I am a tenant at Housman location. I rented an additional unit for business and we couldn’t utilize the unit because our equipment would not fit in the elevator. The manager at Housman was rude and didn’t care to hear me out. She vacated my unit and then told me I still had to pay the bill even though we couldn’t move into the unit. After asking to speak with a manager above her I received a call from Kyle who is the district manager. He was extremely professional very understanding and he made arrangements to have Kris contact me to help me with my storage needs. Kris was very prompt in calling me. She was extremely professional very polite and extremely helpful. Her and Kyle’s customer service are top notch. They are great examples of the type of people public storage needs to represent their business. I was right in the middle of writing a horrible review about public storage but it wouldn’t be fair to judge them based on the performance of one employee. Hopefully they address that because the Housman public storage location is a beautiful top notch location. Thank you Kris and Kyle ! I won’t be moving any time soon ! 🤩
Great experience, Christine is the best she offers solutions and has great customer service. She takes the time to listen and she actually cares if my problem is solved. I have used other locations an this by far is the best one.
Follow up : Was having some issues with my billing and Christine went above and beyond to help me. She is always on top of things and returns my calls. Wish she was in office more we like to stop and say hi but we know she is always going to other locations to help out. She's the best.
Still here happy customer with my unit, my light went out and Christine to the rescue again drug out the best.
Elevator was out and Boss Lady Kriss in office had it fixed immediately. Helped make moving in large pieces of furniture easy to the 3rd floor. If I could give 10 stars I would.

From day 1 when I met Donna, an assistant weekend manager at this location, I felt an instant camaraderie. She is friendly, super helpful and is the epitome of what customer service stands for.
I ran into Donna today with a smile on her face, as always, as she was cleaning hallways and empty storage units, clearly demonstrating that she is a team player who can wear many hats. Not everyone is willing to do that anymore nor are they naturally approachable, genuinely attentive and sincerely care about their customers but Donna sure does!
Case in point: I had a little mishap moving things around in my unit and broke a glass bottle. Donna quickly came to the rescue to clean up “my mess”. Thank you Donna!

Great new facility with great prices and very nice service.
Only downsides are that they don't have more than a 42" door to the outside and their cars for moving things only come in a small size - maybe 24x36? Their prices have tripled since we moved in.
The corners are a little tight for large items like couches but everything is well lit, lots of security cameras and two elevators that are all commercial loading type elevators but very slow.
Kriss was extremely knowledgeable and efficient throughout the office visit. She was friendly and compassionate about the questions I had.
Drove by for a possible future rental. Property was well maintained, gates were all functioning I did see cameras which are a big plus.
The lady that helped me renting a storage space was very helpful and patient with me. It was my first time renting a storage space and she answered all my questions. Thanks for the incredible customer service. I’m glad I chose this location.
Great directions
Nice place, clean, and big. But how do the employees get paid if they only show up for scheduled appointments? The office is always empty, and there's no answer except for an automated voice mail that no one ever listens to because your call never gets returned. It's really annoying at times.
Dawn was so helpful and informative. The place is very clean and organized. I haven’t even moved into the storage unit yet but I love this place! This will definitely be the only storage place I’ll use.
One of the elevators has been out for months or atleast everytime I went to my storage it has been out of order and I had to walk alot more to get my stuff out of there . The other elevator was on opposite corner, has no inspection date displayed anywhere, and shakes. Your lucky if you find someone in the office or two working gates. They do clean up right away if someone has left a mess, I'll give them that atleast. Finding a cart is not easy sometimes. They tend to all be in a corner on the 1st floor. Also lights seems to have a delay on motion sensors early in the morning. So expect dark hallways.
I rented here for the free month special and close proximity to my apt but it would have been worth a longer drive at a different storage. Don't recommend this public storage location and won't be coming back here again that's for sure

Jenn, at the Vance Jackson location Friday afternoon, provided the best customer experience anyone could ask for. She was incredibly organized and effortlessly efficent! Jenn provided me with options to resolve an issue. In addition, Jenn was very pleasant and didn't rush me even though it was near closing time. I hope Public Storage realizes what an asset they have in Jenn and perhaps consider her for a promotion or to train others.

Do not store your things at this facility. My storage unit was broken into, and alot of my stuff was stolen. I learned when I called the police that several units had been broken into. Mine wasn't the only one. This is not a safe facility.

Best storage place I’ve been to so far! John is incredibly professional and courteous and made sure I was taken care of. He went above and beyond for me and I’ll keep my business here just because of him. The only thing that was a little discomforting was that the facility was hot. During this time of year walking in should be cooler than outside. My only downside about the facility was that. Other than that John is super great!

They tell you if you bring your lock the refund you the money back for the lock they offer but if you bring the big circular lock they say no they want the small cylinder lock and you bring the cylinder they want the other one so what's the point of offering to refund back money if you won't have the right lock

Break in monthly as we were told by the Manager. But never warned the day of Rental. They broke into my storage a month ago and several others. I filed a police report and Claim. I honestly think the Manager has something to do with it because it’s an on going thing. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to rent here. Cameras facing only entrances and not storages.

Great storage place
This property and property manager are horrible. The gate is consistently left wide open. And pir storage among many others was broken into and robbed. and the Company isn't doing anything about it not even helping us with rent payments that we already struggle on. Do not do business with this facility or any public storage. I have video proof of the gate being left open after business hours.

Only one gate works and no carts or dolleys to help bring stuff in
Management are rude and dont know what they are doing. They even go so far as telling lies about policies and storage laws. Security is a joke and they offer now carts to help move your property.
