Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 14900 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA

Have been renting for a year and just moved to a smaller unit I’m very pleased with everything!

I have been at this Public Storage location for about a year now. The staff here care about doing a good job and their customers. The facilities are always clean. I hardly ever see any trash. The bathrooms are regularly cleaned. I recently had a tricky situation in which Austin helped me navigate a storage unit transfer (I changed my mind inconveniently). Everything worked out, and I am grateful. Thank you to the team and management. 5 stars.

This location is now an appointment only location but they don't advertise that anywhere. You need to make the appointment 24 hours in advance but they also don't mention that anywhere. The only way to find out is to drive there and then call the number on the window. Highly disappointed I wasn't told in advance and had to find last minute storing options at the place next door which were wonderful people!

Austin delivered exceptional customer service, demonstrating courtesy and helpfulness throughout. Despite our late arrival, which extended beyond office hours, Austin patiently accommodated us, guiding us through the process with professionalism. SCAM!!! If you speak with customer service over the phone, beware, they aren’t properly trained on how to do their job correctly!! Tracy is her name, and she will put you in the wrong unit. Not only did she book the wrong accommodation, Public Storage isn’t able to fix their employees mistakes!! I didn’t need my storage unit until a week after I initially, hesitantly, booked reservations. Somehow, even after providing move in dates, I was charged the same day, and my storage unit time already began. I didn’t mind that, thinking the unit was going to be what I asked for. Now three days before I have to vacate my apartment and begin storing furniture and a vehicle in what was supposed to be a 10x20 drive in garage unit; I find out it’s not what I asked for. It’s a parking spot located outside. Speaking with the manager in person their supervisor over the phone, my problem still wasn’t resolved. Instead they wanted me to pay more money!!! Claiming they would prorate the payment for the next month. I was only supposed to pay $1 the first month and $219 a month forthright. Now they want me to pay $280 initially and $410 monthly. I think the public storage company needs to get their work ethic together and offer greater customer support services to their customers. Overall horrible experience, on top of having to vacate my apartment in the next two days. Customer service also needs to be less concerned about receiving financial reciprocity, and lean more towards securing the customers storage space.

Austin was incredibly informative and helpful. He patiently answered my numerous questions. Austin slowly, walked me through each step necessary towards securing and moving into a 10' x 10' unit.

Moved in today and had an excellent experience with Haley. She went above and beyond to make my rental experience stress-free and as good as it gets. I am happy with the security, climate-control, and price per month. Thank you , Haley !

Had the best customer service experience with Austin at the Shoreline Public Storage. We were dealing with a chaotic move and needed storage options quickly. He was very knowledgeable, kind and fulfilled all our needs. We were able to store our belongings in a timely matter and felt well taken care. He went above and beyond!

Honestly, after seeing all of the warnings online about Public Storage I was quite concerned with my descision, but after Austin and Tukai helped me become acquainted with my new unit much of my concern was alleviated. Their professionalism and kindness was notable, and made the entire experience quite personable.

Better prices than anything South of North 145th. Gates and elevators are working 98% of the time. Great staff! Even being under staffed and over worked, the On Duty personnel are really wonderful.

Started renting a 5 x 10 space in December of last year and needed to switch up to a 10 X 10. Austin found me one on the same floor of the building I was in which made it super easy to move units. THANK YOU AUSTIN!

The location, ease of access, and conditions of this storage unit location leave a lot to be desired, but the customer service given by Haley was outstanding. She made our experience much better than it otherwise would have been.

I had OUTSTANDING service here from an employee named HALEY! I am VERY pleased and happy with my experience. She was extremely helpful, patient and kind. (Hard to come by these days) I highly recommend her . She went above and beyond to assist myself and every other customer in a timely fashion and knew what she was doing (Also hard to come by. Lol) I am 10000000% satisfied. The place was clean, secure, and It is employees such as this (Haley)that make people like myself want to return and continue doing business. Very nice girl. Great location and the manager there, Haley, was extremely helpful with getting me a storage unit for my business. I run a small landscaping company and she was able to get me a tour & secure the unit quickly and easily. She even explained that it I was ok for me to put in some metal shelving and store my equipment in the unit. This is an incredibly affordable option for contractors who need additional tool storage. Highly recommend as Haley get small business owners.

Azalea is amazing! She was so nice and really helpful. Her and Austin made my move a lot easier. I would definitely recommend this place because of the service alone.

I've used public storage a number of times before, I'll use them again. Any time I have to move I come here to help smooth the transition. Today I was helped by Austin and he was lovely. Super friendly and helpful.

I didn’t get the receipt from email and was told to come and collect the physical copy. Lemlem helped me with this. She was very unwilling to help, and kept saying that she couldn’t find the record. I eventually did get it because I kept pushing and ask if she could try different method. I rent for 2 months but only got invoice for one. While I was checking my payment history, she kept asking if there’s anything else I need while she knew I was double checking and after I answered her yes and what I was doing. She basically just tried to make me leave. When I checked and found an issue, I tried to talk to her and she just ignored me, so I just left because I don’t want to waste more time. Then she just stared at me until I walked out of the door. I gave 2 stars because the previous interactions with other staff were still good.

Update on 11/12/2022: The office frequently does not open on time. It’s supposed to open at 9:30. But days in a row, it wasn’t open at 9:30, not at 9:50, and not even at 10:30. Once might be a staff emergency, but when it’s frequent, then there’s a staffing problem. If Public Storage can’t manage to keep the office open during stated office hours, then they should officially reduce their hours and update their website. Not being open during stated hours is a complete disregard of their customers’ time and frankly, rude. Renting a unit was super easy and affordable. Henry was very courteous and thorough in going over the ins and outs - Thank You!

This is the best public storage location I’ve ever been to/and rented from. The manager, Jacob is so kind, helpful and attentive. Everyone on staff has been very friendly and professional. It is a clean, well maintained establishment. If given the choice to rent in the greater Seattle area, please pick this location.

Too expensive

Great, secure and clean storage. They get you with a low introductory price and Jack it up until you leave though. We're paying 5 times the price we started at 2 years ago. Just another racket

been using the unit for a year and a half. The random price hikes are ridiculous and recently a $200 jump, has tripled my unit price. Over priced units in a poor location. Stay away from public storage scams

I have only been renting here for about 6 months and they're already raising my rate by almost 50%. A 50% price increase is ridiculous. My friend also got stuck in your extremely sketchy elevator for about five minutes and is now afraid to go to our unit. I also saw a post online that this place (not my unit) was robbed a couple months ago. I could deal with the robbery and the elevator issue, but this ridiculous rental increase has put me over the edge and I will be moving to a new storage facility as soon as I have time to find one. Ugh, what a hassle.

Henry introduced me to this location about a year ago! Tiffany was helpful in my downsizing/unit transition. Both people are the backbone of this PublicStorage!

My online experience was terrible but my in person experience with Jacob was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience at this facility is that the site is extremely clean, I always felt safe going there even when alone, and the staff has been very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely recommend renting at this location. Thank you, Jacob & Tiffany!

The entire process of renting a storage unit was made more enjoyable by walking through it with Tiffany at the Shoreline location. It was super convenient to conduct the entire process online but when I ran into some trouble I called and Tiffany picked up. She had answers and I was able to skip a trip into the storage office on a Saturday. Yay! She was patient, very helpful and communicated very well. I understood every step and felt confident in renting a unit online. Thanks to Tiffany for being such a wonderful human!
