding of my unique storage needs and provided outstanding customer service. Roll-up doors for easy access and plenty of moving carts.

Update to my initial review: service quality has declined and has become more of a hassle than a convenience. After mentioning that I would be making a late payment, and successfully completing that payment, I still get denied access to my actual storage unit. I have had my pin changed without my prior notice and access restricted even when in good standing with my account.

Very expensive place on parklawn Dr. They raise the rent every 6months to a year. Its unfortunate. I will be looking for another place asap. .....you may answer to a few reviews but you do NOTHING to resolve the concerns or issues. It's sad cause I know the RUDE lady that people in the reviews are speaking of....SMH She only nice when people want to rent from your facility. Its obvious you never spoke to her about her customer service cause when I see her shes still CRABBY. Not pleasant at all. MAYBE SHES THE OWNER. ....Customer service is everything. THIS PLACE IS TOOOOO EXPENSIVE AFTER YOU'VE BEEN THEIR FOR SOME TIME. I have to pay OVER $400+ FOR A 10×12 OR 10×15 Storage UNIT if I want to stay there.

There's more than one factor that makes a business a great place but for the most part is the customer service that will always add the cherry on top of the pie.
Unfortunately in my experience at this storage place I did not experience a "cherry" but a lemon.
I used this facility for 2 months and on those two months my experience as far as security, access, convenience, and cleanness has been excepcional, not the case with the customer service. I hate to be one of those to complain about an elderly person but when it comes to the older lady at the front desk, she couldn't be more straight up rude. She is condescending and disrespectful. Usually I give people the benefit of a doubt that was the case when I first came to the front desk for the first time and I thought, "she might be tire", and felt bad and let it go. The second time she was worse and a third time she refused to open the door from the front desk when I tried to ask her a question, and had to scream to hear that i couldn't hear what she was saying. I could elaborate but I won't out of respect.
Glad I'm gone and won't be dealing with her again.
I have after 7 years of renting at your facility in Parklawn never found such an outstanding employee. Ms Marci is the most professional and, helpful employee I have met in your facility. She is extremely helpful and always attentive to your needs! I highly recommend Ms. Marci as an excellent choice in hiring her to represent your company.
