A very clean, organized and safe storage facility in large part because the manager John is invested in the property in a meaningful way. The other employees are also friendly and helpful.
Public Storage company itself, will raise your rates significantly every 6 months in my experience, but that is largely out of the control of the employees.

This is the best storage facility I've ever used. In large part thanks to the amazing property manager, John. He's a game changer, one time a wind storm took the tarp off my trailer and he put it back on and texted me to let me know that some of my bungee broke and that he replaced them with rope. He's always going above and beyond the call of duty to keep everything clean and secure.
The facilities are always spotless and the neighborhood is very safe.

I recently visited this Public Storage location and was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. As soon as I stepped onto the premises, I could tell this was different from other Public Storage facilities I've been to in the past.
The grounds were spotless and the entire area had a sense of organization and care that is often lacking at self-storage facilities. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service provided by the employee I interacted with, John.
From the moment I walked in, John was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist me. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of my rental options, answered all of my questions patiently, and made the rental process quick and easy. This is my second time renting a space in HB off Bolsa. I came back because John, who runs the place is helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He takes great care of the facility and always has a smile on his face. I feel very safe when I'm there.

Public storage
As a first time storage customer I had a lot of misgivings. I’ve heard lots of horror stories about grimy conditions, theft, pests, leaks and non-existent customer service at storage facilities in general. Thankfully, I made Public Storage on Bolsa Ave. my first foray into rentals.
The place is immaculate . Security is obvious with, cameras, coded gates, doors and elevators. Very strictly enforced hours of operation and restricted elevator access to only the floor you rent from.
Probably best of all is the manager John and his assistant, Ackara. Both are helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Moving is stressful enough, so this is very much appreciated.
In fact, I made a cold call to the facility just to check things out before renting. John was out on maintenance patrol, saw me and gave me a detailed tour of the place. I’m on a strict budget and his direct, genuine interest in my rental requirements left me very impressed.
Having moved in, I realize that John is the real deal and not just trying to score a rental fee for PS. If all Public Storage facilities are operated this way, I’ll be a customer for life!
I decided to move here from EXTRA SPACE STORAGE were I've been overcharged for a while now. John was awesome and patient with me. And my 10x10 is locked up tight in the interior building. Feels like fort Knox in there. I know my items are good and secure. I highly recommend this location.

The manager of the 5566 Bolsa Ave facility, John, is one of the most generous and helpful service people I've come across. He's super generous with his time and provides personal attention over and above. He's also done a great job beefing up security at the facility. He's the reason I'll stay with this facility, was actually planning to move to another one, but I'll stay as long as John is running the place.
I have to add one caveat though, as with most national storage chains they routinely raise rates on your particular unit twice a year. I don't think this practice is fair and I hold it against the Public Storage corporation. Keep that in mind if you go with Public Storage, don't expect a long term solution, but fine for short term.
I needed the storage space for some furniture and other things while we moved from a small apartment to a mobile home. The staff at this facility were always very polite and professional in every way. The unit I had was just right for the items I needed to store.
The only negative I have is that they upped the rent $39 a month without warning. Otherwise, I was completely satisfied.
John has help me through this entire time. Can get better customer service like this
At Public Storage in Huntington Beach, California I experienced the best customer service with their employee Tammie that I have ever had! Tammie was extremely kind, attentive and continuously went above and beyond to make my experience at Public Storage enjoyable. Tammie was not only easy to work with while being a tenant at Public Storage but she also was there to answer any questions I may have had while moving out of my storage unit.
Tammie is an angel and a complete gem, any company would be blessed to have her as an employee! Thank you Tammie for showing such kindness, professionalism and always going above and beyond for me!

This is the best Public Storage by far! I went to several locations looking for a Storage Unit but what sold me on this location was the Manager Tammie (I think she’s the manager..and if she’s not...she should be) Tammie was professional, humorous and very knowledgeable which makes her the package deal and makes the customer service experience for this Public storage location amazing!

I am so thoroughly satisfied with public storage! I moved from LA and it went so much smoother than I imagined. Their pricing is better than anywhere else in the area, their online rental process is so easy, they are transparent with policies and pricing, and most importantly they are responsive and helpful. Tammie, the office manager, was so kind and helpful! The day I moved in I realized that I had rented furniture blankets rather than purchased - and Tammie offered to go off site to pick them up for me while I focused on moving in! 10/10 for your storage needs people! This is your place!
