I had a situation that ended up going well. Fortunate enough to have dealt with Kelli regarding my unit. I've used storage facilities while in the military, and it's been my means of moving without hesitation! This is a clean, well maintained facility with 24-hour surveillance on grounds.

Jordyn was so sweet and kind! I came in after closing and she was able to help me out with getting my storage unit (:

Continuous large rate increases , bathroom access was seldom available, holes in walls , hard to lift access doors , brittle and worn fiberglass rope to pull doors down will shed fiberglass all over you. At one time I had 5 mostly extra large units, if rates were reasonable, I would have considered staying .

It's time people understand the risks and potential losses of using these facilities. This facility has there monitors down for 4 months. Don't believe me? Ask them yourself and make sure you record their response as evidence. THEY LIED TO MY FACE!!!! On 3/3, I rented a parking spot at the back of this Public Storage facility located on Folsom Blvd in Sacramento, CA, for my 4*6 trailer; $5500 value, which I used for my business that I had just started. The facility is gated and equipped with surveillance cameras that are purportedly operational 24/7. However, on 4/6, when I went to retrieve my trailer, it was missing, along with all the equipment. Upon inquiry at the office, they were unaware of the situation. Surprisingly, they informed me that the surveillance monitors were not functioning, although they assured me that they should have the footage. They stated they would release the footage to the police along with any necessary details. On 4/8, I received a call from the police informing me that they had contacted the facility for the footage. Unfortunately, they were informed that the monitors are still not operational. The facility promised to notify the police as soon as the monitors are functional. 4/9, monitors still not functional. 4/10, monitors still not functional. I emailed corporate and no answer yet. 4/12, I spoke to the area manager and he said they will get it fixed NEXT WEEK. This screams negligence and potentially an inside job. 4/13 monitors are still not functional. 4/16 still no update and not a single detail of the incident has been released yet. It’s extremely troubling to know that your livelihood has been stolen without any information on how it happened. It’s important to note that fixing a monitor is not a complicated issue, unless there are other factors involved. Then, I found out from another person that their stuff got stolen in December and until now they don't have any footage mon how it happened. I am really eager to know how the thief entered the facility in a car, broke my wheel lock, and got out of the facility. While I understand nobody should be responsible for someone else's crime, the lack of information provided about the theft for 10 days is concerning. This situation raises suspicions, and I urge the local police to conduct a thorough investigation to determine if there is any pattern indicating a larger problem, like an inside job? I have several questions that I believe could help uncover any potential patterns: How many theft incidents have occurred at this specific location? How many theft incidents have occurred at Public Storage facilities overall? How many victims were insured, and how many were not? Have any of these incidents been resolved or solved? If you care about your valuables, STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY.

I really like this LIFE storage. It's clean but I don't like the dirt that gets blown under the door into my storage unit however it IS the most effectual way of getting job done. Today though, there was an angry man who was trying to access his unit (who I am going to assume) but couldn't get into it and was yelling on his cell inside the property. Then finally exiting the property, he continued to yell into his phone angrily walking to front office doors supposedly talking to a Life rep....finally left! I believe he was trying to access his unit and was locked out because of payment issues. Kinda scarey. (2021) Tonight was even more scarey!! Found an open storage unit (2222) 1/4 way open and was stuffed with trash!! Saw male and female sneaking out. Were they sleeping in our three story, indoor, fenced with digital entrance that breaks down from the tenants propping sliding glass door open and unhoused transients prying the glass doors open. I spoke with employee and no amends to this matter as of yet. There should be an overnight employee for this purpose otherwise it isn't as secure as I thought?!

Friend has a storage unit here, seems pretty safe given the location but public storage requires each unit to have their own entrance gate code that you have to use to enter AND exit as well as your own personal lock for your storage unit.. we've been over there twice with our friend and it's always pretty much just us there as far as you can tell. They're at or close to capacity but it's not a super busy in and out place, which our friend appreciates.
