Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 8 16th St NW, Auburn, WA

I visited here this morning and Rose was at the front desk. She helped me get the right storage unit for me and she was very informative and helpful and friendly. She answered all of my questions and was able to get me through the paperwork process and into my new storage unit painless, easy and quick. I would recommend you guys because of Rose. Once again thanks Rose you rock.

I forget the lady's name but she has been super. She has helped us schedule storage and was super helpful. She even responded to the many changes I made while trying to get the best storage situation. Public Storage is our number one place for our storage needs. They are making our move awesome.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! Don’t let the several 5 star reviews from the people who have been lucky enough to never need assistance with anything during their stay. The manager is Unprofessional and lacks empathy for her customers. I rented a unit to move my stuff into and during that process of moving the doors locked on me and my unit was wide open with my items in the hallway waiting to be put away. When I asked the manager to open the door for me, she responded “Nothing I can do about it. Try calling customer service” and then left in her truck where we were stranded with our stuff open for the taking. This lack of empathy is the last thing you want out of your places manager. Should not treat brand new customers this way let alone ANY customer. I am a very hard person to upset but I asked for a refund and took my stuff. I was then told after I left that it would take 6-8 weeks for my refund. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a terrible experience. The are plenty of other affordable and professional places that don’t have rats and break ins every night.call around

Here's what I know, the place is clean and secure two things I can really appreciate about a storage facility. Two people that have been awesome ... ask for Rose or Caroline both which have been outstanding at facilitating my needs at this Public storage facility not to mention friendly end knowledgeable.

Rose was great. We tried Rent by phone and got stuck. But I went into the office and we competed the rental in person. And it went well.

Five stars to the two Ladies whom helped me fix the issues I had at hand today. Customer service at its finest. I look forward to keeping buisness here and spread the word of these two employees and how they went above and beyond to insure I was taken care of today. I appreciate you both. You have my future recommendations when any one I know or don't inquire about a good place to rent from. Thank you. *If I was your Mgr, And I saw or knew of how you both handled a customer like you have today, I with out a doubt would bump your pay. Good job to you both...kudos

I am updating my review. A few months ago the building leaked and a majority of our stuff molded and was ruined. We have insurance thru them which only covers what we had receipts for and proof of purchase amongst other things. We have had this unit for a few years I do not have the receipts. All of my baby stuff was ruined, that alone costing hundreds of dollars. Literally had to trash everything. When I called the first time the worker was extremely rude and essentially told me it wasn’t her problem. I contacted corporate and they had the DM contact me. She was very polite and nice. However, they gave us one month free and offered to move us to another unit in the same facility and no $ for the damaged items. And we were also responsible for paying for disposal of all items. A 10x10. While moving out I met several other families that were there moving out and throwing their whole units worth of stuff away not only because of mold/leaks but also a rat infestation. One lady showed me blankets that were covered in rat urine/feces and totally chewed up. When you are paying $260 a month for a 10x10 unit, you would expect your items to be safe. I felt very much that they are only concerned about their money and how to get it. Again I was told my home renters would not cover storage so I had to buy theirs when I signed the contract a couple years ago, which I found out was a lie and I paid double insurance for 3 years. Our unit started out $130 with no special and went to $260. Plus the cost of insurance. And all of my things were ruined. Special stuff that isn’t replaceable and all I was offered was one free month and to move to another unit in the same facility. I feel like they lack integrity and only care about getting money, regardless of what that means for their customers. I highly highly highly recommend that if you value any of your things or your money, that you do not use this facility. Worst experience I’ve had with a storage company and I’ve used them for 15+ years. Life storage/extra space storage would be the way to go. Same size unit with temp control is $100 a month and they won’t lie to you about everything. Take my word and go elsewhere. Having the drive up is not worth it when your items are getting destroyed due to mold/rats.

Rose was very helpful. She had all the answers I was looking for and she was more than pleasant to work with. All in all, a great experience.

I called looking around for a storage unit and Destin answered all my questions. A lot of times now you can hear the annoyance through the phone but Destin seemed happy to answer my long list of questions. Will definitely be renting here when I'm ready to make the commitment!

Fast & friendly service. The CSR was very clear at explaining things very well.

Now, thank the heaven, I'm not there anymore. Gate closes at 6pm, weekdays and 5pm, weekends. They've lost their minds! To get there in the afternoon, then have only a blink of an eye, to accomplish whatever you need to do...!?? Crazy... Then scoldings, if you leave at 5mins before the gate closes. Also, my things was infested with mice or rats. Consolation, the people who work there, are the sweetest people you'll ever get the pleasure to meet. Love love love them. Thanks staff, for the bright spot of an otherwise... Yuk!

Limited hours, not climate controlled. I still got a unit because i asked the manager (blaine) how long my rate would be, he said 6months but usually typically longer. im not even 4 months and get an email last week saying my unit rent increased 26% from $63 to over $80 and its the smallest unit, the 5x5. Im not impressed.

Couldn’t get through to original storage in Kent/Des Moines so we drove here to the nearest Public Storage in Auburn off 16th st. Went in very upset & disappointed HOWEVER the young man working the front counter-Mr. Blaine, what GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Which is so hard to find nowadays. He was very helpful, understanding & knowledgeable. Kudos to him & hope his superiors recognize him for his awesome act of service. Very rare to find! Kudos to Blaine!!

Blaine helped me adjust some fees on my account because I was out of state and needed help setting my autopsy back up, he helped me with my problem and got the fees adjusted I’m grateful for the good customer service!

This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s infested with rats please do not rent here!! I lost 70% of my things and no one is doing anything about it. You will spend thousands replacing your things. DONT DO IT

It was ok. Guy in office wasn’t sure about a lot said he had not got to much training at that property. I’ve been with PS for over 40 years that was a Frist. I should’ve bought stock lol 😂

This place is in a pretty sketchy area and there is not adequate coverage for the cameras and the fenses are not maintained. When I got my unit, Tiffany asked me a lot of questions about how often I travel for work and surprise surprise my unit got broken into during my first business trip and of course there was no video coverage anywhere near the unit. I asked to be moved into a similar sized unit when I got back and the price doubled (probably because the unit had camera coverage). If you can afford to go elsewhere, please do if you value the stuff you want to store.
