The absolute worst storage company you can find. Extremely rude and incredibly inconvenient with their ridiculous policies. Door magnets don't work most of the time, carts are garbage with sticking wheels. People dump their garbage everywhere and they rarely clean anything.
We arrived at our storage unit to find that the lock on one side, (a lock provided by Public Storage), was changed. We were able to get in on the other side and unfortunately we found that well over a thousand dollars in belongings was stolen. We can't get in the other side to see what else was stolen but we can see items are broken. Seems it was an employee that opened our unit, stole our belongings, and changed the cylinder lock. Either that or our unit was broken into, the company knew about it, did not report it to us, and replaced our lock. No matter which way you look at it this company is clearly negligent.
Look to the low rating reviews and you will find quite a few reviews stating this location has a major theft problem.
My mom has her stuff her and it's the best! Best in monitoring and protection.

There is always something wrong with this place either the elevator doesn’t work or the gates are broken and manager doesn’t seem to want to work on it in a timely manner. Today 6/29/24 one or the gates is wide open for anyone to just come in and have access to your units … called customer service and they said all they’ll do is report it and nothing more….this place needs better management to maintain this place ASAP

I love this place!!! Corina helped me with renting my first unit and she has THE BEST customer service in the biz. She was polite and patient as I didn’t know what I was doing. When it can time to move my house hold goods I forgot how much stuff I had accumulated, so I had to rent another unit. By the end of the day I had to rent 3 units just so I’m able to walk around and sift through my things to move to the new house (which is a whole lot smaller) Corina was there through the whole rental process and was as nice to me as the day I rented my first unit. Give that woman a raise!

I was having a very difficult time reaching somebody to resolve some issues about moving out, and I was pretty upset about it. I know Public Storage is going through some changes right now, and some of those changes were very frustrating to me, particularly about when I needed to move out by. I was getting charged on the third and fourth of the month because their autopay goes through on the second of the month. I did not know that I needed to be out of the space by the first in order to avoid being charged for the entire month. Luckily, I was able to reach Curtis at this location and he was able to clear things up and get everything sorted out so that I would not be charged for the entire month, I’ve probably spent about $60,000 in my two years with Public Storage because I rented many spaces and ran my business out of one of their offices/ Suites. I was very fortunate to come across Curtis and he really takes customer service seriously. I’m sure if you meet him you will be very happy with the service that he runs with Public Storage. Thank you so much for clearing up the problems that I was having! It is difficult to get good customer service these days and this guy really knows customer service . :)

3rd rate hike and we received notice less than a month before it is to take place. Nearly $700 a month and less than 2 years ago it was in the $400's. If you want random rate hikes with extremely short notice this is the place for you. I think they hook you with cheaper prices in the beginning and then raise them on you. I will be moving my belongings out as quickly as I can. Almost $700 a month is absurd.

The storage itself is okay in regards to pricing and sizes, but they have a huge theft problem. If you value your items DO NOT USE this location. I have reported the theft many times, the police nor the storage do anything. I have personally witnessed the guy who breaks in plenty of times as I live down the road and sometimes pass by late at night and he is often there while the place is closed. If you're unit gets broken into 2/22/24 he is there again using the side doors and parks his SUV at the gas station next-door as to not draw attention. Its very unfortunate and unfair to the people who have lost their belongings to this guy.
If you value your property, do NOT store it here under any circumstance. Not only does this place have the worst maintenance and security, but they raise your rate for no justifiable reason. The four wheel carts they’re supposed to provide are rarely ever available. The elevator is always malfunctioning and it takes them forever to address it. The internal doors are left ajar numerous times a month. The employees perform the security checks with their eyes closed because how else can they miss the mounds of trash and broken locks and bolts littering the floor? The upper third of every storage unit is exposed to theft by simply climbing up and over, and the bolts on the locking mechanism are not tamper proof. All anyone needs is a crescent wrench and the entire assembly comes right off with minimal effort. BOYCOTT THIS FACILITY.
This storage facility is clean but could be better. The carts are non-existent. I've looked on every floor. The facility is supposed to be climate controlled, but when I went a few times, I thought I would burst into flames upon entering the 3rd floor. If you have any issues with the lock on your unit and request to have it replaced, I suggest you purchase a magic 8 ball to figure out what day of the month their locksmith is their to cut the lock off. Appearances can be deceiving. I picked this place because of the location and cleanliness... everything turned out to be trash.

They do not have any kind of transparency with pricing whatsoever. I was even told it was due to “trigonometry” so there’s that. They wanted to charge me $200 to downsize my unit lol. Left for another facility who is more upfront about pricing.

does your property manager even work ? Chris wouldn't even get up from his seat to show us where our storage was. that place is a maze and a mess . Facility is very dirty unit was dirty there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. We couldn't even get any useful help from Chris very rude and unprofessional. He told us where to go telling us the 1st floor not understanding that there is a basement , but had he helped us find it instead of being on his phone would have been great. Horrible management.

curious is very unprofessional n not helpful at all . walked in to get info on our new unit n he was on his phone n couldn't even show us where the unit was cause he was obviously too busy on his phone. he needs a new job cause customer service is not his job obviously. maybe if they spent more time cleaning the facility it's dirty n we don't have any carts to utilize. do not rent here
My storage unit got broken into recently, along with multiple other units on the same floor. Locks were “replaced” due to the “doors being left unlocked” with no notice. When reporting the incident we were just told we could be given an incident number for the insurance policy, and that was all. We weren’t told anything else, and weren’t allowed to view cameras ourselves. The day I reported my robbery, there were 3 others reported that day, and a couple more the following days while I was there. When talking to police they stated that there has been so many break ins at this specific location for over 2 years.
I found one of my items on the floor (no where near my unit) a couple days after the incident, and when telling the property manager, she replied “oh that’s weird” and continued on.
They have a outage to the gates, no access to the storage units. However, the front office has power.
Never answer the phone. I’ve been calling since last Friday
Worst storage experience EVER in my 50+ years of life.
Went to look at storage the other day and the employee, Misty, was super helpful and had a great personality! 10/10 Would recommend.
Update:
The district manager Cameron called me directly and apologized for this confusion. He provided guidance and a way forward so that the business relationship can continue. He provided a credit, and was able.for me to cancel the insurance which is what I only wanted to begin with. Also, an employee from the local unit called me and also apologized for this situation. It's good to know that businesses still value the customer and want to make things right when it doesn't go right. Thanks Cameron and staff to correct this issue.
Got a statement that added 15 for insurance to my bills. When I signed up the lady told me she could remove it, and not to worry, I informed them I didn't need that insurance since it was just my daughter's college dorm stuff. Fast forward to next month get the bill and now it's 73 dollars a month not the 58 as agrred upon. I call up to let them know I didn't want the insurance, and the guy over the phone told me it's a requirement, also in the lease agreement. I said but you have an employee telling people she could remove it so it's not forthcoming of information, I would like it removed. He then said " ma'am I just work here" well no kidding, so can you fix it? He said not unless you have a home owners policy that would cover it...again the lack of customer service, knowledge given to you when you sign the agreement and the lack of transparency of correct information is why I am pulling my daughter's stuff out of Public storage and will never be using their company again. This guy was not only rude, but condescending to me and needed some customer service knowledge that he didn't possess. Need to get all your staff on the same page so the customers do not feel like they are getting charged for things they didn't want or sign up for. Zero stars for customer service!

Why does this location on potranco never answer the phone? I call several times a day all within business hours and no one ever answers. I don’t get to speak to someone unless I go to the actual location which is still not guaranteed because sometimes the office will be closed during business hours (not during regular lunch times either).

The storage place my wife and I went to was very nice and clean and the employee there was so nice my wife told me to leave a review too!
My husband and I went in to look at a storage space in case we need to store a few things while we move. Misty helped us figure out what size would be best for us to get within our budget and was super nice. I will definitely be using public storage if we end up needing to store things.
Misty was extremely friendly. She answered my questions and helped me destress about when I need to get my unit!

This place has MANY issues!! I've only been there like 3 months n first time ever at storage place. Everything is always BROKEN! Gates- elevators- this location is like brand new, yet nothing ever works! I paid extra to be close to elevator n i have to use opposite elevator waaaaaaaaaaaay on OPPOSITE side!!! Dont go here!!! Stay away!! This main

All i have to say is they really need to fix the elevators at this location bc they're always broken or super slow. Oh and the whole putting in the code every time you want to go up is ridiculous.
My stuff was stolen in my unit and they have been no help and neither is the “insurance” provider they make you pay for. They never answer and if they do it’s the only employee that runs it(who is nice) but can’t handle all of it in her own. I was never notified with tampering of my unit and have received no answers in regards to getting my stuff back. Never again will I use this place. Also no one EVER answers the phone.
Storage is secure and easy to get to. The process was easy to get through and love that you can pay online. Overall we are happy with renting this storage. Recommend to others looking for a convenient and secure storage.
Cindy was a beast! She was able to help out multiple customers at once and was extremely friendly. Showed me around the facility and to the unit I rented. Cindy helped me get the best deal for the unit while being upfront about everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better person in the office!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ! MY THINGS WERE STOLEN! Do not rent here. You can find a review here a few weeks earlier saying their things were stolen too which tells me the owners knew and didn’t bother warning anyone else. There are no cameras covering the halls except the ones at the entrance. The “anti-theft” bar was bent at the top of my unit which means they’re useless. The units don’t have alarms either. When I asked what they would do, they literally just said “whoops sorry to hear that” and gave me a paper to file with their terrible insurance. I tried to tell them about other units that looked to be broken into and they dismissed it. The place is never cleaned or maintained either and they do change prices last minute. Just an absolute nightmare experience, should’ve left a long time ago and now its too late, my things were stolen. Devastated! Attached is the bar for my unit and two other units that looked broken into.

Problems with their elevators very frequently. Today I can't even gain access to my unit all floor levels are working except for the 4th level. Elevator stops at 3rd floor
I didn’t like it here. They don’t have enough carts to load our stuff. We tried looking for a cart at 2 different times and still nothing.
This property is very shady and I highly recommend take you’re business else where. The GM of the property is very rude and disrespectful. The facility is poorly maintained and there’s never anyone in the front office.
Do not waste your time go to Life Storage. Public storage will give an awesome rate then turn right around within 5/6 months and jack up the bill by $100 without telling you anything. No courtesy phone call, no text message. This is why they are losing customers everyday and every week. They have a disclaimer in their paperwork, “rates may increase at anytime”. This company lies about giving you access until 9pm to move your things out and turn off access at 730pm. I will never use their service again.
IF YOU HAVE STUFF HERE GET IT OUT THEY ARE INFESTED WITH ROACHES on all floors I have plenty videos of them running around taken 9/22/22

I rented a nicely sized 10×15 unit to fit my entire house and still had space. Very clean. And access is easy as pie!

This location is worse than the last one.. People running the desk are rude and have attitude. I would choose any other storage units besides Public Storage. The elevator is broken but the female worker acted like I was lying about the elevator not working. I was stuck inside for only a few minutes because someone else came and opened from the outside.. The same worker even called me a liar. Unbelievable..
