Beverly was really nice with the check in, and wonderful customer service.
I had gotten a locker and I didn’t receive two locks, so I called over 10 times the last few days I was transferred through person to person calling online, I was beyond frustrated with it. So I finally caught the lady who helped me set up the locker in the first place at the storage unit, her name is Beverly. She helped me get it all sorted out and fixed and let me know all the things that I should be aware of as a First time storage renter. I was so relived and happy for the loop of transferring and struggling to come to an end and it was all thanks to her! Now I will say I wasn’t going to go with this storage company at first the honest only reason I did was because of Beverly. Her hospitality and welcoming tone made me stick with the company. I really appreciate her, I feel she doesn’t just take pride into her job but treats everyone as if they are family tbh. One of the best workers someone could ask for! Thank you Beverly!!!

The person that was working today on June 3 at 11 AM was the rudest woman I have ever encountered in my life. I walked in the office told her I needed to return the lock and keys, her response was well why. I told her my son called in February to let them know we had moved out and asked not to be charged anymore. She told me there was no record of that so if we did not pay today for this month, it would go to collections. Period I said OK. She said OK whatever. Bye get out. There is no way I would ever recommend anyone going to this facility ever again.

I find it extremely unethical that just because they bought the existing storage company they think that they can change terms of the contract without the customer's consent.
When I called and said that they can't just add additional insurance requirements because they bought the place and that because I'm out-of-state, I can't remove my items They were extremely condescending And said they can explain the contract to me like I'm a child. (Corporate, not the people at this location.)
Apparently, they think that they can put in a contract whatever they want without your consent and somehow that makes it ethical.
Cashier in Lafayette, IN on 52 next to Aldi's. This is second time last minute that I had to have a unit. Same lady is very friendly very nice!!! It's a 10/10

I stored some college stuff here for the summer and it was great, very easy to access and plenty of space for a great price! Booking it was a little rough, I plan on getting a locker here again next summer though and I will call ahead and ask if they have space and then just set up rent in person rather than online because the system is somewhat confusing online.
We dropped in today just to check it out and decided to rent immediately. Gail was so helpful and friendly. We like the location of the facility and we really like the accessibility of our unit.

The best storage experience a first-timer could ask for! As a student, SS has it all because the hours are flexible and the units are economically priced and keep all items safe. I have rented with them twice before and have never had any complaints. The customer service is outstanding and you can trust the manager Gail to help you select the perfect unit to leave your stuff in. Absolutely recommend SS to everyone.

I would not recommend storing your belongings here. They require only payments in person if put into "auction status". In dealing with a sick family member out of town, I asked if I can pay online. I was told I can not and it's policy that no payments can be taken over the phone or she could lose her job. As a customer this is extremely inconvienant. They do not care about there customers only making money. They also will raise the prices throughout your agreement. So many hidden fees you will find if you miss any payment. Save yourself the stress and money. They also would not answer the phone when I called multiple times. They do this so they can charge you more. My advice is to look elsewhere.

I needed a storage facility to get my move done in the time frame and price range I wanted, At first I went to Uhal and they were trying to have me pay 180$ for the same size unit in cluttered conditions, also when I asked the uhal worker if they had any units and they told me to come in and long story short the guy was being rude and childish, so next I went to simly self storage is where I went next and I found They have great customer service and air conditioning for units, witch I needed for my old wooden cabinet. They also have a wide verity of sizes and locations in the facility.
Never got our 1st month free. I emailed and never got a response. Unfortunately we paid for several months in advance so have the unit until the end of May.
