I just wanted to say how great Nathan and Phillemon are at ur location on 3801 Hardin blvd in McKinney. Nathan gave me some info on transferring spaces. (Downsizing) when I went to actually transfer Phillemon was there to handle my needs with no hiccup. Went in to the office the next day to make sure everything was ok and Nathan was back. He asked me how the process went and if I had enough time and space to get everything done. So nice. Thanks to u guys and ur communication it was a breeze.

Well maintained, lit and offered multi lock options. However, we decided to stop renting here due to the monthly increases being about 250% higher over the span of 3 years.
The storage unit we rented was very inconvenient to reach and originally discounted. Over the past three years, our unit price began to well exceed what was posted as online prices for premium located units. Unfortunately, we couldn't work anything out with management for a more reasonable price so we left Public Storage.
For us, the money saved by switching storage vendors has more than paid for the moving costs plus the unit isn't in the back of the 3rd floor anymore. We literally saved time and money going with a different option. Double-check your prices - if you can work something out here, great but don't be afraid to check other storage rentals out nearby and be aware that Public Storage (previously Simply Self Storage) may raise the prices on your unit every 3-6 months (as was our experience).
My husband & I have been looking/researching for a storage unit as we are moving soon.
The young lady Kurstin, who assisted me, was very helpful and professional. She seemed sincere in all of her efforts to answer my many question’s. Customer service is lacking in today’s world, but not so with her.
If 10 stars were an option, that is what I would rate my experience!

They don’t even know what to charge so they just put any amount in the Payment Due Anount. I was not able to access my unit the other day, even though the lady in the office said nothing was wrong with the code or my account. She went in and did something to get it to work again and miraculously I get all these emails welcoming me to the “family” and my rent has gone up again by $50 in one month even though I have a contract that shows otherwise. Feels like a way for them negate my previous contract and create a new monthly payment to get more money out of me. DO NOT use this facility! Between rude office staff and ever changing bills you will regret your decision.
Since Public Storage took over, all they've done is raise rates. Now, after 3 months, they informed me my unit that currently goes for $218 without any online discount will be $360 starting next month!!! They raised my rate over $100 in a single month!! I got the same size unit, also indoors and air conditioned, for just over $100/month from a competitor. They did similar to me at a different location. Public Storage lives on name alone, hoping you'll pay more for the name. Don't be dumb! Shop literally anywhere else and get the same for less!!!

You have to press the code 3 different times to get up to the storage units; as you enter, in the elevator and when you leave. The elevator makes you type the code in every time you go up. And it’s not a simple code. It’s very small space in the elevator too so I advise floor levels and outside if you have large items. Some lights don’t work up in the hallways. The ones that require elevator excess are temp controlled. It’s a good method to keep out a would be thief. Just very inconvenient for constant trips when taking things out or loading.

Just rented storage space. Price was reasonable for the size. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. Talked us through the entire process and offered a really good price. Location is close and is secure.
Professional and courteous staff and an exceptionally clean facility.
The climate controlled building has safety protocol, of which I appreciate.
The only drawback is that the climate controlled building is a tad hot on upper floors -- needs just a little more air in circulation.

Called in looking for a storage until about a week ago, I got so busy with work and packing I forgot my storage move in date twice. Each time, the store manager Stephanie, called to check in and remind me. Finally, made it to the storage facility, Stephanie was even more charming and personable in person as she was on the phone. I could stay and chat with her all day!! So far great experience! We were in and out working minutes!! I would give 20 stars if I could!! Great customer service Stephanie!
