Robin was and is AMAZING!! She was helping another customer when I first came in which took a while but in the middle of it she found time to let me know that she would be with me once she was done and she also apologized for the long wait. I appreciate that she acknowledged me and updated me, that's what customers like. When it was my turn she asked what I was looking for and started right away to find me a unit. She looked diligently and went over all the units she had to make sure she found one that was right for me. We saw both units and then I was able to pick one. The process to get one was fast. Throughout the process, Robin was nice, kind, and personable.
When I was at my storage unit another day with my boys I gave them some trash to put in the dumpster and it was locked. Robin saw my boys struggling to open it to put trash in there and she came from the office to come and unlock it which was very nice of her. I'd recommend this storage location to everyone and my experience with Robin to others because she is super nice and kind. Just like the Christian radio channel 88.1 says "If you can't find a kind person be one!" Robin is just that!

Robin is a real asset to have working for Public storage. Her professionalism was first notch. IF I COULD MAKE A SUGGESTION, MAYBE KEEP A LITTLE LONGER HRS FOR THE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE A 9 TO 5 Job makes it very difficult to use this facility. I understand it's to keep the crime issues and the less questionable clientele away from using this facility.
I'd maybe suggest having security patrol the premaciss 6 to 9 am then maybe 6 to 9 pm to help the others to use this storage place? Ty for ur understanding....

Robin welcomed me with a friendly smile and she personally escorted me to find my unit. She has quite a bit of experience I had learned so that was nice. My unit was all swept and ready for me to move in. It has been a great overall experience so far!

Been at this location almost 2 months and it's been nice. Thank you KiKi for helping me get all signed up on day 1. And just had the pleasure of meeting Nichole on a Sunday, glad she was here to answer cpl questions I had, she had a great work attitude and definitely good customer service... The ONLY reason for the 4\5 stars is because of the gate hours. I do mobile detailing and it's nice to be able to have my stuff there and be able to pick it up and go do jobs and can easily bring stuff back afterwards but like closing at 5pm on the weekends just sucks sometimes, so then I have to risk leaving all my equipment in my car overnight and my apt complex isn't the best with security. But that is def the only reason for the 4\5 stars... The employees rock! And are so helpful when needed..I would and have recommended this place.

Manager Kiki - She was so sweet and super helpful! Tbh, my unit didn’t have any directions where the entrance and exit were, but she was patient with me and she helped me out. She also told me that I smelled good, which really boosted my self-esteem. We need more people like Kiki!
Kiki offered great customer service
Someone had damaged the lock to the storage unit that my daughter and I are renting at this location. It been 3 weeks since we been waiting for a locksmith to come to take the lock off. This very inconvenient for us. We do not have access to our unit plus on top of that we had to paid for another lock. To my understanding my daughter and I paid for insurance to cover any damage to the unit so why do we have to pay out of pocket to have the lock replaced and why is it taking so long for the locksmith to come out to replace the lock. I would not used this storage location in the future. I never had any problems using other Public Storage this is the only one. You have one very unsatisfied customer

This place was awful. We called to get a unit lined up for a specific date, but then when we got to the unit they said we had to pay from the date we called on (that would have been nice to know on that call) ANDDD turns out we were paying for someone else’s stuff!! So we had to wait 2 hours to get a new unit and cancel that one. Then when we came to get our things 7wks later, we had more issues. It’s just been a headache. Use a different location. There’s another location about 1-2 miles from this one. May be better. If you can swing it, maybe try a different company.

Absolutely the worst experience. Arrived on site to rent unit. No one there. Called. Phones go directly to a person very happy to sign you up over the phone. I stated we were there and wanted immediate access. They assured me the process was automated and we would be given a code to enter immediately. They signed me up for next day so we couldn't get in. We called back. No luck as you can no longer get to a person because they re-route your phone to customer service voicemail after you sign up. Property manager arrived on site after about 45 minutes and she gave us a code. Did not work. Back to office. She came to unit and let us in herself. Assured me code would work next day. Came back 4 days later. Code didn't work. App didn't work. Came back twice. No property manager on site. Called ALL the numbers. Finally got someone. Demanded my money back as I had spent approx 5 hours of wasted time. They reset my code over the phone AGAIN. Finally got in. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE after you sign up!!! Go somewhere else!

Mychelle is very professional and patient helping with our storage needs. Public Storage is extremely fortunate having her as a manager! Whenever we have come to drop off or pick up items, she has been available and ready to help in whatever way needed. I've seen her show the same interest in, and care for, other customers, too. Her professionalism and genuine connehandbags. every customer is something you don't see that often. We're always glad when we come by and she's the manager on duty. She does it all, from listening to customers' needs, presenting all the options, to sweeping the grounds and helping locate handcarts. I hope she is appreciated for all she does!

Jan 2024- Unfortunately I have to change my review. I was renting a 10x30 for $247 and moved in in October 2023. I just received a notice that my rent will be increasing to $333. That's almost a 35% increase. I can understand maybe 10% after a year but 35% is ridiculous. I moved out immediately to a different storage company with better access hours but a little farther away. The employees are still great but their business practices are almost criminal. They lure you in with a good price then screw you a couple of months later.
I can’t even put into words how incredibly helpful and kind Kiki was for my family during a difficult time for us of our father’s passing. Our father rented a unit there that was unfortunately actioned off. She was able to get hold of the buyer for us and get us some of his clothing and documents. Kiki went above and beyond for us during this time. She was also understanding and nice to us. We appreciate it so much.

This storage facility is nice and staff is friendly. The reason for only 2 stars is because they increase rent multiple times per year with little warning. We have had our storage unit for less than 1 year and our rate has DOUBLED. A 100% increase in less than a year is obnoxious. If we’re unable to negotiate a lower rate, we will need to move our belongings elsewhere when the new rate kicks in.

This facility has hours that show it open but I rarely find the office staffed. I often pay 2 months in advance for this very reason. If I wanted to do business online I wouldn't rent a space. For the price charged I expect face to face service

Simple & Very Easy going process
Work life balance must be great working here because getting service when needed is nearly impossible. Even official office hours apparently don’t apply.
My code to get in isn’t working and will have to be changed for the second time in 6 months.
Hope to resolve this today and get out of there asap.
The customer service representative Joelle was great, she checked us out was very pleasant, wish we could write more but the service rendered was outstanding. I highly recommend this place if you need storage.

If I could rate 0 I would.
I was 5 min late in leaving, in the process of loading my belongings into my car. I mistakenly let the exterior door close and my belongings and car keys were in the hallway.
There was apparently no staff on site by 5:05 and NO ONE could be contacted, per the after hours contact helpful recital of the ‘policy’.
When asked who the point of contact would be in an emergency I was told that no one would be contacted until operating hours at 6:00 a.m.
Apparently after 5:00 there is not a single employee, or manager who exists to Public Storage, so it sounds like their work life balance must be out of this world.
Their customer service, however, could use a makeover.
I spoke with Joelle over the phone at this location and she was very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. She made my phone experience very smooth and seamless. A great asset to this location and big kudos to Joelle!!! -Phil
This storage facility has been so easy to work with, easy to manage online and on the app, and easily accessible. I have to remember that I can only drive up and access it during normal business hours, but besides that inconvenience, it has been a great experience. Speaking to Joelle today was a pleasure and they were very helpful.

I would not recommend renting here, finding out my lock handle was unscrewed from the inside and half my stuff stolen! Someone smart went through the wooden wall because the only thing holding the wooden wall is screws. I did not get a call from the office about it! The guy that work in the office seems not to care. Does their security camera even work? This place is shady and I don't trust it. Also, this place is over charged to have limited time access and just to have a wooden wall that can be unscrewed from the outside.

We moved cross-country from Raleigh, North Carolina just when everything in Seattle shut down due to the pandemic in March 2020. So finding a house, starting the job, etc. was very challenging and we had no idea how long conditions would remain in shutdown and our lives unsettled. After paying storage with our movers for a short time, we ended up putting our household goods into a storage unit here and then we lived "temporarily" down in Portland with family. Now, two years later, we finally were in a position to be able to move our things out of storage and into our home.
We had a great experience at this location. It was really easy to have a large moving truck come in and unload and load our items. We rented a 10x10x30 unit and over the two years we were only able to go up to Seattle from PDX to check on it a few times. We never had any issues of break-ins. It was clear that after 2 years that there were never any leaks or other weather-related issues, no evidence of pests such as rodents or insects, and all of our items were in very good condition after being stored for so long. I'm sure that since we had had all of our items packed from moving cross-country and we just left everything wrapped, boxed, and crated, that helped preserve the good condition of our items. I had been growing increasingly concerned as the months passed but we did not know in 2020 how long our things would be in storage and so we did not opt to find a climate controlled unit.
Moving out was very simple. We had a great experience with the current manager, Lindsy, who communicated very clearly and made our entire move out process very simple and pleasant. In our experience we have had nothing but a great success with having our household goods in long-term storage at this Public Storage location.

You'll have access during the daytime only, so if you work regular business hours you're SOL- they're not open during the evenings or early mornings. The office people are fine but have their hands tied, the manager is perfectly nice but totally unhelpful, probably also has his hands tied by corporate. Rates increase a lot, every few months, with no notice sent.
As a traveling healthcare employee, when COVID hit and they reduced their hours I had no access to my unit. I ended up being out of town working for 4 months with two suitcases because the hours were so limited and I was traveling. Later discovered an issue with the door, got no help coordinating to get it fixed for almost a year (because, again, I travel out of town for work, thus the need for a storage unit in the first place) and I had to be there to do it.
Just save yourself the time and trouble.
