Ashley was the best, very helpful and kind
If there was a negative star, that is where they would be. DO NOT RENT HERE. they are just after your money and do nothing to improve the property in correlation with the price increases. We had our rates increased every couple of months, until the last increase where they wanted to raise the rate $300 more than the current rate. NOPE! We found another spot, with a bigger storage bay and saved $400 per month.
I just came to this storage to check and compare prices, but the manager (Ashley) was so helpful, she really went above and beyond. She gave me prices for not just her property, she also check other properties for the size unit that i wanted because all of hers were rented. In a nut shell she made the inquiry worth the visit. Ashley takes pride in her work! Every time we visit the property she is doing her job by checking storage units, paperwork or assisting customers. Mary has been such a big help the last few months while dealing with some personal stuff. She's my go to person when I need something. She definitely deserves a raise!
Unit was supposed to be climate controlled. HVAC never running when on property - even during the summer. Used multiple DampRid containers that had to be changed out monthly and items still smelled. Find another facility!

Thanks to Mrs. Ashley I was able to save my lock from being cut. I came into her store for some information on my account at another property and she informed me I could make my payment at any location, even took my payment and made my day. Her kind attitude and helpful information was delightful.

Wow 🤯 I was quite impressed today! I came in looking to rent a storage unit and the customer service was excellent, Deanee was very patient and informative while helping me. And the cleanliness of the facility was pretty phenomenal compared to some storage facilities i have entered.
Michelle was super helpful setting me up with an additional unit. She went above and beyond to find me a handy location.

I was in on 2/6/24 looking for a storage unit. Deanee was nice and very professional. She showed me all of the options within my budget. The property is very clean. 10/10 would recommend coming here and talking to Deanee.
PUBLIC STORAGE IS A RIP OFF - Do NOT trust them. I had a storage place here for several years before PUBLIC STORAGE took over at this Tomball - Kuykendahl facility. They raised my monthly storage price from $120 a month to $870+ A MONTH WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME!!! They just debited it out of my account without even having me sign a new rental agreement. When I approached the property manager after seeing the debit in my account, they said there is nothing they will do to reduce the rate and there is nothing I can do except move out. They said that the price on the website is only for new customers so THEY CAN CHARGE YOU WHATEVER THEY WANT!!!! I'm an excellent tenant at that facility for four years and basically they defrauded my credit card.
Deamee the property manager was so helpful and nice, she show me 7 units with no tiering or hesitating, she explained to me everything in all aspects.

This is a clean storage area in, on property and around! From start with getting contracts, my lock, packing & storage supplies in office, to moving in, the staff have been very helpful! Since I’ve been a customer at this location I’ve gotten in the gate with no hassle. I also have enjoyed hearing from the nice staff from month to month with pleasant reminders when the rent is due, things move fast in life and having a friendly voice to remind us is pleasant. In all Glad we came here for a second time!

Melissa and Christy are AMAZING!!! This facility has come a long way since these two arrived. There is always a smile and a wave from them. They have always taken care of whatever comes up. About 2 weeks ago we had a storm. Simply Self Storage called me to inform me that the awning above my rv had collapsed and was leaning on my rv. When I examined the supports of the awning I realized, it was neglect, not the wind storm that caused the collapse of the structure. I have included pictures, so people can see the neglect for themselves. When I confronted the regional manager that they needed to cover any damage from their buildings collapse, he informed me that I had "signed a waiver". Sad way to deal with customers, especially when it's fairly obvious the supports were all corroded and rusted through. Honestly it's amazing that the structure was still standing. I'm hopeful they come to their senses and cover the damages to vehicles caused by a dangerous structure with corroded legs.

They used to be Cubesmart. Cubesmart sold to Simply Self Storage. This transition was terrible. Accounts were lost. Payments could not be made. No notice was received. Hours were spent to try and resolve this. It took 3 weeks to do so. I was happy with Cubesmart. It is the same onsite staff who are nice, but no one knows what is going on at the new organization and getting help is very difficult. In the end it was sorted out, but it should not take hours when you are an existing client for over a year. Suggestion is to actually plan a transition and beef up on resources to ensure customers are happy, unless that is not the goal, which I suspect it was not.
10/7/2022 - Rent for these units has now increased 50% in 2 years. Perhaps all storage is this way. It is a scam. Low entry price and then constant escalation.
It was a really “Simple” pleasant experience signing in for storage space. The facility is clean ant decent. Highly recommended.

The onsite Manager, Diane, has always been attentive to any requests or issues we have had, first with the previous owners, and now with Simply Storage. Everything has always been kept clean and well maintained. We really enjoy the convenience and location of this facility, and have used them for 12 years.
Definitely if you are looking for a reliable, safe and “clean” place with super friendly services I highly recommend this Simply self storage location. We previously received a recommendation for this place, however I am surprised to see the continuous willingness to serve customers. Amazing Staff! there is a person who is in charge of this place who really makes you feel like She cares about the customers. Miss Diane is always willing to help!

I have been with this location for close to 4 years, in several different units. During that time I prolly lost my passcode 20 times, had to have my lock cut off 5 times and have constantly had to go to Diane for some kind of help. She is AWESOME! she never made me feel silly for constantly needing help with something. or losing something . she was ALWAYS happy to help and always had a smile on. I'm sure I tested her limits of patience but she never made me feel like it. 😁😁😁Diane is the BEST!!

I've had a storage unit at this location for over a year now, and it has been the best experience of any storage I have used by far. The unit, hallways, and property are clean, and the climate control has been much cooler than my experience at another brand, even in the summer.
