I like to give a five-star rating to Jackie who works at the 2656 sunrise Boulevard public storage in Sacramento california. I asked if there's any kind of way that she can reduce my rental, she conducted a market price comparison and reduced my monthly rental from $153.00 to $122. Then she further assisted me and conducted a search online for a 5 by 5 rentals and found one for $45

I reserved a unit online. When we got there it had a lock on it. I called to speak with a live agent who gave me another unit. We got in that unit. They wanted to charge me but I disagreed as it wasn't my fault. To avoid the fee I had to go there when the staff came in to fix it. She was rude and tried to charge me again because I didn't move my things in the unit when I reserved. I refused again as it wasn't my fault. The store manager waived the fee. The customer strive on the phone was good but in person was not. Location is on Sunrise in Rancho Cordova, Ca

I rented here 8 months my storage was due 1st of each month never late on payment. Go to clear out my storage on 1st of month and was still charged for the next month why? This is a total rip off and makes for bad business. Plus my items had mold from water damage. I won't recommend this stowage physicality to anyone.

I just want to thank the new office manager, Brianna for all of her help today. I was going to vacate the premises due to the rising cost of storage fees, and she asked me why I was leaving, and when I told her, that I could not afford the rising cost of the storage rent she went above and beyond to get me a little bit smaller of a unit for half the price. It’s only 2 foot smaller than the unit I just emptied and yet it was just about half the price. I am a Very happy customer.

I was just wrapping up moving and wanted to see if I could find a storage space last minute. Five minutes until closing, a little desperate, and exhausted. Breanna greeted me kindly to say the least. She clearly Explained the availability, pricing, and different unit sizes. Extremely helpful. I looked at my watch and asked her what time they closed, Breanna said “we closed 10 minutes ago.” After many apologies and deciding that I wanted the unit, which was a screaming deal comparatively, She calmly proceeded by asking if I wanted to view the unit. She went home at least a half an hour late that night. Need I say more. That’s Real customer service!! I’d give PS Rancho six stars if I could! Fully Recommended.

The storage industry is such a racket. Beware. I was happy to find a 5”x”8 storage unit at Public Storage advertised for for $82. I reserved it by phone and got an emailed reservation stating that total move in cost would be $121. Once you get there in person, however, you’re forced to buy their insurance (which I neither wanted or needed) as well as purchase a lock (as the desk attendant strongly advised against us using our own padlock, and we felt rather cornered). It’s worth mentioning that I also had to pay $28 prorated rate for the extra week before the month. I need the unit for 5 total weeks. I paid $186.07. I just want people to know that when you see the posted price for the unit, tack on another $100 or so to know what you’ll actually be paying.
Well, if you your rent to be jacked up $16.00 every year, then you will like doing business with this company. I have a 10'x10' space that I have had for 15+ years. My rent started out at $75.00 a month and now I am paying $250.00 a month. Looking at the price of Public Storage in big metropolitan cities such as New York and San Francisco, I am paying $70.00 more a month for the same storage size. Funny, but I didn't think Rancho Cordova was considered a high cost of living area. Either way, the rent they charge is outrageous for what you get and i'll be moving my stuff out soon.
UPDATE: LOL! The only 'type' of response that can be given that doesn't address why the prices are so high, is the canned response. What a joke! How about telling me why the "high standards" you set for yourself justifies the outrageous prices I am paying in comparison to many larger cities? Should be pretty easy to answer.
