Kalia was AWESOME! I had an issue at another public storage and was transferred to this location. I was so stressed because me and my father had to unload the stuff and he lives an hour away from me. This place is great! I called them on a Saturday (last minute) and spoke with an awesome lady named Kalia.. She answered all my questions and even showed me the unit i would be getting.. From start to finish Kalia was personable and knowledgeable . So glad she was there and HAPPY to help. The Storage facility is clean.It is very cool and they had the little Dolly carts right when you walk in the door and they have a lot of them.So you're not running around looking for a cart... Also they have ample parking and multiple doors that you can back up to ...so that no matter what unit you get ..you'll still be close to a door... I was honestly Dreading going in there but i'm so glad that I went with this location... Thank you again Ms. Kalia.. you are literally a breath of fresh air.. wish i could give her more stars..

Ive never used public storage before. The process was easy, straightforward, and fast. Kalia helped me find a solid unit and walked me through the ins and outs of the contract and expectations. She also helped me link up my account and showed me exactly how to use the doors.

Just rented a unit at the public storage location off of Herodian in Smyrna, Georgia. Kalia was the manager on duty who helped me with my rental, and was awesome! I move in March 2023, and in the mix of this upside down world and with everything going on I have a very awesome experience with this location. It’s very clean and also Miss Kalia property manager was so awesome and friendly and got the job done quickly and fast with no problem when I vacated my unit. I will I tell anybody that wants to get a good storage Union please come here.
Access hours are very limited. Hard to get your stuff if you work regular hours. Mandatory insurance is also a hidden fee. Edited: Then after leaving this review the manager called and tried to argue about this. Matter
Drove 2 hours to pick up a storage unit from auction ...Waited over 2 hours nobody there. Called customer service got district manager number left messags and she won't return my call either such a waste of time. 6 others waiting in the parking lot to get help . Unbelievable!!!
This location never answer the phone...never return calls...leaving messages on this office voicemail is all in vein because they never call you back.

Walking into this location after coming a few times with no one in the office today Al was there and while his voice is monotone (just how he talks) he was very helpful! He walked me to different units, shared location features and answered any and all questions I had about my space. Great job and I’m happy to be renting from here!

Wow! What a great turnaround from before! Our family has been using this location off and on for years and had been growing concerned this past year at the grungy appearance, cleanliness, lack of responsiveness by the Property Manager, and overall safety of the property. BUT that has all changed now for the better! After the property manager changed a few months ago, the improvements have been IMMEDIATE and noticeable! Shannon (I hope that is how her name is spelled !) is an absolute gem! SO VERY pleasant! And she works the hours that are posted so we aren’t having to wonder who we need to speak with!!! We have noticed the responses to our concerns swiftly replied to and handled! The property is now kept up, repairs are being made, the parking lot stays clean and well kept in appearance and we feel secure entering and exiting the building. We so appreciate her work behind the scenes to help restore the facility to the place we chose to keep our valued stored belongings safe and because of this, will be doing business here any time we need additional storage! Highly recommend!!

CONS:
Roaches! Roaches! Got into my stuff. Moving to my new apartment and have roaches in my stuff :( . And it seems like I am the only one that cares.
Going into the storage unit I see dead roaches.
_ Corporate is impossible to reach. I contacted them regarding a prorated refund I was promised by a staff member. I never heard back after countless times reaching out.
PROS:
Very kind workers at the actual location.
Move in was simple, but my storage wasn’t clean before I moved in. Every time I come to the storage there’s fewer and fewer carts, now there’s just one that’s constantly locked up. When I move my entire apartment out of the storage I will literally have to carry everything myself and I’m pregnant. Extremely inconvenient that I would have to go out of pocket to buy my own cart or dolly to move my furniture from a storage that’s supposed to have them provided.
The new site manager was amazing on follow up and helping me set up my new storage unit!
Ms. Stephanie is so accommodating. She is very nice and is a hard worker.

I walked in right at opening and it was very busy. Phones were ringing and people were waiting outside. Angela was truly a professional and handled her job reminiscent of a switchboard operator and a top salesman at the same time. She was very cordial and did her best to take care of everyone including myself expeditiously. Awesome job!!
Met with Stephanie the property manager and she was exceptional, all the way from when she greeted me outside the lot and into the office. I am renting a space because I am leaving for training in a week and needed to move my belongings. She did a walk through of the space and explained which one would be a better fit for me.
