I have been a customer at this location for many years. Recently, I have gone through some personal struggles. Katie listened, was compassionate, and recognized I could use some help. To help lighten my burden, she secured a temporary delay of my rent increase. I am extremely grateful to Katie for going above and beyond to assist me in my time of need. That is what I consider outstanding customer service! Thank you, Katie!
If you want to be fleeced, then take a storage unit at this location. Staff are never available, property manager never calls you back and when they do they are rude. In May of this year 2024 I was told my rate was increasing to $415 from $363. Now I get a notification that the rate as of December 24 will be $499 a month. That's an increase of $136 in just 6 months. searching for a new location now.

I had such a good experience with Katie at Public Storage. She was so helpful during my move out process and extremely friendly. She made everything super easy and simple. The cost of this 5’x4’ gloried closet has increased a couple times ea year and is up to a whopping $66/mo for a tiny space with limited access hours is nuts!!! Thankfully all the carts are no longer locked up—you used to have to go to the office to sign one out every time you needed one.

Good experience at this storage place. I came in to check prices and see the location for a storage unit. I don't need one until around the holidays but am shopping now. The place is well kept. The manager, Mac was knowledgeable and helpful. The bathroom was very clean which is a good impression!!

Recently, I had some concerns, and the local management team of MR. MAC and MS.KAYLA immediately went right to work on my behalf. They were able to offer and provide me an adequate, satisfactory solution. They are very professional and kindhearted. I just had to share my experience with the internet! This young man D'Andrea went above and beyond! My furniture got delivered at the wrong place at the Kent Ave location, I was past upset. He stayed cool, I went and got a Uhaul and this young man help load it and take it off to put it in the right location at there facility! Something he didn't have to do. He's an amazing young man. I take it back on its no hope for the future, maybe there is!!! Came back in to this storage facility and the same amazing service by a young man name Mac! Great place 5 stars for me!

Been storing my items here for a month. Its dry and climate controlled. The nice man in the office help me set up the app or my phone to make it easy for me. The price to store things is reasonable and it smells nice

After 4 years in Doha Qatar it was great to come back to my stuff just as I left it in an smoothly accessible and well secured location, clean and well lit too. I was very pleased with the personable and competent help I received from Mac in clarifying procedures for checking out, and for his readily volunteered help with loading my car with the packing materials I bought from the kiosk out front. Plus it is always good to come home to Catonsville 🙂
However…
The online PS experience over the four years started out well, but in recent months auto pay ceased working (for no reason, as the associated credit cards were all up to date). This problem continues now even though I’m back in the USA, if not Catonsville.
There should be an online rep who can be communicated with directly and who can do more than advise me to check with the bank!
I'm very pleased overall. My only complaint would be that I did not receive a prorated amount back from the larger unit that I terminated today.
