Beware!!I was totally scammed by the place I rented in Florida. It's company policy they told me.
I rented a 10x15 and was told the rate I pay for the second month "won't likely" go up for at least 6 months.
First month was $1 plus some fees so here's how it went:
May 2024 $31.66
June 2024 $232.64
July 2024 $387.74
Aug 2024 $387.74
Sept 2024 $387.74
Oct 2024 $387.74
November I was notified that my rate was about to increase to $524.74
Unreal!! This is absolutely disgusting to rob people this way and I will be contacting the Florida Attorney Generals Office about this.
I moved out in October to a place next door and am saving hundreds and they do not raise rates like Public Storage.
Plus, this location only has 2 carts with wheels down to the metal and are tough to use and people are often waiting for someone to be finished so they can use one. With the high price they are charging, they can certainly get newer carts. Beware!
Best storage experience i’ve found in America. Judithe the manager was so helpful and made leaving the contents of my life there so easy and hassle free. The facility is clean and maintained and the access and location are great, always easy parking outside, trolleys and assistance!
I pretty much enjoyed every minute of service and storing since joining Public Storage with the wonderful helper, Ms. Judithe. Her personality and kindness is golden and just makes the experience here so much more better than all the other storage units my wife and I have had/don’t miss. This will definitely be a storage location and company to remember and recommend.

Stellar customer service from a woman named Judithe. I downsized from a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom to a loft in downtown WPB. It was an incredibly overwhelming move and I felt she could see that in my frustrations. She was so patient as she guided me through her suggestions. Honestly, I didn’t know what I was doing but she knew exactly what I needed. I had shopped around for a storage unit for days, but being that they were the cleanest and most knowledgeable I was sold! Generally positive. Space is good, reasonably priced, etc. Staff at the front is very helpful. BUT ONE NEGATIVE: they have this wonderful app you can download with the security code, wireless access, etc. EXCEPT IT DOESN’T WORK. I was told it’s a big for everyone, not just me. Why would you role out an app with a main feature that doesn’t work for all/most/many of your customers? A MAJOR ding on this point. FIX IT! Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for this.

Way too expensive when you consider the recent burglaries from some units and the low quantity of carts for moving items. Also some of the lowest-quality customer service you’ll find. What is that rent payment, which has ballooned since we started, going toward?

Call the number on the door that was supposed to be for that location instead I got corporate. Corporate gave me the direct number to the manager of that location and I called it and it went to a voicemail for the store. So if I make an appointment I show up and I can’t get in. You don’t answer your phone. You don’t deserve my business or anyone else’s .

Updated review: I had an issue with this Public Storage location and its lock-refund policy. Thankfully Ms. Judith quickly corrected the issue and completed my move-out quickly and efficiently. Equally, to further resolve my issue, the District Manager, Ben, went above and beyond to contact me and listen to my concern. While others may have perceived my issue as being minor, Ben took the matter seriously and took measures to make me feel heard as a consumer. I’m thoroughly impressed with the service from both Judith and Ben.

First I called and the woman on the phone have me storage 8x10 on Military Trail and I went there day before to take a look before I would put my furniture there ! It was a horror! I almost fainted! I called again and told them I don’t want that space. They told me to got to this location and said it’s a new building and I will like it! Yes! I absolutely like it! I am adding a photo of the storage! Super clean , working Ac and rolled up doors . The price was more than the first one but who cares . It’s 180$ with tax. And the manager Betty really went above and beyond to help me! She saw how big stressed I had !

Best storage facility by far
I have been using this location on 1301 Mercer Ave since January 2022. There’s an amazing lady I think she’s the manager her name is Judith has always been super helpful and always pleasant. I have seen her go out of her way to sort me out. I am not one to write reviews ever but I highly recommend this location. It’s clean and super secured and Judith met my expectations.
The manager, Aimee was fantastic. Aimee, showed us the location and was very helpful in guiding us to what we needed for our move. Very well kept areas Aimee and her team work well together. Thank you!

Awesome customer service provided by the manager James there. Not only did my husband and I get a reasonable deal, but we got good service as well. I suggest doing a reservation & filling out the necessary paperwork online so it goes quickly once at the store, as it did for us. When we arrived, just provided my information on file, and James took us to view the reserved unit. They have A/C, Security cameras throughout, and it's clean. BONUS: They provide flatbed carts for you at no cost! It was what we wanted so we went downstairs and finished up. Took about 15m total. James had also, suggested to download the Public Storage app, which I did as we wrapped up. The app is Awesome and User friendly! ❤💥 You can control opening the door through it, and provides all the necessary information to your account/unit. Thanks James for your assistance!
