I had literally gone to the public storage location on Broadway and then the location across the street and both were closed during normal business hours. fortunately I came to this location and OJ was there and ready to help. He provided great customer service and went the extra mile.
had a unit here since 2015. the cost of the unit went up about $20 each year. last summer the cost jumped up $60! i was now paying more than double what is being charged to new renters. i cleared out my unit and turned in both keys, then received an email stating i still owed for the next month because i failed to inform the office prior to the 1st. i will NOT pay this company one cent more and have taken my business elsewhere.
Amazing facility at a low price. They keep the area nice and clean, and I regularly see them going around in golf carts to maintain the area.

Transferring a unit from one person to another, who are both present at the office, and with valid TX DLs, shouldn't be some kind of AP Calculus math problem. (BTW - they don't even offer ownership transferring any longer...). My unit was broken into (they drilled out the $20+ tax lock they require you to purchase for their units; you cannot use your own even if it's better. Luckily, whoever hit my unit must have been pretty saddened once they gained access... There are only 4 VERY heavy pieces of furniture inside. So, obviously, they got nothing and I got a notice my unit had been compromised and that I'd need to inspect the inside of it to make sure nothing was taken and then, of course, buy a brand new $20 + tax lock to put back on to it (wonder how long this one will last?). Also, according to their lease agreement, one MUST have the unit insured either through their own private insurance or by paying an extra $15/month for Public Storages' own insurance plan. Well, I've had the unit over three years now, and not once was it HAVING to be insured mentioned. Had anything actually been stolen - I would definitely be taking the matter to small claims court.
Oh yeah - a review of the location.
Employees leave early. Take early lunches. Come back later from lunch than what they posted on the door. The vibe is a general: "I don't give a 5hit whether or not you get a unit from us." Also, the prices for the units can be almost double what is offered on their website. So, definitely set up leasing a unit through their website rather than showing up to their office and being given monthly premium rates that are basically insulting. $83/month for a 5' x 10' unit, that's outside and not temperature regulated? GTFOOH.
