Do not rent here. The employees are rude and talk down to you. Public Storage Management doesn’t care and won’t return your phone calls, because they can’t get employees. The people that work there are miserable and try to take it out on the customers.

On move in day, Managing lady was rude, classless and uneducated! Uncertain, how PS could hire such unprofessional individual…Glad, we don’t come home to such person!

I started renting a storage unit from Public Storage around May/June of 2023. They promoted a 10x10' unit for $210 a month. Their were other storage companies in the area with much better hours of operation but were priced at ~$310. 60 or 90 days after I started renting they bumped me to $320 a 52% increase due to market adjustments. Obviously that is frustrating. When I received my bill this month they bumped it again to $404. This place takes advantage of you once you have your stuff moved in. In hind-site, I should have gone with one of the competitors. PS- I was rushing from work to grab something out of my unit because the hours of operation suck. I got there with 10 minutes to closing. When I went to leave at 6:02. The Public Storage team member gave me a hard time and said that she wouldn't let me in again... This place is awful.

If you rent here, you will have your unit rental fees increased by 30% or more about every 6 months. We started renting at this location about 2 years ago in the amount of $110. Our current rental price is now over $300 a month now. We actually would recommend renting out a private space with someone, as at this rate your unit rental would cost the same as renting entire private room for yourself, and you would be able to access your space 24 hours a day. This location has shortened the access times due to "Covid" and has raised the rental fees substantially. As with all the Public Storage Google reviews, take them with a grain of salt, as they have a huge operation of creating fake Google accounts, and management uses these accounts to leave themselves skewed 5 star ratings.

Security Public Storage is Awesome!!! It’s really easy access to get a cart, and it’s really clean anywhere you’re at in the facility. Love the Security Public Storage in Huntington Beach. The Mgr’s Paul & Gail King and their staff were so wonderful!!!

Great experience at public storage, good location and easy access. Leyla was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and was a great help to us. Was smooth to get setup and moved in, she was very kind and answered all of our questions. Have other family members that have been with PS for years and it has been a good experience with no problems. Gate access is a breeze with the app. Highly recommended.

Had a really great experience renting my unit. But on the move in day, I never got a text message with the information. There was nobody at the office despite being there during office hours. Nobody answered the phone and there’s no way for me to get into my storage unit because the door code was never sent to me. I’ve called at least 5 times and left several messages. No response at all. There’s nobody at the office. I am disappointed that I paid for a move in date where I can’t actually move in.

This is just a warning from an actual customer. We know you all need storage, and there are few choices, but everything you hear about Public Storage and their price gauging is accurate. They will always use the excuse of market price, but there is no such thing. It is just how much Public Storage wants to rip you off, thinking you will be too lazy to move to another storage facility. Luckily, we only have a little storage and move to other locations whenever they jack up the price. In addition, I do not believe most of their 5-star reviews are on Google. They petition to remove honest reviews and have thousands of fake Gmail accounts leaving fake 5-star reviews on all their properties. We actually took the time to log all their reviews on all their local properties, and it found out that most accounts are ghost accounts leaving timed 5-star reviews. Interesting how all their properties have 5-star rankings. Their corporate narcissism is so obvious, lol.

This place is in a great location. It is very clean and Ana Bel is very curtious and helpful. I would recommend this facility to any of my friends. Best regards

This is the worst facility i have ever encountered and it is 99.9% due to their drill sergeant of a manager. When we first moved in she yelled at my minor child, she stalked us and our time to move in, and she has been rude and unprofessional in every encounter i have had with her. She is not professional and she lacks empathy and the customer service of helping people to be in this business.

Not sure how their google rating is so high - look at yelp not the same…. AWFUL service. They have terrible hours from the get go- and then when you do go in at the opening times the doors are still unlocked and you can’t get any up and out for quite some time to open it. Today the manager on-site was “off” even though she was still onsite and they didn’t have anyone around to open. We had to call management and someone finally drove over to let us in 40 minutes after opening/ me waiting outside. And this isn’t the first, or second time I’ve tried to get in at opening and it took forever to get doors unlocked. They have also raised my rates HIGHER than what is offered online and over a 10% raise. Which, if there was good service I probably wouldn’t mind. If you are looking to rent here just know you won’t get into storage on time at opening - ever, awful management, and prices will raise insane amounts.

Clean facility for the most part. Manager Lives on site which is Typically a good thing but in this case I feel every time I arrive when the gates are accessible 9:30am - 6:00pm which Is unreasonable we still have to wait another 20 minutes for her to unlock the actual buildings to gain access. This place is definitely pricey for what they offer which again isn’t much. I would look somewhere else. Attitude in dealing with on-site management is also negative I haven’t had a good experience as of yet!

Unfortunately, this location has extremely limited hours, unlike other storage facilities. Despite on time payment for an empty storage unit for almost two months, difficulty finding enough people to help, a truck with an appropriate lift gate, and driving from Big Bear to Huntington Beach with a broken leg, the compassion level for this location was clearly lacking. We left 40 minutes late, offered to compensate the manager, but this was refused. Perhaps some flexibility needs to be considered, or expansion of gate hours like other facilities.

I had a really good positive experience at public storage. Desmond did a really good job showing me several different storage units. I highly recommend public storage Huntington Beach Bolsa ave.

Although the on-hand staff is probably excellent, I had to deal with a call center, and it was awful. I had the exact location and size I wanted already, but she wanted to sell me something else, and it was like pulling teeth to get a quote on what I needed, where I needed it. I eventually had to hang up on her. If someone from the actual Gothard St place wanted to reach out, I'd be very happy to work directly with them.
