Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 10328 S Dolfield Rd, Owings Mills, MD

Mr. Roosevelt, at Public Storage in Owings Mills, MD, help me transfer out of a large storage unit to a smaller one that was more appropriate for the size I needed. He is a very pleasant and caring person.

I was there thinking about getting a rental space and I haven’t decided what space I wanted at this time. But I wanted to let you know Mr. Roosevelt was VERY helpful on what space I needed and now because of him and his generous help i am considering getting a space at the dolfield location

I have been using Public Storage since January of last year and it has been great and Roosevelt is honestly the reason why this location is particularly the best. He is always knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond to help all the customers with any storage issues. If there is a problem Roosevelt is the guy to help you out and make your experience top notch. 5 stars in my book

Today Roosevelt Nelson was very helpful with repairing the panel on my door's latch. There was some damage and I tried to put the lock in and it wouldn't lock. He knew what to do to fix the problem. He was very friendly and found we had some common interests (hobbies). He went the extra mile today and I really appreciated that!

Roosevelt at the Dolfield Rd location customer service was phenomenal. If I could give him more stars I would. He was very pleasant. He was also very caring of my well being. Kudos to you Roosevelt.

Over the last few months that I needed to visit my unit, the gentleman at the front desk always waved to me with a smile upon entering and exiting. It is welcoming. It has never been that way. Some days a simple, friendly wave is needed. I recently learned that Roosevelt Nelson is the person. Roosevelt is a "people person" with great customer service skills that I look for in day to day interactions with businesses. Also, from what I've experienced logistically in the building, the property appears to be clean and well maintained. Thank you Roosevelt for all that you do at the PS Dolfield property! I use the storage unit for work and feel extremely satisfied with the safety of my material. However, I want to leave a review on Roosevelt. You couldn’t have someone better to assist you! Extremely respectful, courteous, problem solving, and all together an awesome person. Excellent storage facility! Clean, secure, climate controlled, reasonably priced, and best of all, the property manager--Roosevelt--is a gentleman's gentleman extraordinaire! While I was waiting my turn, I observed him resolving customer questions & issues, competently, & displaying a level of courtesy that is rare these days. He is accessible & knowledgeable but most importantly, does everything with kindness, a smile and a willingness to help to make everything go smoothly. Highly recommend!

Great storage unit it’s not too much traffic and it’s right off of 795 which makes it easier to get things out faster and to where it needs to go. The staff is super friendly including the manager Nick who took care of my needs! I highly recommend this storage place for your needs!

I love the location of my storage space and the online price cannot be matched.

This is the worst property to rent from do not ever patronize their business! The elevator is broke, and Customer Service is horrible. Property manager does not do anything to help the customers out! The 800 number is just as bad. They are not helpful and they hang up on you. I had two different customer representatives hang the phone up on me.

Kayla at the Public Storage on Dolfield in Owings Mills is Kind, Courteous and ALWAYS willing to help.

I rented the unit to have full access. Not only do I have to wait hours to get into my unit the elevator is broken so it’s no way in unless I actually take off work to be here hour someone is on the property to open the stairs. Great location it’s a huge inconvenience. Not only did no one return my call. When I finally reached the young girl who is never at work, she goes to tell me oh well and speak to me like it was my problem.

Wanted to give 5 stars to start however rent just increased over 35% (thats about $100 more a month) in the new year. I understand things cost more, but that's a huge jump! ...and that's not going torward mouse traps or bait because there are droppings throughout my unit. Disappointing to say the least. Management?? Please feel free to reach out.--> Update 9/23, just received notice rent going up another 15% effective Oct, 2023. 30 days notice. Still nothing from management regarding damage. No wonder there were mouse droppings in my unit from the wort beer storage next to me that spilled into my unit.

Owings Mills Dofield 21117 location will only allow a month to month lease instead of a 12 month lease. With that being said, at any random time they can, will and HAVE increased ones lease ONLY giving you a 30 day notice via email. (ASK ME HOW I KNOW). I downsized my unit because my monthly rent had increased to $259 monthly. My new unit was then prorated because of the downsizing/ switching over to that new unit… COOL. THAT CURRENT MONTHS RATE WAS $158.68. COOL ….THEN my 1st full months rent for that new unit size 5x10, was priced at $168. (Great). CATCH THIS - AFTER PAYING $168.00 for JUST 4 MONTHS MY RENT WENT UP TO $216.00. NOT COOL. NOT TO MENTION THEY WILL INCREASE YOUR RENT AT ANY RANDOM COST. That whole random, any cost, increase must have been in the 𝑠𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡 & 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑡 print EVER. IM A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF AND JUST MY OPINION, BAD BUSINESS FOR LONG TERM CUSTOMERS. I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE HERE. I guess I’ll be making another adjustment- OUT THE DOOR THIS TIME. GOOD LUCK TO YA!

Look for another facility. This place is terrible. The entrance elevator has been broken for over a month. Three weeks ago the rear elevator became inoperable. After several attempts to contact the property manager regarding the issue I was forced to reach out to customer service. I still have yet to receive a call from the manager. This is a bad way to operate an establishment! If you're into carrying your furniture up flights of stairs, you've hit the jackpot!

Bad experience. I set up a rental but canceled before I ever moved in. I called the location and left several messages to notify the property manager I no longer needed the unit. My calls were never returned. I reached out to customer service to cancel the unit. I was advised I would be refunded but never received it. When I called to check on the refund, a month later, I was told I would only be refunded $21 of the $54 it took for me to reserve the unit. Now 2 months later I call customer service, because still no refund, I am told I will not get a refund and if I was it will only be $1 and I will need to talk to the location's property manager to be refunded the lock. And of course I get a voicemail again at the property. If I ever need to store anything again, it will not be with this company. I paid for a service I never used. Horrible customer service!

Facility elevators have been broken for several weeks and we have been unable to access our items . Very disappointed. Would not recommend this location due to poor customer service. Patrons at-least need convenient access to their things as promised.

The whole process was very easy. The online reservation was very simple and user friendly. I went in to see the property manager, Candice, who was exceptional. She was very friendly and helpful. She explained everything to me and completed all paperwork quickly and effectively. She made me feel like I was moving in to my new home and was part of the family. I was very pleased with my whole experience.

I went into the store today to get information on obtaining a storage unit for my parents. I dealt with Candice who did a wonderful job at going above and beyond answering every question with great knowledge and expertise. The facility was very clean as when I walked in she was in the process of cleaning. That made me very comfortable and happy as the current facility that they are renting at is mice infested and dirty. So needless to say that was extra brownie points in my book . I will definitely be transferring storage units from where they are currently renting and becoming a tenant at the public storage on South Dolfield rd. THANKS CANDICE FOR EASING MY ANXIETY AND MAKING AN ALREADY DIFFICULT PROCESS ALOT EASIER FOR ME !

She is very kind and attentive to your needs. Bliss is friendly and willing to help you. If she can't help, she reaches out to her colleagues to find an answer to help solve your problem. I have an issue that I'm trying to get resolved, and Bliss was very impathetic. I was feeling defeated when I called; by the time I got off the phone with Bliss, I was feeling encouraged. Ja’Nay helped my husband and I set up my unit. Not only were we super frustrated from the last minute move but we also had serious concerns about Covid protocol at PS. She was extremely patient and gave me all of the information I needed. As well as getting us set up quicker than we expected (which I don’t need to explain is so critical after a stressful move). She’s a true gem
