Kenya assisted me on the phone at the VERY (and I mean very) last minute with an urgent ask. I needed a place to store items for a client activation and the hotel advised as the last minute that they were no longer able to accept packages. I’m not from Nola so traveling in and trying to find a storage was no easy task. I wanted someone who would be flexible and able to accommodate me over a holiday weekend. Kenya got me squared away within minutes and within the hour I was with my courrier dropping off packages. If you don't mind homeless people living in the hallways and the property manager allowing them to then this is the place for you. Thanks Paul for clearing that up for me. He's the property manager.
No one is ever on site during office hours and they send you straight to email. Also, if you rent a unit that says stairs online it on the mezzanine and you can't be over 5'4 to get through the hallway due to the drop ceiling.

Do not rent from this company. Most places will give you a free month or first month 50% off or whatever, but not Public Storage, which is not the issue. The issue is that they advertise low prices equivalent to that of their competitors, but because it's not an introductory special, you expect your bill will be stable, but that is NOT the case whatsoever. After your first 3 or 4 months, they are going to raise your rent by over 50%. If you move into a smaller unit to fit your budget, they will raise that rent in 3 months also. I'm not complaining about what they charge for rent or the act of raising rent, it's how they do it that's shady because they expect most people will not feel like moving their unit every 3 months. They will just keep raising your rent by 50% every few months until you default. What ever happened to sticking to the agreement? 3 months and already a 50% increase, that's absurd. ALL THE NEARBY FACILITIES HAVE BETTER RATES simply for the fact you know up front what your bills will be, but not with Public.

I’m relocating from FL to New Orleans. I called and spoke to Ray, he was very nice and helpful. I will be renting a unit here when I relocate. Customer Service is everything to me, I was very satisfied with how courteous and informative he was!

Whoever works here should be fired. I opened my account on 7.16. I went to the location at around 1:30. I had a question, so I went to the office. There was a post-it with a note saying "back at 2:45". I thought it strange that no-one would be in the office that long, but figured it was an isolated incident.
I went back on 7.18 at 9:30 am to load more stuff. The website says gate access starts at 6:00 am. However, the gate was closed. So, I went to the office to see if they could open the gate. However, the office was closed and there was another post-it. This note read "back at 3:30" - six full hours later!! At the end of the month I'm canceling and moving to another company. This is terrible.
Ray is AMAZING! Very professional. He was able to answer all my questions and helped me decide which unit would be the best fit for my storage needs.
Ray is extremely rude. I went inside the office and found him sitting at his computer. This was directly underneath the sign "customer service" which displayed two hands shaking. I asked for rental rates on small units. I am traveling with a carload of things and a dog. I was interested in renting space but I'm not sure how he actually perceived me. I am a person with a lot of stuff and the proper funds to store it somewhere.
He told me that they can be found online. I asked several times in different ways for his assistantance. I'm sorry but if I am physically present in your office and requesting information verbally when you have access to that right at your fingertips....and you tell me to go look it up and give me every excuse as to why I should ....then he told me he say me outside and that I came in there with an attitude because he was watching me.
No sir, I saw you watching me. I'm ecclectic and hang out in my parking spots like an oddball, EVERYONE watches me, that's no big deal and no sweat of my back. My presence is not doing anything wrong. I'm allowed to be on this planet with my fellow humans and to be treated with respect as such. That is no reason to treat me unkindly or with lack of respect. I have challenges with technology and information processing.

Rude people every time I need anything from the office. Today no-one would answer the door to get a key for the flat carts they let you use. Only reason I give 2 stars is the place where my unit is very clean and having air conditioning is awesome! Just the staff seem to hate helping anyone.
