There needs to be a gameplan or something for when your power system fails. An employee that can't let me in because the power went out and the system has been offline for hours after the power has been turned back on is a little ridiculous.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company. They took over my storage unit because they bought them out, and jacked my rate up by like $50 a month. I left a review based on my honest experience, and the manager called me and offered to give me a reduction for a few months if I took down the review. So all the high star reviews you’re seeing are PAID for. Place is a joke, they upped my rent yet again.
Very clean office Omar was able to help me find my gate code as I had forgotten it which helped greatly as I was trying to grab work supplies.

Very impressed with the changes Public Storage has made to upgrade this location since acquiring from prior ownership. The extra security (including restricted access to the 2nd floor), the cleanliness, the phone app, and overall ease of doing business is fantastic. Worked with David to move units this past weekend, he was extremely helpful and professional. David made the whole mini-move experience much better than we had expected. David has been a great add to this location (vs previous management). Highly recommend Public Storage at this location and David.

We did not know what to expect when Life Storage was purchased by Public Storage.
Thus far, we have been pleasantly surprised. They have maintained a clean and well lit facility with a friendly staff who are on the premises. David is knowledgeable, and courteous. He took the time and effort to meet our needs and answered our questions especially regarding the transition.
We looked at other similar companies but chose to stay with Public Storage because of David’s exceptional quality in Customer Service.
What an amazing experience! David went above and beyond in a moment of dread. Our key broke off in the lock, and I was going to give the office a heads up that I would be trying to break into my lock or get a locksmith to resolve my issue. David was great in firstly, making sure I wasn't scamming him and breaking into my wife's unit. He called and verified with my wife, whose name was on the unit, that I was being truthful. Then, he gave me the card of a local locksmith, whom I called, but while we were waiting, David inspected the situation and found a creative solution to the problem. He managed to get the broken piece of the key out of the lock, which allowed me to use the spare key. He also reviewed our account and saved us money as well. We'll definitely be staying at this location for our storage needs.
The locksmith was gracious when I called to cancel and will keep his card for my next locksmith need.

If I could put not starts I would. Life storage was great to work with. Not even 1 month since Public storage took over. They raised my storage rent 50 dollars. When I called to get it corrected. They said. They would not honor my previous rental agreement. They could care less about the customer. They care more about making money. Worst company to ever deal with. Won't even honor my previous contract with Life Storage. If I refuse to pay my original amount they will put a lean on my storage unit. I can't wait to get my stuff out of the unit. I will never use them again.

Sandy at this location answered all my questions and set me all up for a rental. Space is clean and I like that they have carts available to move items to your storage locker. Just had to pay for a one time administration fee, a cylinder lock and then a monthly insurance fee and locker fee. Thank you Life Storage!

Secure and Clean with a personal touch
What I was looking for in a storage facility was secure environment, clean storage area and a good price. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Life Storage in Gilbert (Ray Road) which met all 3 of my requirements with one great bonus. Sandy the warden of that lock up complex made it a no brainer, I signed on the dotted line after witnessing her personal and professional assistance. Give her an opportunity and you’ll be storing there as well.

The staff saved my life. I was hot and dehydrated, and was allowed to refill my water bottle and rinse my face and neck with some cold water in one of the restrooms. Genuinely thankful for immediacy in the kindness and service.

The location of this storage place is great. Plus Sandie is amazing. She was extremely friendly and patient with us. Very helpful, and always has a big smile and bubbly attitude. The storage units are open till 10pm and they have many options on the sizes of unit. Overall, my experience here was great and I had no issues here at all.

This facility is awesome! We have stored here since 2020. We were recently able to "downsize" to a smaller unit and Sandie, the manager, made it as easy as possible! I have been here a long time. After Jamie left there’s always a bunch of assistants around that have never been to the location before or if they have, it’s very rare. The amount of help they can provide is extremely limited.
At the end of the day, they need to close up the office which closes at 6pm. I called repeatedly, non stop for the last 15-20 minutes of the day. It was imperative I spoke with someone so that I could make a payment and regain access to my unit. It was of the utmost importance I accessed my unit this evening. No one answered the phone. Someone is there indefinitely. They just let it ring and ring and ring. Now I can’t get into my unit tonight because whoever they have in the office today did not want to risk being there after 6 so they just let the phone ring. I am furious.

I have had a storage unit for almost a year here now. And this location is my favorite. It's extremely clean and the bathroom is always clean as well. It's nice and air conditioned inside. Sandie is an amazing and helpful person, genuine and caring. Everyone who works the desk there is very polite. I feel safe any time of day going in storage unit even at Night time if I'm the only one there.
I do recommend this place if anyone is looking for stroage, even if you live far from here make the drive, the energy here and environment is different and you'll feel that.
The hours of Access are convenient as well as early and late enough to be able to drop off or pick up anything when needed.

Front desk team is outstanding. Rates are a little spendy but everywhere is. Service is worth the cost

I have been at the location for over a Year now and management is the best, (Jamie the manager) is the best, nicest person. I see how hard he works and how kind he is to everyone!! I run my business out of 2 units so i am always here, I like how The restroom and the halls are always clean and the entire inside smells so good/clean!!
I’ve ran into a couple hardships and Jamie has always been there for me. He has accommodated me and went above and beyond multiple times. I know lots of family and friends that have not had the same experiences with other storage companies.

I wish there were more stars to give. 5 stars is an understatement. Nice, clean, climate controlled facility. I priced several out and this one gives you the best value for your dollar. I run a resale business with merchandise so I am constantly in and out and have buyers come and meet me there. Everything about this place is superb.
I would have to say the most superb detail of this location is the staff. Jamie is the manager and it’s impossible to say anything bad about this guy. He’s a kind, understanding all around amazing individual. I’ve been storing there over a year and I’ve ran into hardships along the way. Jamie on numerous occasions has came to my aid and went above and beyond to accommodate me when he certainly didn’t have to. Michelle has also. I would store at this location just on the basis of Jamie alone. You don’t get just some manager with Jamie, you get a friend. I don’t normally leave reviews. But storing here has truly been a pleasurable experience for me.
I stopped in recently on business, and Michelle was the absolute nicest! She was so accommodating and friendly! I will most certainly be back :)
This is an ideal location and the management. Is ran by a sweet and caring gentlemen named Jaime. Decent rates and they sometimes offer 50% off and 1 month free occasionally which you can see directly through life storage website.
One thing to consider here is if you are running. An ecommetce/resale business, the rates are affordable while creating alot of space to maneuver inventory. I operate quite a large business and this Life Storage makes it a lot easier to maintain, ship, etc.
I have been here around 12 months and things seem to be on the non worrisome side here on Gilbert @ray road.

Everyone at this facility has been incredibly generous with the help they have given me at this location. I am in the middle of a crazy move and have complete exploded into a hallway, Jamie so graciously let me use an empty unit for a few hours so I could Finnish my packing. When someone broke into my car and stole my storage keys, they kept a special eye on my unit and helped me with getting it re-keyed. I love everyone here, great people, great service and the entire place is impeccably clean. From the office to the units. Everything is swept and very well kept! They have a huge elevator if you happen to choose a second floor unit as well as rolling carts to help load things in or out. Incredibly convenient! Even more convenient is the online option to book a unit. That's how I booked after-hours. I just walked in gave them my information and they gave me the key and I was set! Super love this storage unit, out of all the ones I have had to use through my years, this is hands down the best one. Thank you for making my hectic move a little more uplifting! 10 stars!
