Danielle was so helpful... She took a lot of stress off me and she worked with me to make things work... Thank you Danielle, I hope you have a Blessed beyond belief New Year!!!! 10/29/24 Update!!!!! I would not recommend this storage company to anyone... The company themselves have upped my rent twice now... They make it impossible for you to keep your things in storage... When this all began January 2024, I was paying $204 a month as of December 2024 I will now be paying $339... They are a total rip off and they increase your monthly bill instead of decreasing it when you've been loyal and never late... PLEASE FIND A BETTER MORE REASONABLE PLACE TO STORE YOUR THINGS!!!! I unfortunately am stuck here for a few more months till I can get a place 😞😞😞 So disappointing!!!!

I rented a unit & when I went to move in, I couldn’t access gate had to go to kiosk to get my access code reset. Then get to my unit & couldn’t get in because someone else had moved in. Used the kiosk, again. Customer service with the kiosk was great she got me transferred to a new unit and though I was pissed about having to pay for another lock she gave me a credit for the inconvenience. Today, I get a call saying I need to vacate the original unit (None of my things are in said unit). I have explained what happened yesterday and was told they would call back when they figured things out. Now I just got an email saying I have an unpaid balance as if they are trying to charge me for both. No one answers the phone and they take forever to call back. I wish I had paid attention to them being a kiosk only facility.

buyer be ware do not rent a place here go to the one next door there’s a lady named Chris and she is the absolute worst person in customer service you will ever encounter whatever you do go somewhere else all theses reviews with 5 star are fake they make there employees put them up she is absolutely terrible and corporate is just as worse. There use to be a Danny there and she was helpful now this one there needs to be fired !!!!!!!!!

Newer customer been there 5 months and now they want to raise rent 50%. Called and asked for an adjustment and was told sorry can't do anything. Beware of this place. There should be laws in place for such behavior at these rental places. Will move on and not return.

This has been a great experience so far with public storage. It was easy to book my unit, pay for my unit, access the unit and the unit was clean! I love the app as I had a storage unit with public storage before and although it was simple to just put in the code, the mobile app unlocks it for you. Just a simple tap and the gate opens. Danyelle even reached out to ensure everything ran smoothly and I truly appreciate it. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience.

I recently had an experience with Public Storage that left me extremely disheartened. It was my initial foray into renting a storage unit, and unfortunately, the process did not meet my expectations. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my relocation plans, which were contingent on a new job opportunity, were canceled. Consequently, I attempted to cancel my online booking for the storage unit just over 24 hours after making the reservation online. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that the company has a strict policy of NOT issuing refunds for cancellations made beyond the 24-hour mark. This policy was DEFINITELY not clearly communicated during the booking process, and I believe it may have been buried within the fine print of the rental agreement. This practice seems counterintuitive to me, as I would expect a refund for services that were paid for but ultimately not utilized. I never even set foot on the property. Currently, I am between jobs, and the $130 fee for the storage unit is a significant amount for me. It's disconcerting to think that a company would retain a customer's payment without providing the service, especially when they have the ability to rent the unit to another customer within the same billing cycle. I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others who might be considering Public Storage for their storage needs. Based on my experience, I would advise looking into other companies. If this company does this to a new customer, what else are they capable of doing to scam someout out of money... Never again will I use this company and will make sure to let others know of my experience.

I am giving these guys 5 stars for one reason and one reason only. Her name is Michelle. She is the very best and the definition of customer service excellence. She has helped me through a few difficult spots and NOBODY else in this company ever came close to her. She is the property manager and for good reason. I would recommend going to the Hall Rd location if you are in the need of storage space[s].

My sister and I were having trouble getting into our unit since this was our first time at the Hall Rd site, so we made a call to customer service and a matter of seconds, Dany was walking around the corner to assist us and she has the most pleasant personality. Dany, thank you again for such excellent service and conversation.

The person at the Kiosk was very helpful, my only complaint is that there’s no actual person at the facility to speak to or assist with problems. Yesterday I had a difficult time locking the unit and when I returned with more items I couldn’t unlock & open my unit. I’m returning on the weekend with more items so I’ll need assistance unlocking my unit, a real person. Sincerely Tamara Engleman

Danyelle literally saved my life and was more than helpful during my storage experience. Ashley was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly, Ashley's personality creates a very welcoming atmosphere. The facility is very clean and in a great location. Ashley's customer service is why I drove past 3 other storage facilities, even on the phone her customer service is top notch.

Our storage was auctioned off in LESS than 2 months of our last payment with out use ever receiving an auction date, I called and spoke with the property manager Danelle and told her I received emails about pass due amounts but not an auction date she comfirmed and said “ I don’t see an auction date but your stuff is sold and there is nothing we can do about it”after speaking with a little further she said I can call cooperate I asked her to leave me a voicemail and send an email to me with cooperate’s contact info so I could speak with them because I was driving, I never received a voicemail or an email! I would like for some to reach out so this issue can be resolved. Also I was told that if the person who bought the storage left contact info has any important documents that were left in the unit we could contact them and buy those important documents back if they want to sell them back to the original owner 😒

Dany was so incredibly helpful! I moved out after hours and she was able to get a waiver for the next month's payment. What a blessing, she was so kind!

I walked into public stores today and got amazing service from Samantha Nash she was very helpful and was able to help me get the proper unit that I needed

I have had my unit for about 16 mos. I was supposed to move from Florida to Mich end of april last year, with help from extended family that turned out to be a huge mistake, I ended up in the hospital first month here, diagnosed with 2 dangerous anurisms. I have been in and out of the hospital 6 times since,.with the latest in march I had a heart attack, I am now planning on going back to florida. i understand that all of this is personal stuff has not much to do with the storage unit, but more to do with the added stress it has caused. I am here alone with no help I have my unit on auto pay and I will admit due to the circumstances didn't noticed ( until I had an overdraft) quite some time into this that to my shock the unit price was increasing monthly? This I was not aware of being a possibility. I called the office regarding this and really didnt get anywhere but advised to call corporate which I intended to do when lightning struck again. I also have a disabled son who due to his condition ended up hospitalized recently for 6 wks. Do to this, the storage unit was placed on the back burner again. Has anyone else expirienced this type of increase before?

A very stressful home buying -selling- moving- kids back from college situation is cause of having to get a rental unit - I haven’t had one in 25 years since college and I was unsure about using storage spot to help ease up move stress - I am glad I looked into it as it will def. help . I chose Public Storage to check out due to location ( but I live closer to others I was also going to today) , 1st level drive up storage , rates/ specials , and month to month short term option. I decided to give them my money and rent a unit here because of front desk clerk Michelle- she was so kind, knowledgeable, helpful , understanding , and did I mention KIND. I don’t often leave google reviews - but when an employee is the reason sole reason I’ve chosen a business - when there are plenty of other options around - well that really says something . Whomever the owner is of this place I hope you are reading this because you need to give her an immediate raise - seriously - because she is driving business here . I’ve never met the woman before today . She is a wonderful employee . There are a ton of these places in close proximity - Michelle’s attitude , knowledge of what to consider , personality , moving / usage tips and caring demeanor are the reason I decided to give my business and money to this company . Also - if you’re in need of unit - check online for specials first to sign up that way ! If you don’t see a special check back a couple If days later !! The unit I rented was also extremely clean which I wasn’t expecting for a drive up non climate controlled unit . The door also opened extremely easy ( not heavy or sticky) and attached rope may seem silly but if you’ve got a bad back that one tiny silly things makes a big difference in ease of opening ! One more bit of info that might help some - even though first month might be free on special ( or if you are paying reg price you’ll have to add this in ) you will still need about 58$ or so to rent unit due to insurance , lock , and intake fee or whatever they call it. I didn’t realize that ! I thought it would just be 30$ . It wasn’t too big of a deal for me today but if you are on a tighter budget it might be info you need . Good luck to whoever is reading this because you might be dealing with stressful situation too!! :)

It was very easy to set up and reserve my storage unit. Great location and easily assessable. Only downsize really is that it’s pretty pricey. It’s about $65 for a 5x5 unit, which is basically a large closet, and I know it’s not competitively priced.
