Excellent experience with Public Storage. Corey, Ivan, and Kyle are professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They were transparent and upfront about pricing and the entire process, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. The facility is clean, well-managed, and secure, and I feel very safe storing my belongings here. The prices are genuinely great—almost a third of the cost of another facility just down the road—with no surprises or hidden increases. I highly recommend this location if you want fair pricing, security, and outstanding customer service.

Having previously rented from Public Storage in a different state, I tried a more local company when we arrived in Texas. When that facility suffered a series of break-ins, including my unit being burglarized and the loss of my property, I went to the nearest Public Storage whom I'd trusted and had suffered no such loss before. The closest facility actually directed me to the one slightly further down the road due to its enhanced security features, to ensure I would suffer no further loss. The staff member didn't need to do that, and I was impressed with her sympathy and conscientious recommendation. The other facility's manager was polite, professional, and efficient, even waiving the lock fee since I had a lock but wouldn't implement it until I moved my possessions over. That simple step saved time and annoyance of paying for something up front and then having to refund it after moving in; the manager understood my situation and acted in a caring and practical manner. The facility is clean, well-lit, seems very secure (even the elevators require personalized code), and my anxiety of future theft has been reduced.

wow! i had a specific issue for my autopay and needed to add a new card. i was able to schedule an appointment and the property managers got back with me quick for meeting up. very fast! otherwise it’s a big property middle of Plano with a drive in building. thank you Evan and Cory!!!

EDIT: After we left, the staff in the center contacted a higher manager who worked hard to find us a solution. It still involves moving units due to corporate limitations, but I deeply appreciate the additional effort they have gone through to make it right. We will be continuing at this location knowing they do care about their renters, even when it isn't easy for them to do it. An absolutely infuriating experience with a. Otherwise exemplary facility. We have had multiple units leased here for several years, but the rate has increased to more than double what you can rent an identical unit for as a new customer. The staff have no access to help make it right other than a paly $80 discount. Corporate has intentionally made it so they only way to get a fair rate is to move units, which isn't always possible. A new lease is $175 but we were paying more that $380 for an identical unit. We will be looking at alternative options after 6+ years of loyalty

5 stars for Trey. Trey went out of his way to help us resolve a pricing issue. He promised to do everything in his power to make sure that we were taken care of in a situation that we had felt initially was not right. And he kept that promise. He was understanding, attentive and prompt. He got the issue resolved within 24 hours and called to follow up for assurance that all was taken care of. Thank you Trey, great customer service.

Sometimes a place is only as good as the employees running it. Evan is a charming young manager with his head on his shoulders and an encyclopedia of customer service when it comes letting me know as much as I need to know to feel comfortable putting my stuff in storage. Love, love, love this place They have 1st month, $1 special and monthly is great price. You can drive in, park, use dolley, then use the app to leave. The place is ultra clean, easy accessibility, and air-conditioned. The managers have great service and through. They answered all my many questions with ease. Dude went above and beyond for me when he did not have to, and was so kind and understanding for the situation I'd found myself in. The storage unit building is always clean, with flat bed carts to use and large elevators to get to the floor you need.

Second Follow-up: Hoping that the District Manager who reached out to me after I left the unfavorable review will contact me again. Today I received a notice from Allied Interstate LLC (a debt collector) that said I owed them the amount that was refunded to me. Follow-up: The same day I left this review a District Manager reached out to me to find out the details of this situation. After discussion the monthly charge was reversed and he assured me that there was a breakdown at the "We Care" call processing center - my call should have been forwarded to him and he would have reversed the charge at that point. The DM wanted to assure me that Public Storage is a people-centered business and their reputation mattered to them. I greatly appreciate Public Storage reaching out to me after leaving my review and doing what many would consider "the right thing." ______________________________________________________________ Does a storage company that does the right thing exist? FIRST lesson learned: climate controlled does not mean A/C. My unit was a 10x25 first floor unit which was very convenient as I could drive up to it, however, I wouldn't say it was climate controlled. That is not the real issue - just want to help educate anyone reading this. MOST IMPORTANT lesson learned: I moved out on the 1st of the month - because my apartment lease (like so many others) started on the 1st. Speaking to the PS employee onsite I was given a "We Care" phone number to discuss the possibility of waiving or prorating the rent for the 30 1/2 days I would not be occupying the unit. I called the number and was told there was no way that would happen. Not waiving or prorating the monthly rent is a deliberate act on this company's part to take advantage of individuals and their situations. I can only imagine the number of others that have met the same demise of being unable to move into a new place until the 1st of the month...and those same people have moved out of their storage place on the 1st and have been forced to pay the entire months rent? I occupied the unit less than 1% of the month and was charged 100% of the rent. Additionally there is a good chance that my unit will be rented out again prior to the end of the month and they will collect a second rent for the same space. Public Storage corporate should be ashamed of taking advantage of people - many of whom may find themselves in desperate need of the money that a greedy corporation takes from them "because they can."

My experience with Jill and the staff was excellent! I rented a storage for about 2 1/2 years and they were always willing to assist me with any issues or concerns.

Jill really helped us by adjusting our online reservation to a unit that worked much better for us without losing our online rate. Very much appreciated!

Jill was such a help, super professional. Honestly the workers are so transparent and are FOR the customer and their interests when it comes to the deal of getting a storage. I highly appreciate that. It is a new location. Very clean, they have been here for 4 years and have great management running this location.

Overall easy to make reservations and access the units - Jill is a great help! Only downside right now is that the back exit is broken (has been for a while). Takes quite a while to exit with a trailer.

Great facility, helpful and friendly staff, fantastic overall experience. We've rented a unit here for years and with the recent change of ownership the business has remained excellent. I went into the office on 3/26/22 to sign my new rental agreement (which you can do online), and both staff members (Jonathan & Jill) were extremely helpful and made the experience very quick and easy. I recommend that anyone looking for a storage facility use this business.
