Just rented my very first storage unit today and Max could not have been more helpful! He gave me a great orientation to the property and the self-storage process, and was so kind and welcoming. Seems like a great, secure location, with so many units that have excellent access. Public Storage is lucky to have an amazing employee like Max!

Want to give a special thank you to Max for helping us and aiding us in making sure we had everything we needed. He was super knowledgeable and made sure he went over all the storage and property rules. He took time to make sure we had everything we need for our moving day and even checked the storage unit we rented out with us! Highly recommend this place!

So my husband and i just moved to san antonio and we needed storage immediately and we came to public storage for information on a unit,gabby, the associate who helped us and went above and beyond with what i was looking for!!! I’m so impressed with Gabby! On multiple occasions I have come to her with an “insurmountable storage” need. She always finds a good solution. Great service! Great attitude. She’s an asset to all of her customers!

Zero stars. Within about a year and a half rent for a 5x5 went from $21 to $35 to $40 then to $46. The same unit is currently listed at this location and others for $21-$25. I guess the longer you stay the more you get screwed over. Nice way to treat your customers.

Miss Gabby was very helpful in answering my questions for when my nephew arrives. She gave me all the needed imformation without sounding robotic or annoyed with my millions of questions. My, how things have changed! And not for the best. My prior 5-star review (see below) was written after a very satisfactory experience with the manager of this location at the time, named Michelle. Well, we had the occasion to rent storage again when a job opportunity came up in Atlanta, and so of course we went back to Public Storage. Michelle signed us up for a space that was perfect for our relocation needs, and soon the move began. Literally one week after securing our space, and with packing underway, the location went under new ownership and Michelle was fired. We were not notified of the change, which normally wouldn’t be a concern, except for one small detail: they didn’t hire anyone to replace her, and the key to our unit, which was supposed to be picked up the day we moved in, was sitting in a locked office with no one available to retrieve it. It took several hours to locate the new owner and to make arrangements to open the office to secure our keys for the unit we had rented. Those hours added up and caused us to incur additional hours with our movers and those additional moving expenses were denied reimbursement. The new owner simply did not care enough to staff the office, and we were LITERALLY locked out. With all our belongings completely boxed and waiting to be loaded into the space, we had no option but to wait. Finally, to add insult to injury, our rates were jacked up 2 times in less than 1.5 years, each time by more than 20%. By the time we moved everything out last month, we were paying over $500 per month for an un-air conditioned space. Our rent, which had started at just over $300 per month, went briefly to $425, and ended up at $523 per month in the span of just 16 months, and worse, because we were relocated to Atlanta, we had no choice but to pay. Appeals and requests for information on the ‘appraisal’ process went unanswered. We did get a one-month reprieve on the last hike, but it kicked in with no explanation provided. There are much better locations, I’m sure, and much better prices as well, but I will NEVER use Public Storage again. A VERY dissatisfied customer. If I could give zero stars, I would. __________ Prior review: My wife and I downsized last year and had to make storage arrangements while we did some remodeling and constructed a shop. In the midst of that, we also had to make arrangements for my father-in-law's move to a care facility. Needless to say, it was important to us that we have a solution that was flexible and could accommodate a lot of changes. I've had the opportunity to use storage facilities before, but none were better staffed than this one. I really appreciated Michelle's help and how easy it was to get signed up and moved in. The other staff were friendly and attentive as well. I got to meet them during several visits to rearrange things as we got our new home organized. In all, it was a great solution - safe and secure, everything's back with us now, and check out was super easy. If I have to use a storage facility again, this will be the one! Thanks!
