Place is clean and well maintained but the customer service is not good. Front desk lady is on the rude side and talks to you like she’s doing you a favor by even giving you any attention. I don’t know her name only that she’s black, short, and on the stocky side. This hasn’t been my first experience with her, each time it’s been the same. Customer service goes a long way into making you want to stay with the company. I will choose another location soon based solely on her bad attitude.

I utilize the services of Public Storage for my storage needs, and while the facility itself seems clean and well-maintained, the customer service provided by their workers is absolutely abysmal.
From the moment I stepped foot into the facility, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the employees. They were unhelpful, dismissive, and downright disrespectful. It is clear that they have no interest in providing quality customer service and seem more interested in simply going through the motions.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care and respect shown by the workers at This Public Storage.
In conclusion, while the facility itself may be clean, the poor customer service provided by the workers at this location will leave a sour taste in your mouth. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my negative experience.

I have rented the same storage unit for 13 years. Finally came back to Chicago to clear it out. Very stressful. Shonda (not sure how she spells her name) in the rental office could not have been more sweet or helpful. Had a good time chatting and laughing with her. Definitely helped ease the anxiety.

The property manager is unprofessional and disrespectful. Both yesterday and today I was set to have an appointment to view a unit for my property. I arrived early yesterday and on time today. Both times I waited for twenty minutes and no one came to the door nor responded to my calls while I was there. Yesterday, after I departed but called back and the property manager answered, and did not acknowledge the fact that she set the appointment nor apologize for her inconvenience. She instead stated are you going to come back or not. Then today stated she was going to her lunch break and to arrive at 2pm. I’m pretty sure this is not the first time this has been done to other people. It’s not okay to run a business. Get it together and take accountability. Thankfully I found another company altogether to support my immediate needs in such short notice.

Edit- On January 27th at 8:17pm, a fellow customer arrived and we had a conversation while he was waiting at the gate. He mentioned that he had experienced a similar situation the night before, on January 26th, where the gate was broken and there were no employees present. He did not honk his horn when he arrived. I plan to revisit the location at a later time to follow up on this matter and update my review accordingly.

I’m waiting outside again in the fog, rain, and cold Chicago air. The gate doesn’t work, no one is in the office, and no one returns calls, so I can’t drop off my car full of belongings. How can I access my storage unit? There’s a car here of the employee working, yet not a sole in sight. The same gray car is parked in front, but I assume whoever is inside back in whatever office isn’t willing to come to the front door. You with the gray SUV, can I please get a little help? I’ll bring you tea and cookies, buddy. Please help me out. Text me when you’re ready to open the door. I promise I won’t sit outside for 20 minutes, honking my horn and knocking on the door again. Just come to the door.
I think the facility is lovely, and always clean, and the staff is always helpful. Over the past couple of years, the prices doubled, and today, Monday, January 22nd, I went at 8:15; the facility closes at 9, so I went to the broken gate. Then I went to the office that was locked. Then I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes with a car full of storage stuff, and no one appeared to be working. Please fix the gate.

Moving and storing personal items can be a tough time for most, but the people at this location made it a breeze. The manager, Shonda, not only covered all the basics for renting and best deals, she also provided valuable information that one would need to understand the process completely and plainly. The other manager, LaQuitha, handled customer care professionally on the phone, as she helped a misguided customer by providing valuable information on locations and directions. Professionalism was the key. I walked in not knowing the name of the place on a cold drizzly morning but walked out with a smile. Thanks, Public Storage.

Clean and easy access but rent is outrageous! Theyll raise it without any warning and when you cant pay they tack on late fees. Do yourself a favor and get a storage unit in the burbs. $250 for a storage unit is outrageous

The dark skinned lady that sits at the front counter always has an attitude. I will figure out her name to write later. One time I came in here to get some things out of my storage she insisted on telling me something that was left in the hallway was mine. I kept telling her it wasn’t mine. She said I was watching you on camera and saw you leave it. Like why are you watching me on camera anyways that’s creepy. When it’s other customers in the building as well. Then she stated she was going to throw it away as if I was supposed to be mad. It wasn’t mine so I could care less. I came another time and asked a question befor going to my storage she looked as if I was invading her space 😂 like don’t you work here? I don’t recommend this place.

I had a unit here for over a year with my fathers items inside. Service was miserable and full of sadness at best. Most of the time I would come in to check in the unit the elevator was broken and so you have to either use the stairs or a tiny sketchy one all the way in the back. They raisers my rent a total of two times in one year without any notice. (Just when they said you owe) Then when I missed an month because they’re auto payment would never seem to work correctly they charge and insane fee. Eventually because I was in between jobs they took my unit and sold it within a month and a half and little to no notice was given. :( when I called to ask after they left a message they said I was too late and acted like I was a criminal) I understand business but basic courtesy is due.

This location is very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. I walked in and Salman showed me space working for my needs and told me all I needed. Isaac was helpful. He was able to override issues with the online discount and offered the discount when I arrived in person. It is difficult sometimes to find help from the office, because either they are very busy or don’t have enough employees to schedule for the number of tenants in the building.
Update: I can’t believe this place. After this chick made me make a review before I left the office they put a lock on our storage without our permission after we told them we had our own lock and then played dumb about not having a key to take the lock off. WARNING do not trust anything they tell you in the office… your best bet is just dealing with another storage facility.
This is my first time reserving a storage and I am very happy that I picked this facility. First, it was incredible easy to unload my items thanks to the carts that are provided and the elevator. But most importantly, because the incredible Isaac helped me today. I could not recommend it more!

I came by the looking for 10x10 or larger unit to rent. Isaac showed me a 10x12 unit on the first floor which was perfect for me. I told him to hold it until tomorrow. He said I can't guarantee it will still be available, so he wrote my name and phone number down. Then I told him i'll be back tomorrow. But I thought about what Isaac said and decided to come back today and rent the space. Also he showed me how to download the app. Thank for all your help ISAAC.

Hey I will like to update. First of all these are all fake reviews. Upon signing up the guy basically makes everyone write a review. Be very careful here. I recommend bringing your own lock. I believe these guys are thieves. I strongly believe they go through our belongings. Possibly have very expensive master keys. 100% sure they have copies of keys to lock 🔒 that they provide. Bring own lock. I believe these guys went through my unit.
