Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1801 W Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN

Today my experience at the Colosseum public storage was very gratifying because I am a longtime customer and I got a discount for the next three months thank you, Sam and Rich

I got a reservation and a couple days before the date to move my stuff in i decided to change my plan and cancel my reservation, guess what, it was absolutely impossible i went to the place after 9:40 and there was no one, i called and no one answered my call, i left a message and no one called me back, i tried to message them in the website and the guy who took care of me told me that he marked my account but it was on the manager to call, days passed and no one called me back, 0 response when i just wanted the deposit of the padlock so i could put some gas in my car. Inaceptable

To Expensive for a small space and I paid mid month Full price just to pay full price again on the first so I had it just for 2 weeks and already having to pay almost 200$ seems kinda un fair with no prorated pay

Raising rates an absurd amount after only a few months. I got behind, paid the fees, and they refused to unlock my unit. I got behind again, paid the late fees and brought my account up to date, and was told they are still going to sell my belongings. After I paid them. Jerks.

I really want to give them a good review because when I first went in there back in 2021. Everything went well and the employees were super helpful. But I’ve watched them keep raising their price over these last few years and it’s getting ridiculous. When I first started renting a unit, it was $83 a month and since then they’ve jumped up several times and now I’m paying $133 a month. For a place that got broken into and had several units stolen from not that long ago, they’ve got a lot of nerve. Seriously just considering finding a different storage place, because I’m a trucker out on the road, I don’t have a house and that’s my life in their unit and honestly between their pricing and their failure at protecting units from thieves, I can’t trust them.

The reservation was painless, quick and easy. The first month promo of $1 was super and unexpected.

Like most storage facilities, it's totally self service the property is kept up , and there is an app available that allows you to open the gate without getting out of your car , Negative points if something is taken from your storage you are on your own the person at the office doesn't know much about the process so no help there , and they raise the rate like clock work

Loved this place. Affordable and we have used it many times throughout the years.

Can't access your storage unit from 9pm-8am every night and very sketchy//borderline unsafe units. Ridiculous! No wonder they were half the price of most places.

Had issues with the door on my storage unit and Autumn was a great help and got it all changed into a new one with no issues. Kept my price the same even though I had to be put in a bigger space. Would highly recommend working with Autumn if you need a storage unit

Autumn was very knowledgeable and patient while helping me decide which unit to choose. She walked me through everything and showed me a couple different sized units so I could make sure I chose the right one. I really appreciated her upbeat attitude and thoroughness through the whole process.

We had mice poop and pee all over our boxes. Water leaks into the units. We scheduled move out and they claimed they sent us an email which we didn’t get saying their lock needed to be removed to be considered moved out. They now want us to pay the entire month past our move out plus a late fee. They never bothered to call us when we scheduled move out and they noticed the lock still on. They waited until over a month later to demand we pay or get sent to collections. The person in office is absolutely rude. We will never use them or recommend them.

Convenient location

I had my possessions there for about 2 years at first the price was very reasonable Even tho the storage units were out doors then they started to increase there rates . I only saw the place the first time I put my stuff in a unit . Never went back it did not wish to live in Fort Wayne city seemed ok but I did not have anyone I knew there The price jumped to over 90 dollars a month so I finally had time to go back there and retrieve my items that were in there . The place looked horrible the fence looks like an old horror move gate dark shadows type felt like it may collide with my vehicle lol when I went in it did not get much better they should be a shamed of that place it look so terrible all old paint and rust was on everything . In pa where I stay that night mare couldn’t get a anyone to put stuff in there storage units specially for 90 dollars a month ,oh Abby who works there was really nice and helpful thanks Abby . How did it get all those 4 star ratings

If you looking for a Storage unit I Highly recommend Shanice she is the person for the job she very respect, take her time ,explain everything she very polite and she is always in the office ..

Safe and dry you can bring your own keys with your own locks or you can use theirs which they provide the insurance is a really good idea just in case other than that it's a good place to hold your gear just in case you got nowhere for it to go

Shanice is the best ever she is always in the best mood and makes me feel at home every time I come in love this location

The gal working the desk is rude, and the isles are narrow really hard to get a 26' truck in and out.

I called in to get information on the units and Abi was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the business, and so kind. Definitely plan to use them when we move into the area!

A pretty sufficient place to store my extra stuff. Nothing particularly fancy, but it is relatively secure and has a perimeter fence with exclusive access.

My light in my storage unit has been broken for 6 plus months. Every time I ask about having it fixed they tell me excuse after excuse. The rate is more expensive than other locations for the same size unit.

I was shopping for a unit and Shanice was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! She took me through all the security on the property and the useful tools the property has, like app access to open the main gate. The property was also visibly in better condition than some others I've seen while shopping.

Shanice and Abi were awesome in my experience at Public Storage! I’ve rented my unit for 6 months and my unit was very spacious and clean. I also worked late last night and wasn’t able to get all my things out in time and they gave me a grace day as you could say! The really saved me as far not having to pay another month when I only needed a few hours. I would highly recommend their service for storage as well as their customer service and great attitudes!

I would like to say Thank you to Sharice from public storage, she worked with us and made it possible to give me a little more time to get my belongings out of our unit due to our schedules being different than there work hours. She was very professional but also empathetic to our situation. She also returned phone calls quickly and respectfully. She is a new mother and still made time to make sure we didn't lose our personal belongings. I would recommend Public storage on W.Coliseum any day.
