Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 13105 SE 30th Street, Bellevue, WA

Decent place to store bulky items on Eastside. Summary: good location and helpful property manager, however corporate has a predatory pricing policy and WILL raise your fees by insane amount after only few months, so I do not recommend to do business with them. If you want more details read on: Pros: Safe - they have great security & alarm system and police discourages any shady loiterers. Great location - really close to Bellevue. Great management interaction - Melissa (property manager) has been very nice and helpful whenever I had a question or needed to switch a unit. Another pro - absence of rats, the other Public Storage branch in Issaquah was infested so badly that multiple customers got their stuff chewed up, destroyed and covered in rat feces . Cons: Unethical corporate pricing model - Public Storage would do a bait & switch storage rate, then raise it by 100+ dollars few months later. Super annoying and discourages you wanting to do business with them. I instead would recommend Premier Storage company that locks the rate for 12 months and even when they increase it is reasonable (by 5-15 dollars) not crazy $100+ increase like here. Thats why I would NOT recommend them unless you only need a couple of months storage. Update: I had raised my review by extra star after the management reached out directly to me to review some ways to mitigate the increase. I appreciate their good customer service and that they were able to postpone price decrease by another 3 months

Melissa is a great on-site manager. Very pleasant, quick on her duties and really efficient. Location is great and seems very safe. Excited to rent here.

I recently had a security concern . People that have been following my post and contacting me ! . There has been an update . Distinct manager called and we had a professional discussion. I addressed a concern on more security and a solution. He agreed and made a call to his boss and ssid they will be correcting problem as quickly as possible with this solution. We rented a unit to move into Nov.3rd. of 2023. We had to put a lock on it as per their requirements before moving in. On Nov. 3rd. we went to get prepared to move in and found water standing in the unit with water damage. We showed this to the manager immediately. She checked to see if we could switch units and was told that we could not do that without the price doubling. She told us at that time we would be refunded our money. Since that point, I have called numerous times since we never received our refund. Again, I was told by different people the refund was on the way. Nothing happened. I have stopped in numerous times and no one has been in the office, and they never answer the phone. Today 2/22/24 I called and finally got someone. I explained the situation again, and I was told because we had the lock on the unit (as required by them) we would not get a refund. I find this company will take your money, but refuse to refund on an issue that was theirs and did nothing to help us. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not even worthy of one star since we were cheated by them!

Melissa is a rockstar! I had difficulties with the initial website promotion passing through to my account so I went to the office and asked about what had happened. She calmly and kindly looked up my account, saw the payment I'd made and explained how the promotion would work very clearly. She also showed me the storage unit and walked the yard with me. Throughout the entire engagement, she was positive, kind, and courteous - Public Storage missed the mark on the dial in "customer service" (loosely defined) but hit a home run with Melissa running the office!!

Harim was the best. I was in a pinch short on time between work and moving. Last minute, I had the pleasure of meeting Harim and with the BEST customer service. Ever Harum walked through my move planned, each room size according to items going in, and was not just trying to rent a unit but was genuinely concerned with my move being easy, no hiccupss.
