Company tries to take every last red cent they can. Only one employee on site. Often seen slowly walking through facilities. If you cancel your contract it’s same day no prorated amount will be reimbursed. They try to bill you weeks before the bill is due. Will not go with public storage again. Go with another company like store quest.

We rented storage space at the Public Storage Self-Storage facility located at 10701 Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. What a tremendous, well-maintained and professionally managed storage facility! We rented an environmentally-controlled 10-ft x 15-ft space for about 7 months to store all items in our garage while it underwent renovations. Our stuff were kept safe and sound and we never once worried about the effects of excessive heat, the possibility of water damage, or the risk of theft. The Public Storage facility is immaculate and their business model is top-notch. They are a well-oiled machine with friendly and helpful customer service during normal business hours. Christian is the best! The Public Storage iPhone App is also beautifully-designed with everything you need at your fingertips including remote access of the security gate as you enter and exit the facility. You should not hesitate to use this Public Storage facility.

I was looking for a big storage (10×20) with climate control. This was the only one that I found that was very reasonably priced. Signing the contract was easy and all online. I got a text with the gate code on my move in day. Love that they have an app to open the doors and gates! It was easy to move in and even easier to pop back in during the week as needed.

The place is really nice and clean, the staff are friendly and professional. But we were forced move out because the rent was increased to a level where we couldn't afford it anymore. We moved into a climate controlled 10x20 unit because they had a really good deal where the unit at Public Storage was cheaper than the 10x15 at our previous storage place. Of course I knew the price included a temporary discount and they were going to raise the rent eventually, so I asked how long that discount was good for, and I was told "if it gets too high, we'll work with you to keep the rent down". Well, as it turns out, they "worked with us" exactly once, after 3 months, and that was it. The rent increased twice after that and by the time we were there for a year, the rent was going to be ALMOST TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE than when we moved in. So we checked out the other storage places in the area and found out that for the same price, we could rent twice as much storage space and have money left over, so moving out was an easy decision.

Christian was helpful and was able to get me into the perfect size unit. I appreciate his knowledge and kindness when doing the rental. Highly recommend others to store here.

Clean facility and helpful staff. I have been a customer for a year and have always had a great experience and question always answered in a professional way. Location is very convenient for my use and easy to get in and out of without any hassle. The manager, Christian, is the best I already have a unit at the location and needed to downsize Christian took the time to explain to me how a transfer works from one unit to another and it happened without a hitch. When I was looking to move to a smaller unit Christian took the time to see what I had in my current unit and suggested the next size that would work for my needs. This location has given me the best customer service that I have ever received from a storage facility. I have been renting 2 spaces for some time now. In an effort to save money, Kaydi suggested I look at another unit. As we discussed my situation Kaydi was not only attentive to my needs, but a pleasure to speak with. The Rancho Cucamonga Public Storage location is awesome! The storage units are clean and prices are most affordable than most all of the other storage companies in Rancho. Dylan the (office staff) was very friendly, professional and courteous and did an excellent job of finding me the right storage space within my budget and helped me with the sign up process. I initially was uncertain if I wanted to store my belongings, as I’ve never had to keep them elsewhere. However, the facility was secure and safe. There was no one present when I arrived, although they were clearly open. I called the number in the door, the CSR was helpful and soon enough Christian appeared after he completed his routine locker checks of the facility. He cheerfully greeted me and his professional demeanor immediately made me feel calm and help me realize my belongings were going to be safe. He made the experience easy, explained everything and walked me through each step to ensure I would not have any issues. Highly recommend.

I called Public Storage today to get an issue resolved regarding my unit. Christian was extremely helpful and informative. He assessed my current unit that I have and determined I could easily move down in size of unit and save a lot of money. As a customer I so appreciate that he looks out for his customers. Aside from the efficiency and cleanliness of the property compared to others I’ve used in the past I needed to come on and review how sweet and helpful the property manager was! Having little experience with Public Storage in the first place Christian made it easy to understand and reassuring to move forward with deciding this place.

It's an Oustanding location, but it's because of the great Customer Service rep. Christian. During an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT Financial time-great loss this young man made the whole process easy to walk through- His knowledge and proactive follow through to assist & help us was undeniably a bit of a life saver. Fantastic experience yesterday very helpful staff

Went into this public storage about a week ago. To get some information how everything works and what the cost of the unit would run. First time renting a unit, got a great help from Christian who is the property manger. Really helpful and knowledgeable person when it comes to knowing the break down of the prices and how to get you the best price. Even though I got the unit at other public storage location. It worked out because he ran a locate and got me a better price. For that I am thankful because he could of taken the sale there but went above and beyond to get the best price.

When I came back to put in more stuff into my storage i was shocked to see someone had already been in my storage. With two locks on the door how they were able to open my storage is beyond my belief ,even though one of the locks they force you to buy and the second one was mine…called the district manager he finally got back to me 4 days later. I will be going back to see who else has been in my storage or what is stolen…wish me luck

They change the price of your unit without notice too much. I went from 300 dollars a month to 536, that's robbery. What is a person supposed to do especially when they have cancer and is in and out of the hospital? There should be a cap on how much they can charge a person or once you are a unit, that price is your price for the remainder of the term. This is ridiculous.

Facility was clean and organized. The employee that helped me, Christian, was very thorough and kind. He was very knowledgeable and empathized with my situation.

Renters Beware: Public Storage is quite cleaver in how they offer only month to month rentals…no annual contracts. By doing so they will consistently raise rents within 6 to 9 months and continue the pattern moving forward. Their teaser move-in rate quickly evaporates with steady consistent increases. They raised my rent an additional $95/mo within 6 months, which is an excessive 30% increase! They are literally forcing my hand to find another, more affordable storage facility. My advice is if you plan on renting for more than 6 months, find a smaller independent storage facility and lock in an annual contract. Many times they are more flexible than a larger corporation like Public Storage and are more willing to hold rents at the same rate for more than 12 months. And… if there is an increase it’s reasonable and much more manageable…

You can't access your own storage any time you need to. They provide poor maintenance to their gate access technology. Can they not afford an IT person?

**** Oops… Something I forgot to mention in my last post, that was a real irritant. I was NEVER NOTIFIED of the Increase in rent. The way I discovered the increase was when I went to make my credit card payment. As I checked out my charges was when I noticed my Public Storage monthly rate had increased. That is NOT a REASONABLE method of conducting business. The old saying is true ***“Buyer Beware” **** Public Storage will lure you in with an attractive price (don’t buy into it!!) to capture your business but shortly thereafter they will hit you with a substantial monthly price increase and you will be hit with these increases frequently. In August 2022 our rent was $237.00/month 9 months later (May 2023) they upped our rent to $331.00/month. I even asked corporate if they would hold my rent at the lower amount for more than 9 months (hoping for the normal period of 12 month) , with in less than 24 hours they came back with an emphatic NO. Consequently I am going to have to find another storage company who will not try to take full advantage of us. I have NEVER had a storage company raise my rent in less than a year and many would not raise it even at the year anniversary. STAY CLEAR of Public Storage… look for a smaller privately owned facility… they are more apt to work with you.

I noticed only reviews with 5 stars receive owner comments so I won’t expect to hear from the owner of PS. I started at $99 for a 9x10. It went up as high as $260. They reduced it to $180. Moving out. This is highway robbery for empty space. Inflation could not have caused this type of increase.

They lock you out of your storage when you have a late fee which is illegal in the state of California , they inform you full balance has to be paid to stop auction when that’s not legal you just need to pay your rent. My mother in law been storing since 2008 and there are these policies that they never informed me when I moved in.

Super friendly staff, the place is clean and well secured. Going through the gates without having to get out of the car (using their Android/iphone app) is convenient. We rented here before but now we're back because we could get a good deal on a unit that's 50 sqft bigger than our previous unit elsewhere, and inside, and climate controlled, and only 2 dollars more.

It was all great until we got broken into and 5 months later the “footage” cannot be found. Yes they give great prices yes they are friendly. But never help if your values ped get stolen. they give you the run around “oh I’ll check”. They have had numerous break in but they don’t post that of course. And there was a whole investigation but all they did was give you a new lock free for their error on surveillance. And put up more cameras that don’t get monitored 24/7.
