All I have to say is that this location has a gem named Tonette Hill. She was very helpful in helping me solve my issue. In the end I saved money on my bill. Thank you.

The lady never answered us and was very rude on the phone. I don't recommend it. He hung up the phone and didn't answer us, and we were there for an hour from 5 pm. and the office never opened.

Do not rent from here, it is a scam and the facility is disgusting and filthy. Terrible experience, terrible customer service. Facility is extremely dark, unsecured, and unsafe. Lights take forever to come on in the hallways, easy to get mugged or robbed. Don't store your property here, go down the street to U-Haul on sample. They have a clean facility and excellent customer service, I moved in same day after this terrible experience for only the insurance fee, which was only $11.00. I had made a reservation for check-in on Friday October 18th at 11:00 AM. I called to reschedule because I was running a bit behind moving. If you call the number for the on-site office, no-one ever answers. I called at least ten times yesterday. I had to call corporate to get routed to speak to someone. When I spoke to onsite staff, I was informed that there would be a staff member to assist me and complete check-in on the property until 5:00 P.M EST. I arrived around 3:30, no-one was onsite to assist me. I had to call corporate twice to receive instructions on how to reserve a unit. There is a first month promo for $1.00, with a $29.00 admin fee (so $30.00 in total). Since no-one was onsite, finding the unit was impossible. We drove around the property for about 15 minutes (while on the phone with a customer service representative MANAGER) trying to locate the unit. This is why I wanted onsite assistance. We finally find the confusing unit 20 minutes later. The unit I was assigned (0013) was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The entire storage facility clearly has an infestation of rats and other vermin. Rat droppings were everywhere, and dead roaches and insects. The hallways are pitch black and the lights take forever to turn on. It is difficult to locate your unit, very dark, easy to get injured or robbed and run into trouble. extremely dangerous facility. I felt very unsafe and was glad I had my firearm. The unit appeared to be water damaged as well, with stains on the wall and a very strong pungent mildew smell. The unit was dirty, it appears no-one even tried to clean it to prepare it to rent out. There was also a disgusting rotted piece of board laid out on the ground. Each unit should have a lock inside for the renter to use to lock the unit. There was no lock inside the unit. I called customer service and was hung up on twice. The customer service representatives were dismissive and disrespectful. They informed me they could not refund me the administrative fee ($29.00) because it is non refundable, even though I did not even move anything into the unit and decided to cancel my reservation because it was so disgusting, which was no fault of mine. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, disgusting facility.. Don't store your property here, go down the street to U-Haul on sample. They have a clean facility and excellent customer service, I moved in same day after this terrible experience for only the insurance fee, which was $11.00.

Rates are going up service is going down. Noone at the office and gate is not working. Don't forget about mice and flooding, and closed bathrooms at all times

They will lure you in by showing a good price and then they double it..Noone as in the office all the time sometimes gate doesn't work..Random people are inside riding bikes. Seems like they do everything to get as much money as they can disregarding your needs. If you have better option go with it

The customer service here was amazing compared to a month prior. It feels like a whole different store. The guy here really helped me out!

I have never had such a terrible experience with a storage unit just to keep items. My sister and I both have items here I am moving out by end of day tomorrow. However, my sister is unable to do so. She rented a unit inside that should be cool and dry. The unit is hot, and her items are damaging from the excessive heat and it's not officially summer. She requested a transfer and was instructed to pay a transfer fee when she is not transferring willingly. She called the MAYORS OFFICE AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA REGULATIONS DEPARTMENT. DO NOT RENT HERE. THERES NO ONE TO ASSIST. THE ONLY DECENT PERSON TIFFANY QUIT. The so-called property managers they hired are absolutely no help if there ever there. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH YOUR BELONGINGS THE DISCOUNT IS A LURE YOU WILL GET CHARGED AN INCREASLY LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY ONCE IT EXPIRES.

I would highly recommend anyone to rent from this specific storage facility and heres why... I recently rented a storage unit from this Public Storage on 5150 W Copans Road, back on a Sunday, the 7th of April. When I got there I had the pleasure of speaking with and obtaining help from Kerrie. She is wonderful employee, very professional, knowledgeable and is someone who truly cares about her job and her customers. She went above and beyond to help me out during a very low point and a stressful time in my life! I also want to give Noel a huge shout out as well. I just came by the storage facility to put some items inside my unit and I forgot Kerrie's name because it's been close to a month since I've had this unit. I described her and Noel helped me out tremendously. The second employee here that went above and beyond for me. He even waited patiently while I went through my text messages to find out the excat day I had received my unit. In the past, I had never rented from Public Storage, due to their special lock that you have to purchase woth the rental (which put me off years ago because of this). However, this location in particular, at 5150 W Copans Road, truly has some remarkable, knowledgable, great customer service, dedicated and professional employees who genuinely care about their profession and the people they come into contact with daily. Which is a hard thing to come by this day and age! Thank you both very much! I truly appreciate you guys!

Worst customer service in the world from Brianna. I will outline my experience so you can fully experience how horrible this person is, the way that I did. First I came into the gate and couldn't find my unit. I drove around the entire place and I still couldn't find it. I also had to use the bathroom so I went to go use the bathroom. It was locked. I looked around for an employee. I found Brianna. She was walking around with the cleaning cart, on her phone, not cleaning, and I almost didn't realize she was an employee, since I clearly needed help but she was in her own world, but who else would be walking around with a cleaning cart. I asked her for help finding my unit. I also asked her for the bathroom key. Like I said, she was walking around with the cleaning cart, blatantly not cleaning. She gave me some unclear instructions on finding the unit. And she said she "needed to find the bathroom key." She did not proceed to begin looking for said key, whole time i had to use the bathroom. It was clear she wasn't going to help me, so I called my aunt who is a property manager at another public storage, literally the only reason I am using this place. It took about 10 or 15 mins talking to my aunt before she came and opened the bathroom for me, at this point I'm just irritated, I've had to pee, and had to find the unit myself and I was speaking on the phone to my aunt about this horrible experience and Brianna decides she needed to join the conversation and I told her to shut up because I had it with her. If my aunt was not a property manager at another location she would not have even opened the bathroom for me. So I really didn't care what she had to say. I've worked in customer service since I was 17 years old, If I was going to sit there and be rude and not do my job i just bounce and go home because I'm not a rude nasty, visibly miserable, and lazy person like Brianna is. I was extremely polite to her up to the point I realized she literally is going to not do her job so I tried my best to ignore her and do what I have to do but I had to pee. I had to end up using the bathroom at a gas station, after I am paying for a storage at this place which it's fine If there's no bathroom, but then why tf do I have to deal with someone like Brianna. I am already stressed from moving and this is the worst customer service I've ever had from a storage place, and I know my aunt is nothing like this, but I will never come to public storage ever again because of this horrible experience. Even though I would get a discount, there's no discount worth such a horrible human interaction that has ruined my day. Briana should find a job as an insurance agent since she is so evil and loves denying people basic necessities they already paid to use. My experience would have been 100% better if she was not there.

0 stars would be more accurate. Rent a space for 100, they raise the price to 175 within 2 months, then 225 on the 4th month while still advertising and renting units for 100. They think you are stuck with their prices. Rude staff too. The autopay charged my card 5 times one month. I had to stop 3 times before they would issue the credit, all the time they were too busy. The gate doesn't work half the time and the wifi feature to open the gate from my phone hardly ever works. The units leak water too. Its a horrible place to keep your belongings safe.

I just rented a unit and it’s disgusting. When we were leaving we saw a rat or a mouse and other ppl were complaining about it too along with roaches. I’m seriously considering moving all my stuff out asap. Shouldn’t have to worry about vermin and roaches for the amount of money I’m spending. Why is there no monthly extermination?!? I already filed a complaint to the BBB.

So after constant back-and-forth with customer service I decided to walk in and just set up a storage unit. Tiffany, the property manager was beyond amazingly helpful, super patient, informative, and tentative. Tiffany is the only person you should be talking to about your storage needs. She made it painless and straightforward to reserve and find the right size unit for my family. I initially went in to get a 10 x 10 unit but with how friendly and easy the situation was and Tiffany's amazing customer service, i ended up going with a 10 x 25 size unit. Will 100% always go to her for all my questions and needs from now on. Public storage could use more amazing people like her, well really any company does.

The woman that works in the office, Tiffany, is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! She has been EXTREMELY helpful in dealing with ANY issues or concerns that I have had. She ALWAYS makes sure to provide the best possible answer. The tenants at this location are absolute PIGS! EVERYDAY I am there, before Tiffany arrives to work, I find screws, glass, garbage, boxes, exc. by my unit. I have watched her NUMEROUS TIMES picking up after these PIGS! It is NOT her mess, but still MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!! Roaches. Been renting a space for nearly a year now and I come to the storage space every month and the roaches got into my storage (there is a gap on the top of the the neighboring walls so we all suffer from the infestation). Bigger and bigger roaches even time

Rip Off Don't ever sign up as they will screw you from day one. They will hit you with every fee they can and shortly after you have moved in the rate will be increased arbitrarily as there is no cap to the increases. This is the worst storage provider I have ever had to deal with.

They are the worst rip off in the storage industry. They advertise a rate that you will never get as they will hit you with additional fees and a mandatory insurance. After 3 or 4 months they will increase the rate by 40% while still advertising the same space at the rate you signed up. Customer service will tell you they can increase the rate by any amount as it is month to month and there are no caps on increases. To get the cheaper advertised rate you will have to terminate, vacate, sign a new contract and you can move in again. ... well, after 3 to 4 months they will screw you again. Bad business habits and manners. Public storage never again.

Manager of store was very kind and helpful, she showed me the unit and did all the paperwork real quick. I’m happy to get my storage today.

I rented a unit space that did not have lighting as it was hard to find my belongings. I spoke with Tiffany who is very lovely who made numerous attempts to have maintenance replace it. After several weeks I was contacted by corporate that they are not replacing light bulbs and allowing "nature to take its course". So in other words they are making budget cuts and starting with their electric bill. I was advised to bring a flash light or pull my things into the hallway. Very poor customer service the worst part they never informed their own employees of these changes. I do not plan to use them in the future once I retrieve all my belongings. Also at times they have no one physically there to help you. They only want your money.

It's a storage space that serve its purpose but In just one year my rates has gone up 3 times. I went from paying $151 to $184 to now $215 for a tiny 5X10. I think that price is obserd. Especially when we're trying to make ends meet. It's time to put that money into getting a 10x14 shed. Smh.

My unit wasn’t exactly what I had expected but Curtisha was extremely helpful and patient in answering all of my questions. I really appreciated her attention and professionalism because moving is so stressful as it is.

My storage unit is easily accessible, but most of the drive up spaces have narrow access “roads”. Also zero ceiling insulation with a metal roof and it will get HOT in the non-climate controlled units.

I rented this place out through the no contact way on the website. I got in ok. Put some boxes in but couldn't figure out the key thing. I should've gone to the front desk but I was tired and took a risk to go home to bring back more stuff... Someone robbed me and thats not their fault BUT they have NO CAMERAS here so rob away I guess because even if I do file a police report they'll never be able to figure out who did it because cameras don't reach the back. They put l them only in the front. I don't even know what I lost but this is a fair warning to anyone else to know there is no real security here. Anyone can rent a spot. Wait. Rob away and get away with it because they apparently won't be able to see in the back. Good luck... Im posting this in hopes that the owner does the right thing and adds more security. Not leaving anything of too much importance here.

There is no way this place should receive anything higher than a 2 star. It serves its purpose of "storing things" but this location is the last place you ever want to be. The 5150 W Copans Road in Margate, FL looks like an old abandoned warehouse that's been run-down and deserted. Rodents and cockroaches fill the interior hallways and when outside, you feel like you're going to get snatched and thrown into a white rusted out van. Also one person works (maybe) and when I visited, they were out for lunch for over an hour. I was left stranded as my gate code didn't work on the inside and had to wait for the lawn service person to eventually open it. Find a different location!!!
