Went in today to load up my unit, however, prior to arriving, I had called in as I had some questions regarding accessing my unit for the first time. Taylor answered my call and she was such a pleasure! She was extremely helpful and even more-so once I arrived to the property! This place is great and the manager Taylor is awesome! The customer care and support Taylor offers is unparalleled. We have rented here twice and have had great experiences both times. The units are air conditioned and there’s a code to get in so not just anyone can enter.
If you have any doubts, put them aside and go in and speak with Taylor.
Taylor who is the manager of this location saved me time having to go back and get my keys less than 30 minutes before this location closed. This manager deserves a raise and employee of the month.
I was greeted very pleasantly by Taylor who then went on to fulfill all of my requests. She even provided some relief on my monthly storage bill which I’ve had for several years. She also help with replacing my lock and providing additional storage information. All in all it was very pleasant experience. Taylor is awesome and seems to be a go-getter.
OMG!!! My girlfriend and I flew in from Maryland to clean out her storage unit. We thought this would be simple process but past evil spirits made this clean out miserable!!!! BUT with help of Taylor, Kim and Kejuan, every obstacle that we faced they were there to help us every step of the way. From getting a lock off the unit to assuring us that every will be ok management could not have thought these three employees this type of customer service. This was something that these three employees just have in their souls. My girlfriend Elvera and I truly appreciate their generosity and if we're ever in Texas again we will certainly stop by to hello to them!!! FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES!!!!

Stopped in today to go to my storage unit, and Taylor couldn't have been more friendly, smiley, and helpful. I had forgotten the code to get in, and she helped me sort it out. We have two storage units, and feel so comfortable with having our belongings there. The building and hallways are always clean and tidy, and they have dollies to help you bring your stuff in or out.
Too often people write a review to complain (and that's certainly a valid thing to do when you've had a bad experience), but I wanted to take the time and give Taylor a shout out, as she was a pleasure to interact with. The company certainly needs to hold on to her!
We had an issue with our lock and Taylor was very communicative making sure I understood the problem and ways to fix it. She went out of her way to replace the lock and overall in great timing. Best customer service experience!
So I broke my key in a cheap lock that I got from another storage unit and Taylor literally took me to my unit cut the lock off and gave me a new one in like 10 minutes !!! Customer service here is amazing and she definitely makes me feel like my things are safe in this storage !

I've been a "tenant" of Public Storage in Richmond for a few years now, and as has happened all over, my rent was continuing to rise. I didn't want to have to move but the next increase was just too much. Many thanks to Taylor, Kim, and crew for working with me for a solution. They are truly caring and attentive. And the place is still clean, orderly, and well lit. Love it here, would recommend to everybody.

This is my second time renting here and I love this location. This second time I’ve had to have help due to user error 😂 and Taylor is the BEST she so nice, attentive, and professional. They have 2 carts. We have been here several times today and yesterday and have to leave because we can’t take our stuff up 5 flights of stairs. I do go to yoga several times a week, but give me a break!
I love this area, but RUDE people are moving in and using the only 2 carts this place has.
AND an elevator is out, but they won’t disable it until it’s fixed, so every time you want to go up, you have to wait until someone comes down, or the stupid BROKEN elevator opens up. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Not only is the place great because of how easy it is to signup and get started but Carolyn makes it even better with her incredibly effortless natural customer service. She is a darling who didn’t react negatively to my anxiety and instead expertly calmed me down in an instant and did it all with a smile on her face and walked me through the steps to get to my locker and stayed until I gave her the thumbs up. BEWARE!!! My unit was broken into twice.. I left several messages for a manager to call me back. ITS been a month and not one person has called me back about it. Stay away from this location or in fact any public storage. The district managers, ceo, customer service don't care about your belongings and will never provide customer service!!

Without any notification they are increasing the rent from 39 to 90$ more than double even the storage attendant told me yes and maybe triple just moving out

I recently came in for a 5'x10' storage room. Tanya was very patient, I had never reserved a storage room before but she made the process very easy and accomodating to what I needed. I preffered to come in person to get it done and she definitely made the process much easier then expected, if you need someones help at Public storage Tanya's the one I'd recommend anyone to, very professional.

Beware of the rate increases. I went in under an introductory rate. In 2 months my rate increased by more than $20. I spoke with property increase? I also spoke with area management. The office staff was very pleasant and helpful. Yet the area management staff was as dumb as a box of rocks. Could not explain why I had such a huge increase in 2 months time. Plus her attitude to help was very dry and unwelcoming. I know others in the same storage facility as mine and their increase was only by $7 to $8 and they initially paid more than me. So how does someone paying more than me get only a $7 increase and I get a $20 increase? It just doesn't sound right. Also they will not provide you with a number to the corporate office. These are hard times and they need to be a bit more respectful and helpful. I do understand prices increase but not by $20 on a storage!
