My app was not working. I was not able to get inside the gate, so I followed another car in once I got in. I was not able to get outside of the gate because the app would not open up. It would not allow me to sign in but of course they text me, the code to get out the gate, but it was wrong after 20 minutes of sitting at the gate someone finally came and let me out very unhappy

I had an excellent experience at this location. The two women at the front desk we’re both very kind and informative. They also helped make sure I had the best unit available for my budget and belongings. 10/10 would recommend!!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The AC unit on building B stopped working and they didn’t even bothered to fix it. We have called the office multiple times about it and they said they’re going to get it fixed. Several months later it’s still broken and we have stuff that needed to be in a controlled temperature environment and it was so freaking hot inside the unit building B. They finally decided to fix the door lock in building B that had been broken for months as well but that’s about it still no working AC. And they have the nerve to raise our monthly rates to over $100 oh hell no. We finally decided to move our stuff to a much better location in Metairie with working AC and better service and rates with another company. We were sweating so much moving our stuff out of that place even in the late afternoon because it was in August in NOLA. I DO NOT recommend this Public Storage space to anyone. Go elsewhere where they care about their customers.

This place was a nightmare!!! STAY AWAY!! I rented this place for my daughter to store her belongings over the summer. Upon move-out day, my husband couldn’t get into the storage facility. He has the app to open the gate but there were no instructions on how to get into the building to access the storage unit. He arrived there around 12:30p, no one was there at the office. He called customer service number, no help and was transferred a couple of times to the manager on call. I called the customer service number and left several urgent voicemails to manager on call. We have a flight to catch at 5p and really need to have my daughter’s belongings removed from the unit by 3pm. After the 3rd or even 4th call, I pleaded with the last representative, her name was Jill, to please stay on the phone and try to help me because I have been calling since 12:30p and have left numerous VM and no one has called back. Ms Jill was trying her very best to help me. Thank you, Jill! My husband who was at the abounded premise for at least 1.5 hrs, tried to ask for help from 2 other customers. Finally someone told us to call customer service and listen to numerous prompts before they give you instructions on “HOW TO GET INSTRUCTIONS” to access the door to the storage units! After almost 2 stressful hours of trying to get assistance and not missing our flight, we were finally able to retrieve our belongings. There is no way I would use this faculty AGAIN!! To the owner of this faculty, please retrain your poorly trained manager on duty, Ashley! Not being available, either in person or by phone, for several hours is poor customer service. Not answering urgent and pleading voicemails for 2 hrs is poor customer service! If you are not available onsite or by phone, leave a sign out there with clear instructions on how to access the building. Or train your customer service reps on how to access the building. I spoke to at least 3-4, and all were very quick to put the call to someone else. Only Ms Jill, tried her best to help me with the code. Terrible service from property manager!

I rented for a month in August 2022. Pros: Location is decent and it was never very busy. Price was reasonable. Cons: Gate code didn't work the first time we entered. No one would answer the phone but the chat was able to resolve after 10 minutes. The office never returned my 2 voicemails. Office hours are not strictly followed. At least 3 cat poops on 2nd floor of building E. Update: When moving out, I discovered that water has been dripping onto my items. My clothes are now damp. The office was also closed because internet is down. Someone is sitting in their car telling you the internet is out. Update Jul 2023. I rented again but ended up not needing it. Was charged an admin fee and first months rental. Tried to go into the office 3 times and no one was ever there at this location.

I just want to say that I made a reservation online and went to the office, no one was there. I tried multiple different communications, after waiting 2 hours I was greeted by Ash who was very welcoming and apologetic about the circumstances of being short staffed. She traveled from another store location just to assist me, and was so helpful in making sure I was all checked in. I appreciate her soo much, because initially I was frustrated. Thank you so much Ash if you see this (hearts)!

Woman at the front is extremely rude and gives nothing but a bad attitude every time I need a bit of clarification on something as if it was her biggest inconvenience. Cant get through to public storage customer service either. As a customer service rep for other businesses, I do not normally write reviews but this place…

I’m not happy with the way this place operates. I made reservations online, came here in less than five minutes to complete my reservation. There was no one in the office. I came sat in my car and contacted another facility and ask where was the worker/s for this location, I was left on hold for twenty plus minutes eventually contacting a virtual assistant who finally helped me. I noticed that the worker was sitting in a Honda dark colored car the whole time, not worried about doing her job. She walked by my car and the foul smell of marijuana was very strong. This is highly unacceptable for this public storage facility to be ran poorly with a worker that doesn’t care about attending to potential customers. Where is the management??????

Update: The team at Public Storage helped me with my situation by offering a discount. I appreciated that. They also fixed the lift. Wow this place has really gone downhill. I had the worst experience booking a storage unit at this place yesterday. First, i arrive at the gate and the gate is broken. Had to wait a little while, no big deal. When I arrive at my unit, I notice its locked. I go to the counter and the clerk says I need to go to the other Public Storage to complete a transfer because that unit is inoperable. The reason they can’t make the transfer is because their computers are currently down. Frustrated, I go to the the other PS, and they charge me $1.00 to complete the transfer that was no fault of my own. I begrudgingly paid cause I wanted to unload my truck as soon as possible. Finally get back to the other PS, park my truck and get ready to unload my stuff on the lift and go figure! The lift is broken! Anger level is now at a peak and ready to just cancel and get my money back! Gate is down, computers are down, the lifts are down, fire damage on the side of the building for months now. What works in this place!?!

Just had a wonderful experience with Ash and Rocky. I have had my unit for over a year but was experiencing some difficulties with the website due to not living in the US right now. They were incredibly patient and were able to resolve everything for me. Fantastic customer service, I really appreciate them.

I recently made arraignments for my aunt belongings to got into storage with this site and the process was a hassle through the website but the Manager Jtoby walked me through each step and waited over the phone until I confirmed with him that the application was done. He also greeted my aunt and cousin when they arrived to fill up her storage unit. I appreciate the support and trust that was instilled during this process.

I visited this facility after having issues with a different company. I was kind of skeptical at first about using another on but the service I got at this location was the best. Ms. Ashleigh made sure I would have the best service and transition to my new storage room. She explained everything in full detail and very clear, I literally had no questions. I will recommend this location to family and friends. Best service ever.
