Clean location and great customer service!
I just finally moved back into Houston area and decided with this place since usually I just leave all of my stuff into my fathers place and im 22 and my first time ever getting my own storage unit and Katlynn (im hoping im spelling her name right ) she was very patient and caring and understanding the stress I was going through and needing extra time since I was multi tasking plus she made me laugh so a win for a win
as comparing some storages and decided to come here to talk and Katilyn went an extra mile to help me , decided to do business with them & haven’t had no issue whatsoever , pretty good business I’d say.

Wouldn’t recommend. They go up on your monthly bill randomly and all my stuff was on climate control and it all got filled with mold. Anytime you need someone in person they’re useless. Elevators are always messed up.

"I recently had to bring more stuff to my storage unit at this facility and had a very disappointing experience. None of the elevators were working, and there was a sign indicating that we could use the stairs during business hours. However, when we tried to access the stairs, we found them locked and inaccessible to get to the 2nd floor.we got locked in and had to use the emergency exit and walk around the whole building back to the inside are to let the others out. This made it extremely difficult and could not get into my unit. I had to yet make another trip and figure out where I am going to store my items until this is handled. I hope the management can address these issues promptly to improve the experience for future customers."
THE SERVICE WAS OKAY.
BUT THERE'S A SAFETY ISSUES WITH THE LIGHTS NOT WORKING AND MOVING IN WAS A PAIN IN THE BUTT.THE FOLLOWING WEEKNI CAME BY TO ORGANIZE MY BELONGINGS AND STILL NO LIGHTS BEEN FIXED.

When I first started looking for a storage unit I called around and first thing was when one of the three wonderful staff helped me rent over the phone so I could save the time getting moved in. It’s been a while but I think her name was Kaitlyn. Very professional.
After getting lost and forgetting my access code every time, the other girl who I’ve seen Raelyn was super nice and helped me out, especially when I needed my lock cut from losing keys. She had someone to get it removed by the end of that month, fantastic!
Last shoutout to Diana for helping me transfer my account from one unit to another after that hurricane rolled through. Super grateful for all the service and support from an absolute A+ team

*** Please read before making a decision*** I got my unit with public storage in May 2021. They lured me in with $1 first month and $67 a month for a 10×10 on the 3rd floor (See attached pictures). It's now May 2024, and I just made a $145 payment for this unit. My June bill is going up to $191, No joke. I've tried to speak with the property manager and call customer service to dispute my rate increase. All of which were denied. The lack of customer satisfaction seems company wide. If a long term customer who has kept up with his payments gets this kind of red carpet treatment then they can keep it. If there are any other stories like mine , just share with others. I will be moving to another unit closer to my house and on the 1st floor for a 3rd of the price. I made sure to have a conversation with the new property manager about the rate increase and recorded the conversation for quality and training purposes.

I have rented at multiple other PS locations. This one has taught me to take my business elsewhere and no longer use PS. After A MONTH AND A HALF of having my belongings in the unit i went to retrieve my items just to find about 80% of my items damaged due to a rat infestation which led to my things being chewed on, pissed on and pooped on. I was given a pamphlet to call the insurance and file a claim. Unfortunately the insurance coveres little to nothing for "Vermin Damage" upon notifying them the only answer i got was the rental agreement has a store at your own risk clause. Which i highly doubt covers a company having a rat issue. To be upset and heartbroken is an understatement. I have lost everything and am now sitting in an empty apartment due to this loss.
Please do not use this place. Your losses mean nothing to them.

Where do I even begin. This is the first time I ever rented a storage unit. I don’t think anyone has had this much trouble for a storage unit. For one when I got the storage unit, I didn’t realize that there was a whole other business next door. When I had a whole moving truck during the public storage business hours, nobody was there at first to help me out when my code didn’t work. The employee drove into the parking lot and sat in her car. I knocked on her door to see if she could help me because I had movers who were on a time schedule just waiting. She got out of her car and told me she was at the other location that’s why nobody was there and looked up my account and told me it was the next facility over. Secondly after maybe 3-4 months of having the storage, they raised my rate $40 more. When I got a call from the manager asking why I wanted to leave my storage unit I told her about the price and she did lower it. Third, I was completely inconvenienced trying to retrieve the rest of my stuff because my code didn’t work. I would use the app and it would open the gate but then it wouldn’t open the doors. Fourth, when my code wasn’t working and finally got a hold of the front desk I had to drive all the way back to the first facility since it’s a couple of blocks before the second facility (if you drove it you would understand the frustration especially since the beltway feeder is down to one lane) just to get a temporary code. The next week I used my temporary code because my code still didn’t work, but my temporary code didn’t work either. I called public storage corporation and got another temporary code but still didn’t work. Now my fifth final complaint, when I called corporate for the temporary code that didn’t work they transferred me to the property manager. She was nice enough to give me a discount but then talked to me like I was stupid because she didn’t understand how my app opened the gate but didn’t open the doors. I told her I used my original code and the temporary one and it didn’t work. She then told me the temporary codes have all been deleted because of the lock code box issue. She talked to me like I was suppose to know that or something. And proceeded to tell me after talking to me like I don’t know what I’m doing, that the doors should be open because the code lock box is broken. When she told me to pry open the doors to get in because they’re supposed to be open was the absolute final straw. How safe do you think your stuff is when you can pry open the doors to the facility??? At least it was clean I guess. Only when they cleaned up other peoples junk by the doors they leave out after a week.

We had an advanced signing, and no one was there to let us in. Then they changed the unit on us because the entry gate door was broken. They moved this into another area and gave us a deal because of all the headaches. Huh, We finally got our rental unit in the very back, in the very corner, the very opposite side of the entry door. A very long walk from front door space. Avery long walk .... Boo.

I really like how secure the building is and I do mean SECURE. Not only do you need a code for the gate, you need one for the door and elevator.

Carts are all in use by one person. Men's bathroom always out of order. Super hard to pull up to key pads. Just seems they want to make things difficult. Won't let you use other exit doors to unload closer to your unit

When I first got my storage unit it was $24, this was apparently an introductory price. Public storage never made me aware of that, and they soon doubled it to $48. Now they are attempting to raise it to $60 which is above average for the area

My grandmother was trying to find a storage place to store her belongings and came across this places she found online. The associate on the phone that helped her, did not notify us that the storage was on the third floor. My grandmother has a back issue that does not allow her to do this much walking. When this was discovered, we went to the office the next morning. We arrived at opening time, 9:30am, and the front personnel did not arrive until 9:45 am. Once entering, we asked the front desk to see if it would be possible to get a different storage on the first floor after explaing her condition. At first the front desk was helpful and understanding. We had a storage picked and started discussing the charges. She immediately stated that we would not get the $1 promotional anymore due to us having to transfer. She then stated that "we won't give you your money back" and would need to pay the full locker amount with none of the previous payment refunded or put to the new amount. After this, she stated there was nothing she could do for us, and placed the Customer service information sign on the desk and walked away. Upon calling customer service, she stated to the personnel on the phone that "..I didn't even get that far..". She then made it a purpose to ask the other women who had to help us, "you could not do the $1 charge, right?" After, the whole dispute. We felt she was bluntly rude, disrespectful, and not customer forward. She then went on to state that if we had gotten the transaction done earlier, we could of had the trolleys to help us unload. She also kept saying that because today was auction day, it was already stressful enough. I do not see how this corresponded with any of our transaction conversation. This is our first time using this service and more than likely our last.

I was picking up an auction unit online Susie and Jennifer were very helpful and made the process very easy everything was ready we met at the unit and cleaned it out the same day. There was a irate customer in front of us giving them a hard time over something that’s beyond their control what I can see they were following company guidelines and they were upset standing there arms folded and saying profanity because they couldn’t get a special of some sort . I was very happy with the service I had today very nice and professional staff thank you ladies !

She didn't take me seriously when i told her how my name is pronounced and she was holding in her laughter when i expressed how i felt about that. As for the storage place, there were only a few cars loading things but all the dollys were taken so the wait was annoying but manageable.
