Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 5005 W 80th Ave, Westminster, CO

This location is much better in every way compared to the many other storage locations ive used over the last couple years. Also, 5 stars for Chris being so understanding and kind and very helpful.

Mike and CJ are outstanding. I’ve been at this location for a year now and my bill went up. I called with my concerns and Mike was trying to do everything possible to help me out. He had me come in the next day while CJ was working and move 1 unit over. I went in, CJ got me all set up in minutes and then i moved my stuff and now i’m paying less than i was paying before the rent increase in the last unit. This customer service is what’s needed in such a hard economy because the 2 of them worked hard to get me something without giving up. Thanks to both of you so much!

Once again, Chris was really great. I’ve been renting here for a few years now and he’s always friendly. Whether it’s just a wave or stopping to chitchat, he always seems to remember a little bit about me over the years. He’s help me get my lot cut off and made renting here much easier..

I gave this Public Storage a five star because every time I show up, there’s always somebody in the office no matter morning noon or evening every time I make a phone call if there’s no answer because they’re out in the storage area making their rounds, they return my call within 30 minutes if you have questions and concerns they always have to right answers.And shout out to Chris he’s always there He’s very helpful and he answers all your questions. and if you don’t, I’ll get an answer for you even if he hast to go to his computer .

Overcharged me so we had to move storage units halfway through the month and now they won't even give me some Money back. Also never answer phone calls or are never in the office. Worst place to put stuff in storage unit

When I first checked in they gave me a unit with someone's stuff already in it, so not a great first impression... Bring your waders when it rains because there is no drainage on site. Had to drive around a lake in the middle of the parking lot. There's usually trash on site and never anyone working.... Also, prices shoot up 30% with no warning. I realize thats how these places do business but it's disgusting they are allowed to get away with this practice. Rope people in with the old bait and switch tactic.

I love this place, it is very safe. We had a problem with our lock and they helped us quickly. I love the ease way of having the application and being able to enter with a code .

I am in tears. How can they ethically do these price increases!? I rented my unit at $294, and it got up to $398 after 7 months. And I look at it today, and now it's at $455 after only another 6 months. What in the world!? How much higher will it go!? I don't recommend public storage to anyone! This is not the first time this has happened, but it's never been this bad. I was so distraught that when I saw the price, I accidently hit the pay button, and it drained my account! I'm truly in a low place because of them right now. They have no remorse either, and just simply don't care. I can never get a hold of the property manager either. I'm going to be sharing this with everyone. Truly despicable!

Definitely know that my belongings are completely safe at this facility. Accidently left my lock off for a couple days and nobody broke in to my storage. Plus the on site manager is completely understanding when life things that are out of your control happens. Very helpful and very polite. you just can't be there after 9 pm that's a big NoNo. But Totally worth the piece of mind that's all my belongings are safe and great there. I would give them a 10 out of 10 stars.

Was interested in this location so reserved online. Property manager, Christopher, calls to touch base and we set an appointment for the next morning so I can look at the unit and get information before I decide. Show up for the appointment, granted I was 5 minutes late because it had snowed over night, never the less no one is there. Call the number the manager called from, no answer, so I leave a message. Call customer service and they hang up on me when they transfer me to customer service. Call back and speak to someone else and get transferred again, spoke to CS and she tries to call the manager. No answer for her either. She explains the way they do business and outright says there is no guarantee on the rates and the unit is subject to rate increases at any time. I ask if they will increase rates without notice and she says yes. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT with these clowns. They can’t show up for appointments they make and raise your rates when ever they feel like it. Read the other reviews if you don’t believe me.

Chris is the best, but the lady in the morning is always late and has you wait even longer to open up.

This is my 2nd time using Public Storage in the last 3 years. The eRent process is pretty good and fairly easy to follow and understand and get a storage unit and access reasonable and quick. Access hours are good range starting at 6 AM and ending at 9 PM. Of course it is subject to change and is set and managed by the on site management. I had my second unit the next morning including the rental agreement, insurance, access code for the gate and a lock for the unit. Move out can be scheduled as far in advance as 60 days or as soon as 1 day. I would suggest that a broom be available at move in and move out as you don't know how it is going to be when you move in and it lets you be good user and have it reasonable clean for the next renter. I couldn't give five stars because the last unit was not clean and I had to store my things without sweeping it and it did cause some damage to my mattresses as well as caused everything to become covered in a very fine powdery black dust. However, my first time the unit was swept but a different location. I still would recommend Public Storage and bring a broom.

Chris is the best employee I’ve ever experienced at public storage. He has been so wonderful and kind and goes above and beyond every time we see him. Me and my fiancé are super grateful his impeccable customer service. We’ve never had such a wonderful experience with public storage before till him. Thanks for being so awesome!!

I had a great experience with Public Storage. I rented a 10x20 space thinking that would fit my vehicle but it ended up being a little short. They upgraded my space to the 24 foot length so I would have no problem and I only had to pay the difference. They gave me no hassle and I really appreciated them working with me. Very nice people. Highly recommend!

9/20/2022 UPDATE: I am once again renting from PS at 80th and Sheridan. Chris has been wonderful. I hadn't been into my unit in a while and I could not get the key to work. Chris happened to be near by. He went all the way back to the office to verify I was at the correct unit. He then lubricated the lock and tried to unlock. No luck; I must have the wrong key. Chris helped me find a less expensive option to get into my unit without having to call a locksmith (I didn't need to get in immediately). I really appreciate his help! Chris is also very friendly and personable. He's easy to talk to and is very knowledgeable about the property and Public Storage. I really enjoy working with Chris. Chris, thanks for always being there and helping me! J Cindy has been extremely helpful in helping identify the size of storage unit I needed and what else would be helpful (covers for furniture, dryer cloths to repel bugs, etc.). She is friendly and always willing to help. Cindy is also very personable and easy to talk to. Additionally, when I made my reservations online, Cindy called me promptly to confirm the unit/s I needed and setting up time to meet. My interaction with Jessica has been more limited. However, she was very friendly and flexible in meeting me to do the paperwork on the second unit I rented. The units are very clean and ready to move in; I strongly recommend this facility to anyone needing extra space in the north area.

For anybody thinking about using public storage do not!!!!. They are insanely money hungry and every six months they are going to increase your price whether you like it or not . I’ve been a loyal customer of theirs for almost 10 years and they would never lock me into a price I am done with them and tired of being bent over and being taken of my hard earned money for their greediness.

It was a really simple process.
