Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1755 NE 48th Street, Renton, WA

The experience from start to finish was very positive. The only issue I had on my first visit was the lack of information on where to find my unit and for which I got directions from the on-site agent.

I want to start by saying that the two onsite personel , Joe and Jacob where very helpful , friendly and professional whenever I was there and needed help and questions answered. Never once did I have a negative interection from either of them. The one main issue I had was with the company policiy re: rent raises and unit sizes. My rent increased twice during the two years I was renting , that's partially why I left , but not the entire reson. Also , my '10x10' unit was actually 9x10 , 100 sq ft that I could use but was paying for. After giving away some blongings I concidered moving in to a '5x10' that turned out to be 4x10 , 100 sq ft loss. When I tried chatting with the company on line , the conversation abrutly ended after the individual stated that the measurements were 'approximate' . 10'x 9'10" is approx , not minus one whole foot width. Then the chat ended. I would've given 5 stars if not for that.

This is the BEST storage facility! It was easy and convenient to set up. Every interaction I've had with the staff has been so pleasant. Joe is extraordinary, and it makes my day talking to him every time. He is super helpful and makes you feel like a friend when he's talking to you. After a very pleasant phone conversation with Joe a few weeks ago, I went in to meet him in person, just to say hello, and to thank him for helping me with my account. He's even nicer in person, and is now one of my all-time favorite people. Joe is the definition of "above and beyond" service. I would vety highly recommend this storage facility, and I would highly recommend meeting Joe just for fun, as he makes my day every time we talk. Thanks Joe and team. You're the Best!

The guys running this place are great and do a good job with the facility they are given. That being said, this particular location is highly susceptible to being broken into as it is right off the highway for a quick getaway for theives. I live just up the hill and our apartment community has seen the same crimes. There have been multiple break ins at this public storage location and my unit was impacted last week. If you don't want anything valuable taken, don't keep it here as it is not very secure at all. I can now pry the top of my door back with my hands.

Doug is the man! Good communication all the way through until I signed. Walked me through units and answered questions I had about everything.

Great experience all around. I felt our stuff was safe, location was convenient, and Joe is always so sweet! Sad to say goodbye, wish I had a reason to keep our storage to keep seeing his smiling face :)

Very very tight space and hard to get in on a semi or turn around. No turn around space . Wrong place for a storage.

Easy, convenient, and friendly spot to store a few things while we were moving. Doug and Joe were always there to help and made moving in and out a breeze.

It was quick and easy to select a unit, complete the paperwork and make the first payment online. When I arrived, I was only in the office for a few minutes. Doug was friendly, helpful and handled everything very efficiently. The gate access code didn’t work immediately so Doug helped get that working and then made sure the code worked on the building door and even showed me directly to my unit which was a ways into the building. A large flat bed cart was available to make moving my stuff through the building easier. I already had my own lock so Doug also quickly processed a refund for the lock provided. All around this was a great experience

Joe has been outstanding since the beginning. He’s very thoughtful when consulting which space you will need and knowledgeable about everything regarding the units. He always has a friendly demeanor and is always happy to help! The units are clean, and the move-in process is super simple and easy!

Thank you Doug!! After recently selling our home in Kennydale, my wife and I needed to rent a storage unit for the household items that we were keeping. Because of its convenient location, we decided to visit the Public Storage located between Newcastle and Kennydale (1755 NE 48th Street, Renton WA 98056) to see about renting a unit. We had the good fortune of having Doug working that day and we couldn’t have been happier with the excellent customer service that he provided. Doug went out of his way to ensure that we were set up with a storage unit that could accommodate our belongings and that was easy to access. Doug also made sure that we had no problems getting our account and payments set up, configuring the mobile app properly so that we could get into and out of the facility and even let us use the hand truck that was available on-site at no extra charge. We just want to give a big “shout out” and say thank you to Doug for his professionalism in representing Public Storage and ensuring that our rental experience was above and beyond all of our expectations. Great job Doug, it was great to meet you and we appreciate and you making our rental experience with Public Storage painless and enjoyable!!

Even just hearing him deal with other customers, I was very impressed with his diligence, attentiveness and productivity. Since I rent a unit at a location other than this one I can only give 4 stars as I have not seen the units. However, from the outside it looks clean and I would not hesitate to rent from this location. Thanks Doug!

Doug at this location: 13105 SE 30th Street Bellevue, WA 98005 - is the best!! Very patient, fun, courteous, and willing to go the extra distance to problem solve - and there were many obstacles with the online process of renting a unit. Doug stayed on the phone with me until all was resolved. Yay, Doug!!

This place is filthy. Common areas haven’t been cleaned in many months. I complained that there was water and mold in my unit and they told me there was nothing they could do but if I wanted to move to another unit I could apply online. I’m moving out and some of my stuff is damaged from it. Also the exterior door doesn’t close properly unless you force it closed, so it’s always unsecured when I show up. They have almost doubled my rent since I moved in. The initial price quote is not what you’ll actually pay.

Joe delivered exceptional service. He made the whole process of getting the storage unit and viewing it very simple and smooth. Top notch guy.

Super accessible for my wheelchair, property manager was really amazing and helpful, explained ALL the fees, in detail! UPDATE 6/18/2022 the side is painting the exterior and interior of the storage units. None of the external units have their numbers on them. Come prepared knowing where your unit is! There is also a significant amount less parking due to the painting company's temporary "office" in front of the Public Storage office. The accessible parking is clear!

Hours are awful. Staff hardly ever on site. Keep raising prices like quarterly. Cannot wait to get my stuff out of there!

The manager, JOE, at this Public Storage couldn't be more helpful!! I was in town for just a week over Spring Break and needed a lock cut off a storage unit. The person who normally does the cutting was on vacation, but JOE managed to get someone in for me early Easter Sunday morning before I left so that I was able to accomplish what I wanted to do. It was absolutely amazing that he got the job done on a major holiday morning! JOE also gave me other helpful advice for my storage units. He's absolutely THE BEST!!

I’d like to thank both Joe at the NE 48th St. Renton, and the manager at the Factoria SE 30th St Bellevue locations. The Factoria manager helped me figure out the storage space that would fit my need, and Joe helped me secure an ideal space that’s a stone’s throw away from my current residence at his Renton facility. I’m now motivated to start packing thanks to these gentlemen!

We had a good experience in this branch with the help of Mr . Nolie Estrada , he was helpful , clear in explaining what we need to know and accommodating in short we got exceptional customer service . He was friendly too .

(Update : The building road way is clear now . but the drive there is under construction and if you have a big wide truck the lanes are more narrow.) They said one price online but they are now charging more. They haven't done anything new so. The maintenance outside is bad grass is long and Moss is growing everywhere . (I know Washington weather) . I would look for a better place but if its temporary then use it. Have a great week
