Unfortunately, storage unit rental pricing is largely unregulated in California. The “California Self-Service Storage Facility Act” does not protect occupants from rental facilities raising your rent. Clearly Public Storage in Calabasas is not sufficiently motivated to keep their occupant’s business. In less than 2 years, our unit went from $363 per month to $762 per month with notification of yet another increase coming. Needless to say, we vacated and found a facility with more transparency and reasonable terms. If you plan to move into Public Storage in Calabasas, be aware, this is not suitable for long term storage for most occupants.

Karyn.. Was amazing i know I’m late on posting this review . But she made certain I was set up even at another public storage location when her location didnt have exactly what i needed. I was sent a link to review this location and give it five stars, but unfortunately we did not have a 5 star experience. Whoever owns this location had the office worker/property manager covering two locations in the same day. So, when we arrived to get our keys and get into our storage unit for the first time, there was no one there. We had driven from an hour away and had to stay local for over two hours why we waited for her to get back from covering the other location. Extremely inconvenient. I’m only giving two stars because she was very nice once we actually got to see her face to face.

This is a nice facility. It's clean. The manager was friendly and helpful.

What great experience. This is a quiet, clean, and well watched over facility. It's not often these days where you find a business that really feels and operates in a way to help you solve your storage and security needs. I've got more things to worry about and public storage helps me keep my mind on my business.

AVOID AVOID! Worst experience ever. Very unprofessional employees and policies. I moved in at $164 a month for 10X10. I filled my unit with stuff. I have now been there less then a year and price has gone up three times since. I am now paying $321 a month and its just such a huge inconvenience to remove all of my stuff so I keep paying. But I just called acting as a new customer asking the price for a 10X10 and the price is $184. LMAO so what they do is take advantage of you once you're in there knowing that you won't want to take the stuff out. Disgusting behavior and criminal business practice. I will be removing my stuff ASAP! AVOID AVOID

!!!!!Absolutely Unacceptable Service and Outrageous Pricing – Do Not Recommend Public Storage in Calabasas.!!!!!!! If you value your belongings and your sanity, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your storage needs. The wall next to my unit was compromised due to a neighboring customer placing heavy materials against it. Despite sending emails, photos, and videos, and even personally speaking to a supervisor, no action was taken for months. After months of neglect, they finally decided to take some action. At this point, they requested the key to my unit to conduct repairs. However, given the appalling service and lack of timely action, I had already scheduled my move-out date and saw no reason to accommodate their belated repair efforts. Today, I received an abrupt phone call from a property manager who informed me that the repair was suddenly a "security issue" that could not wait until my planned move-out date in two weeks. The tone of the call was inappropriate, and she even screamed at me, making an already bad experience even worse. It's deeply concerning that something deemed a "security issue" now was not treated as such for the past six months. This inconsistency further erodes any trust I had in Public Storage. Given this poor experience, I can confidently say that I will never return to this facility and would not recommend it to anyone. To make matters worse, Public Storage in Calabasas has arbitrarily increased its prices. I started paying $120 per month, and now my bill has doubled to $240. The increase is absolutely unjustified given the deplorable service.

I recently had to move my stuff from another Public Storage location and this Calabasas location was referred by my son. I’m glad he found this place. Charmeine (sp) has been most helpful throughout my experience. Other than prices being higher than expected and no AC being used in the storage areas (it was about 98° the day we moved in, a little AC would’ve been appreciated), the units are as expected; clean and easy to locate. 4.5/5 ⭐️

This facility is impeccably maintained. The site manager, Karyn, is a complete professional. She handled the lease and orientation process in a thorough, friendly and intelligent manner. Knowing that I was in a hurry, she made everything happen quickly and smoothly and made me feel completely comfortable with my leasing choices. Customer service conducted with such care and skill is care, and this was an A+++ experience.

In 2013, my Mother needed me to vacate her home quickly. The Public Storage 23811 Ventura Blvd., Calabasas, CA 91302 location was very close to our family home. My friend, Mr. Greg Gutesha, loaded his truck with my home goods. We drove up to the front office, walked in, and the Property Manager helped me rent a storage space quickly. Public Storage made me feel cared for.

I had an absolutely extraordinary experience with Karyn at Public Storage of Calabasas. She and the rest of the staff were very helpful in any needs or questions that I may have had. If need I would definitely recommend using the Calabasas Public Storage to anyone in need.

My husband and I came to this Public Storage location after the Woodland Hills location lost elevator functionality due to rain. Karyn couldn’t have been more helpful in finding us a fantastic unit with easy access. This location is quiet, secure, well-maintained, and private - we only saw one other customer during our 4 trips to the unit. This will definitely be our go-to storage location in the future.

We had a reservation at a different Public Storage location to store furniture for our move, but when the elevator became unavailable our 2nd floor unit became much less accessible. In 15 minutes we had a larger unit on the ground floor secured at this Calabasas location. The self-entry gate was nice, the place was always clean, and Karyn the manager was so friendly and helpful. I would happily go back here if I need a storage unit again. Came in clutch when we needed it.

As often happens when people use storage facilities, I expected to store my belongings for a couple of months--four years later, I've just emptied out my unit. This facility is very clean (no rodent problem!), secure, easy to access (for renters), and boasts a truly wonderful manager, Karen. She is ever helpful and always extremely upbeat. The only negative was the increase in charges over that time, from $349/month in 2018 to $476 in 2022, with the charges scheduled to increase to $586 mid-2022 (thus my decision to empty my unit). I believe that's a 68% increase over the four-year span, which seems high. But Karen worked to delay the increase by three months, which is demonstrative of how kind and helpful she is.

The manager Karen is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. The Public Storage was the one of the best. Karen was so helpful with understanding the process. I cannot thank her more..
