Clean facility and friendly customer service

I just recently started a storage unit at this space. The facility is clean, well maintained and well lit. I have come during the day and also stopped by at night and I felt pretty safe. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, answered my storage questions, and were available both onsite and over the phone. Z, Kiana, Matt are great!

Keoni is very knowledgeable, sweet and very helpful. The property is clean. The other staff are very friendly and helpful too! I had such a great experience. I will definitely rent with them again if I ever need to!

Jada at the front desk was amazingly helpful! She’s been helping me for a few years now and I’ve never had an issue. Very kind and patient as well.

What a great Public Storage location - nice clean new feeling to the building, very convenient freeway access, and great access to Cupertino! Huge props to both Rodney and Keoni -- they were so helpful in getting started and tips on moving in. Thank you!

I’m so grateful that the manager, Keoni, assisted me in getting the right size and a great deal for a senior like me. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is the best-located and cleanest functional. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs storage in the silicon valley

Only issue is that I moved in about 2 years ago at a rate of $88/mo; then increased to $110/mo, and now effective 10/01/24, an increase to $140/mo. Moving out to consolidate at another at a competitor where the rate increases have been reasonable. Also, not a notice other 1 month. I know I am on a mo-to-mo, but for customer service, an earlier notice and explanation would be beneficial. Again, no other issues except rate increases!

Wonderful facility. Clean, well designed. Manage Rodney and his staff are friendly, professional and on top of the property. Excellent deals too. Our unit was easy to access and plenty of carts, and step ladders for use. If I need to rent a storage unit again I will come here Thank you again Rodney for all your help.

Jada at the front desk did an excellent job helping me with my questions I had and was able to help me out in a matter of minutes really appreciate her sense of direction and kindness. It made my day!

Been using this location for almost a year now. Great clean units and the rates are very good, too. Had to switch to a bigger unit recently. Keani is phenomenal!! She made it smooth and easy to switch. She is very helpful, engaging, and knowledgeable in what she does. I’m glad she was there when I was switching units.

tldr: Newly renovated building, well-maintained, and Keoni is AMAZING and makes this place totally worth the higher prices! It's my family's first time renting a storage unit, and after over a month of visiting numerous units in the Saratoga / Cupertino / Sunnyvale areas, we got a unit at this location last week and so far, have been unexpectedly delighted about the process and unit! The first two things that stood out about this storage complex were also the ones that drove our final decision: 1) this building feels new, secure, and consistently well-cleaned 2) Keoni at the front desk is an absolute delight to work with!! Going into this storage unit search, I was extremely skeptical that I would find even mediocre customer service and expected to be dealing with sales reps where it feels obvious that their only goal in the conversation was to get me to sign up for a unit asap. And I did find plenty of that in several storage locations. But working with Keoni felt like I was chatting with a trusted friend! I went to each location with a measuring tape (to get the actual size of the units I saw, not just the "Estimated Size" the business provides) and a long list of questions (e.g history of reported break-ins or security incidents, history of reported mice or rodent incidents, cleaning and maintenance frequency, insurance coverage details, security camera coverage, move-in + move-out process overview + fees, moving cart availability, parking, access control + hours, climate control temperature and humidity details, wall and floor materials, payment methods / autopay, lease length / how long the price is fixed for, online account control, etc). In most places, a lot of my questions were brushed off or the person just said they didn't know. But not Keoni! She patiently gave me the most thorough answers to everything, all with a smile and lots of energy! Even when she (inevitably) didn't know some detail, she would try to find out and call me back later with answers and/or give me the closest information she did know! She also proactively provides actual helpful information and answers questions that I'm thinking of but haven't even asked yet (e.g. the weird bumpy white stuff on the ceiling isn't some kind of mold growth, it's fire retardant and was intentionally added there!). The only downside I've seen so far about this location is that the prices are higher, and based on other reviews, seems like the prices are hiked by a lot after about 6 months. But personally, if we can continue working with Keoni there, and the building's cleanliness continues to be how it is, the higher prices definitely feel worth the peace of mind you get from quality facility and A+ service!

Update from 5 stars to 1 star...After only 4 months I received a notice that rent is being raised 55% in 1 month..what a scam, this should be illegal. __________________________ Staff is great, Thank you Rodney for the help on move in day. It was a bit difficult to move in using the elevators at first, (use your code select up/down buttons, if elevator opens within 20 seconds press your floor. If after 20 seconds enter your code again when the door opens). I did maybe 10 round trips on the elevator and it was pretty quick (and I picked a busy day - last weekend of the month)

I hate visiting my unit because theatest security measures are excessive and don't work when there are multiple people visiting the building. The security code apparently only allows for one occupant to use the elevators. This was the 3rd trip in a row where I constantly had to get in and out of the building to repeatedly punch in my code just to go up to the 2nd floor with a flatbed handtruck.

FANTASTIC management at this facility. Shout out to KEONI and RODNEY who went above and beyond to help find the perfect storage unit that 💯 satisfied my requirements. They were so professional, kind, efficient with their service and would recommend this location to any family member or friends. Keoni and Rodney were so sweet and welcoming and the whole rental process was so smooth. Overall, the buildings and storage units were well maintained and secure. I felt safe and would have no hesitation going alone into the facility at any time of day.

Not only did they address all my concerns, but they also made sure the transition was smooth and hassle-free. Keoni and Rodney are great! They completely turned around my experience with Public Storage. Previously, I had a storage unit in San Jose, and the employees there were not helpful at all. However, since moving to the Cupertino area, I've had a fantastic experience! Keoni assisted me on the day I moved in. She was incredibly informative about every little detail. Rodney was also a tremendous help. I had a lot of things to store, and he suggested I use a push cart, which was a great idea. Thanks, Rodney! I also saw him outside when I was trying to find the bathroom, and he informed me that he had just cleaned it, so it should be in perfect condition. Overall experience was beyond my expectations. This morning 9:10AM, this big trunk occupied 3 parking lot in front of the B Building, left no place to park for other drivers that we have to park to the B Building Side Parking and walk almost 100 yards to move our heavy things, however, the lady working here told me “She can’t ask the truck to leave because it’s not her working time at 9:30 am”, how ridiculous!

James was a great help. Explained the process well and I was able to get in and out relatively quick. Thanks James, Keep up the great work!

BEWARE of the Cupertino Public Storage (Valley Green Drive). In less than a year this facility increased our rental rate from $149 to $190 (+21.5%) and we just received notice it will increase to $254 (just 2 months past the first year) which is another +25% increase. That's nearly a 75% price increase in one year! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!!!

I give this property a 11/10 . Clean , caring and fast . I not only needed some information about units available and sizing but information about transferring my units state to state because i am moving . Keoni really kicked it up a notch for me and i am so glad i landed her on my phone call. Great work cupertino .

Used this place last year. Came back literally for the service. Front desk had trouble getting a promotion to work for the unit I was trying to get. They used real teamwork & even stayed calm and collected as a random customer came storming in interrupting a staff meeting, and what sounded like harassing other customers.

I am fortunate to have met Jesse,who was very patient on his first day of work here and helped me resolve all kinds of issues. The environment here’s great, and rental price is also very reasonable comparing with SF.

Keoni, the property manager, had been super helpful. I’ve been a tenant for over a year. During the time the rent increase went up twice. I was about to move out but noticed that the facility was running a special at a rate lower than what I am paying now. She helped me do the paperwork to move into my new space and made every effort to keep the new unit in the same floor. The big pain was moving all my stuff from one unit to another, but if it can save me $80 a month, it was worth it. Also Keoni was the person that helped me a year ago when I first moved in. Super helpful!

Convenient location, easy access, friendly and helpful staff.

First and foremost this facility has the best ALL-STAR TEAM EVER! Here’s a quick story, I needed my storage lock removed because I lost my keys. But the problem was I needed the lock removed in 2 days because I had a flight to Florida to catch and I would not be returning any time soon. At first I was informed the process usually takes about 7 days to complete. At that moment I felt as if my life just ended, but once I explained the situation to the representative Keoni this INCREDIBLE ROCKSTAR TEAM put in a rush and got my lock removed the SAME DAY! I can’t thank this team enough for their dedication and support! As I’m writing this from the airport, to Keoni, Naida, Rodney, and James thank you all for everything and keep up the excellent service! You’re all amazing!!

Clean, very helpfull. Love this place if payment doesn't keep going up or will have to leave.& go elsewhere! We were never told that the payment would keep going up every 6mos or so. That was the reason we left our last place. We will have to get out asap if it does. Very sad as we actually like this place until then. If we had know it, we would have moved sooner. Will be looking for cheaper unit as we are 78 years old and on a fixed budget. Can't afford any rate hikes! Very sad!😫🙏😁

I just set up an account here and I was helped by Keoni. I don't write a lot of reviews so when I do write one, it means I went through an experience that really stood out. Keoni was extremely helpful and on top of things, very energetic, and very personable. She knows the building inside and out and we were able to strategize the best location for what I was trying to accomplish. I also want to add that when I arrived she was on the phone with a customer who had an issue and was upset, and I overheard her handling the interaction very well, acknowledging the customer repeatedly, maintaining her composure as she explained options, and moving towards a solution that considered what they needed. Throughout this call, she took moments to check in with me and another customer and repeatedly let us know she would be right with us, so she did not leave us hanging. I appreciated that a lot because typically customers will be ignored when an employee is dealing with an issue. Keoni then focused 100% of her effort towards us when it was our turn and I was able to get into a great unit at a great deal. She also walked me up to the unit and made sure everything was prepared for me on the spot so I could start moving my things in right away. The entire time she was very upbeat and easy to talk to. I strongly recommend this location because the employees are on top of their jobs and they are focused on customer service as the first priority. If I was still a manager in retail I would be recruiting her right away and/or offering her a competitive salary to keep her as an employee. She is one of the rare ones!

Biancha did a fantastic job helping us to rent the correct size of storage during May. It was the first time we rented a unit and we made the wrong reservation for a small unit (5'*5'). We didn't find out the mistake until we saw the unit and the office was about to close. Thanks to Biancha's great service that we were able to change to a larger unit with the registration rate. If not with her help, we won't be able to move our stuff the other morning with the scheduled moving company. Also, this is a new clean place to store stuff and we definitely recommend it. They provide good service and get the job done quickly. Many thanks!

Clean facilities with convenient dollies and elevators. James was friendly and professional - a true gem of customer service in the Bay Area. Overall a great a experience that helped a ton with my move-out. Some things to keep in mind: • you will either need to bring your own lock or buy a lock from Public Storage for $20 • insurance costs $15 a month and kicks in after the first month

This review is for Public Storage in Cupertino. It’s relatively new and they have lots of spots available. Got a good deal during Memorial Day sales. Keoni is great to work with! We went the day before and she showed us the options available and was very helpful during the move. We needed a bigger unit and she helped facilitate that as well. Compared to the service at other locations, I would definitely recommend working with Keoni.

Found this location online and got a great promotional deal. When I visited the site in person I was pleasantly surprised at how huge, nice, and clean this place is. There was only one person there, her name was KEONI, and I am here to tell you what a gem she is. She managed to handle the incoming phone calls and get me registered within minutes. Best customer service I have ever had, hands down

Great customer service from KEONI! Toured me around the storage, mentioned details and options, and accommodated me quite well. (I had crutches at the time I was viewing my unit) Always carried herself with a positive energy. The unit itself was a downstairs unit that was perfect for our needs with plenty vertical space. The building has only been in the area since last December, so it's a fairly new building.

KEONI is a great rep! She answered all our questions, explained everything about our terms and showed us a great unit to move our stuff into. Positive energy the entire time, and always has a smile. That's great customer service. If you need a storage unit, she's the one to go to!

Bianca was incredibly kind and helpful, and made the storage set up process quite easy. All the staff here are very accommodating and made adjustments for me as my schedule and storage needs changed.
