I have been renting a unit from this location for a little over a year. The facility is very nice and clean. The only issues I've ever run into were not being able to walk-in during business hours b/c the doors were always locked. At the time there was a worker there that I'm certain didn't take the job seriously. However, as time went by I met an angel. That angel's name is Mrs. BETTY! I must say I have not had one problem since. Whenever I have or had a concern with my account she'd always take the time to explain thoroughly so I'd understand what was going on. Before telling me "No" it can't be done, Mrs. Betty makes sure she research everything first and exhaust all possible avenues. This is what you call great customer service! And her SMILE and SPIRIT will brighten anyone's day. To anyone reading this. If you live local and are in need of a unit. Stop by Public Storage at 4200 Okeechobee Blvd., WPB Fl. My mother passed away not long ago. I ended up getting behind a bit this month and asked them not to cut the lock off because it will get paid this month. Yet, they still cut the lock and are rude about it. Don’t use this facility. I’m never using public storage again.
Do not use this facility. Terrible people and are rarely there at all. Mother passed away and became of funeral, I got behind. Been paying this unit for almost a whole year. Only a couple weeks late and still cut my lock. I asked not to and give a little time. They don’t care , they don’t listen, and they mess with your stuff. Never come to okeechobee one.

I give the 4200 Okeechobee Blvd. location 2 stars because of the employees. For example today after we were finished helping my mother move stuff from her storage, my husband needed to use the restroom located in the building. The restroom was locked, and it's not supposed to be during open hours. My husband is disabled and almost had an accident on himself because we had to go all the way to the front office. When he was about to ask why they were locked, the lady told him they were locked because she didn't feel like cleaning up after people. Now this ladys job is literally handling janitorial, so why is she even employed if she isn't going to do the job she's paid for. Please do better or find a different job if you don't like cleaning up after people.

I had a great experience thanks to Latasha. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful when helping me sign up, and thanks to her I was able to get a great deal! The unit itself was clean and spacious enough for what I need it for. The lights in the corridors also automatically turn on once you start walking near them, so that's nice tho initially nerve wracking if you have any phobias of dark corridors.
I just got off the phone with the District Manager of the West Palm Beach Public Storage (Ben). He had a listening ear and willingness to rectify the situation I experienced. He asked what he could do to make the situation better so I asked to be credited for the month that I had not used but had been turned over to collections for payment. Ben went above and beyond to not just reverse those charges but also to credit back 1 month of previously paid rental. I am amazed 👏 at this level of empathy and compensation. Ben is a credit to Public Storage, if I ever need them again, because of Ben, I'll be back.
