Clean & accessible
I've had my storage for a little over 2 years and so far I am just very satisfied with my storage unit but not just my storage unit but also the workers. This public storage is it very quiet and nice location. It is very clean always employees walking around doing their job. Whenever I need assistance or help or any questions Craig is always there to help me. You can tell that man really cares for the people and his job. The ratings speak for themselves.
Craig is the one of the best person I have meet in the storage spaces , I run a hauling and furniture liquidation company,I usually rent out storages a lot in Santa Clara and Sanjose , But among all the staff I meet they are just a employees not helping customer needs , Craig was 2000% perfect at his job , the way he maintain the entire store is very good, in a simple terms just like his home ,

This place is easily the best storage place me and my husband have used and the mánager Craig is always súper friendly and always helpful. SO attentive to all our needs!
Imagine going to your storage unit the day before you have to fly out the next morning yo get something DURING WEEKDAY ACCESS HOURS and the storage is “currently closed”. I also saw a man go into the office as I pulled up so someone was there but just refused to entertain my knocks on the door. I called every number and no one answered.

It's been a couple of months I'm using the storage and I have seen two other occupants complain about theft. The gate was also rammed up by some one and it was repaired almost after a month.
The hours are brutal. Closed at 5 on a sunday??? You can’t access your storage unit when they are closed. Dumb system that needs fixing.

This is the best and well managed public storage I’ve ever been to. I’ve rented at a few public storages in California and honestly overall it has been a great experience. But Craig at this location goes above and beyond. He is super helpful, responsive, and available. I had an urgent issue with one of my locks and he was able to help me out really fast. I've had a large unit rental since 2012 (10×25'). It's a good place, even though only a bit pricey ( now it's $950/ month)🙁 Only problem is that I live in Bethel Island (which happens to be about 50 miles away. ) I had to use this place because after my father passed away, he had lived in a 2300 square ft house with alot of furniture. I'd like to donate most of it to someone like Salvation Army or St Vincent de Paul. UPDATE: I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the help of Craig & his staff. They will do everything possible to help their clients' satisfaction! Such an excellent place!

We rented a storage unit at the Laurelwood location for a few years. The unit was very clean, it's a great location and the staff is extremely helpful. The property manager, Craig, is very friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I definitely recommend this location.
Guarded and key-in gates.. pretty typical for a storage facility. All outdoor, and I saw lights so I'd assume it was well lit after dusk. Reasonable sized shop for probably all your last minute moving needs.

So I have been using this public storage for a couple years now...I know, I know.... it's a bit long and i probably could have sold and repurchased everything however I wanted to mention a couple of things... First off I have been dealing with Craig since the start and he has been nothing but cool as can be to deal with. Every time I'm in there and see Craig he makes it a point to come say hello to me. I know it's not much however in today's climate it's nice when people go out of their way to say hello and ask you how things are going. We make small talk and enjoy each other's conversations and then go on about our day. This past weekend I was in there and bumped into a new friendly face named Darcy. I needed some help with my unit and Darcy was as well nothing but a pleasure to deal with. She listened, was attentive and overall went above and beyond for me. I just felt like saying thank you so much to the both of them as it's good humans like them that will keep me coming back! Craig and Darcy, keep up the stellar work you guys do for public storage. I feel like you are both an asset to the spot!
I spoke with Julia at Lafayette and she helped me out with a situation I had and I needed another unit. I just got back into town and This location was closed. When I spoke to Julia. She had mentioned that I would be speaking with Darcy. She was on her way from another location. Darcy was super helpful and patient with what I needed.
