New owners are horrible. Raising prices on units when you have a signed contract. Watch your rates and what they charge you. No one will ever be available by phone, and they provide very little help in person. The manager Trisha is rude and hangs up on customers
Might I add, they're EXTREMELY DECEITFUL. I SIGNED A CONTRACT 09/29 (WHEN THEY FIRST TOOK OVER) WITH MY PRICE THAT I WAS PAYING FOR 2 YEARS. THEY CLAIMED THEY SENT ME A LETTER VIA MAIL ON 10/01/23 STATING THAT MY PRICE WOULD CHANGE. NO NEW CONTRACT SIGNED OR ANYTHING. I ALSO QUESTIONED WHY THEY SENT A LETTER WHEN EVERYTHING HAS BEEN COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL (CONTRACT ALSO SAYS INCREASES OR CHANGES WOULD BE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL). YET THEY MAILED A LETTER OUT TWO DAYS AFTER I SIGNED A CONTRACT. THEY'RE EXCUSE...... ALL CONTRACTS ARE MONTH TO MONTH SO THEY CAN CHANGE WHAT THEY WHEN THEY WANT. THEY'RE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS
They just keep raising their prices on the units. The staff there isn't helpful much when I couldn't get my unit to open since someone replaced my locks??? They have no idea what happened even though it's one of the locks they sold.
The old owners were a bit better, this company could care less, they just want money. No pro-rating for move out like the old company would, forced insurance payments that "you need proof if you decline" but no one cares to see proof. it's all just directed at making you feel like you need to pay more for less. drive a bit further and find a better place.
I typically do not write negative reviews, but this place is the worst and people need to be warned of the complete lack of respect for other people's property this company displayed. We have had our camper stored here for 5 years and it took only one week of new ownership by public storage for us to move to another facility. When they repainted the building, they completely covered our camper in overspray. No one bothered to call us to let us know the repaint was happening nor have we ever received a call from management with an apology. Also, there are other campers with the same issue, and I would be shocked if anyone from this lousy company called them. Also, they use the term "secured" storage very loosely as the gate to the facility had been left open for weeks so random people could come and go as they pleased. There are plenty of other storage options in town, so you don't have to deal with this mess.
Zero star for the front desk lady. She is like why did u come in, get out.....pity for the owners. Advice to the owner: I understand the shortage of labor at this time but dont employ such person as they ruin ur future business.
Although I did not end up renting a unit, I was overall pleased with my experience. I explained what I would be needing the unit for and I was given options on what would work best for me. Josh was really helpful and thorough with his information that was provided. As previously mentioned, I did not end up renting a unit but could see myself doing so in the future. Highly recommend this property!
Rude and way over priced acted better then everyone like they didnt work at a storage place got a 10 by 10 climate for less then they wanted for a 5 by 10 non climate look elsewhere

Stopped by to talk to someone about the cost of renting as I need something close to campus. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
1. Rate increase from $73 to $140 gave a bad taste at my last year ever renting at this place.
2. Wanted us to rent more when no one is renting, and wanted us out as soon as it gets filled bc we paid so little.
The manger never mentions robbery-style price increase when moving in, nor mentioned anything about it. Though may left inside terms of service, this practice left me a terrible impression while being a long term tenant.
Glad I am leaving this place forever and never to return again. if you are new, consider this, can you take the random price hit when it is your unlucky day?
I suggest try Klondike Storage. More transparent pricing and always rented out.
The staff here are very GREAT.
simple and easy to use. Just sign up on the website and make a phone call if needed. Just remember to go in person first as your storage place might be not at the actual store but a block away at the warehouse.
Staff was very candid, helpful, and knowledgeable. The newer people said that they were newer but immediately escalated the questions that they couldn’t answer directly. We are very happy with our unit and the staff there!

Simply self storage provided a friendly and very safe and secure storage facility to me for about 2years. They were always so helpful and the secured access was great with my valuables and keepsakes.

It was great experience renting a storage unit here.
The manager Toni refuses to prorate our rent when we moved out the 4th day of the month. Even with a ten day notice it “can’t be prorated out, we can only prorate in” meaning if you obtain a unit the 20th day of a month your bill it gets prorated for the remaining days. However, 🤡because of corporate policy🤡 even if you gave a ten day notice of move out and left the 2nd day of the month you will still pay for the entire month. Toni will not comprehend that she, as a manager, has power to assist the customer and provide realistic and professional service and will instead succumb to the corporate powers that be. People like this don’t understand how to manage a franchise/business and if you feel like avoiding corporate sheep then I would recommend elsewhere.

5/5. - The best storage place to store your items for a longer term. Katie and Beverly offered a great service that was easy to navigate. The prices were very reasonable and student-friendly compared to anywhere else. I will definitely come again next year and would maintain a great relationship with this business. If you are looking for storage in WL, this simply storage facility should be the first one that should come to your mind!
Nothing quite like it. Amazing staff, clean units, and above all, affordable prices! If you are a student or just someone who needs to store a couple things, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! The ladies, Katie and Beverly (I hope I spelled that right) were extremely friendly and cooperative.

Awesome service! I came there as a first year college student looking to store some things and I couldn’t have been more welcomed and helped.
I like Simply Self Storage. The drives are kept clear of snow and ice in the winter and other types of debris in the other seasons. The staff is friendly and they have a restroom in the office. Recently when I was in dire need of an additional storage unit Simply Self Storage had just what I needed. My only complaint is that in the ten years or so that I have had a unit with them my rent has almost doubled, ugh 😕
