Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 747 Grapevine Hwy, Hurst, TX

I needed to rent a small storage and I had a little bit of a hiccup trying to select where exactly the unit would be located. I was able to call and speak with Janie, who helped me select the one I wanted and was super friendly and helpful. Then when we got there, it unfortunately was not unlocked yet. We called down to the office again and got fast and friendly assistance from Leo! He came up to help right away and didn’t just run off the second he unlocked it for us. He showed true hospitality and genuinely was interested in ensuring we had a good experience.

Friendly efficient service

We’ve been renting a space here for quite some time and they are CROOKS! Signed up for a $50/month for our unit originally, then looked at the bill some time later and it was $120 a month. We then called and if they had any units the same size. They offered us a unit two units down for the original price…. This happened MULTIPLE TIMES! Essentially they would drive up the price randomly so that we would be forced to either pay way more money per month or move all our stuff to a unit right beside ours. They do this because it is a total inconvenience for people to move and they want to take advantage of customers. The final straw was this month when they forced us vacate our unit early for “renovation” but then told us they will not prorate us for being forced to leave early when we have paid through the end of the month! Save yourself the hassle and don’t go here!!!

I am giving four stars because up until Teddy became manager, I've had multiple issues with this place! None of them pertain to the current management, which thank God they got. What I was dealing with: NO phone calls returned after leaving multiple messages pertaining to questions about my rent/late-fees, etc. I am very good with communication so it's extremely frustrating when I am dealing with people who AREN'T. ESPECIALLY when I am paying $173 a month, which originally started out at $120!! The voicemail message of the former manager or whoever it was claims that they care about your business and we'll get back to you. Never happens. With NEW manager, Teddy: I am heard. I receive prompt call backs aka ANY call back!! 😄 She handled both things she told me she would address with extremely prompt delivery. She explains things in detail and with patience. She's got a very professional and positive attitude. I am grateful that management has gained somebody who can accurately handle the clients. I hope she stays on through the duration of our business with this company.

We have been in a unit here for 2 years and service is great every time I needed someone. Teddi the new manager was very helpful with our transfer from one unit to another today.

Teddi, property manager, really came through for me. I needed help completing my reservation, there were some questions I had as I made my way through the process. She was sooooo patient and stuck with me and my poor computer skills. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a LONG time!!! Thank you!

Was a week and a half late and they drilled out my lock and said I needed to buy a new one. Also elevator traped me for 1 hour had to call Fire Department to get out

Whenever visiting, its either no carts are available before 6pm and after 6pm only 2 carts available and they are raggedy.

That guy with " Worst review." Is a liar and a man child. The manager on site was very helpful in explaining what size unit I should rent and not having to overspend. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

Please find a better one to storage your things cause these people definitely don’t care!! Worst storage place in the whole wide world! They get all of your money for years then you get one month behind then they go and sale it! Smh

The worst storage I ever rented from!! If I could give zero stars I would!! Who sales your storage less than 30 days!! Come on now!! I’ve been with the place over a year!! They are money hungry people and the manager talk retarded and slow!! I will be contacting my lawyer because she gone have to show me that it’s been pass 52 days instead of 30!! Property manager not in office; no number to reach them displayed; called main PS line, got number for PM; didn't pick up, didn't return message. If you're looking to preview/tour where you're going to be storing your things, you're SOL here.

Terry always go above and beyond to provide customers with a 10 star customer service. Amanda was also was very helpful with us with a great and fast service, in & out with no problems, thank you so much for such an amazing experience once again with this Public Storage location.

Very nice facility. Very clean. The security is good especially for a storage facility. If they have problems then I would look to others not following community rules.

Hello management and public storage. I have been a customer there for 3 plus years. My experience recently last 2 weeks has been superb. I had to downsize and needed to move my items. Unfortunately I left my unit unlocked as I travel for a living and for several days I was contacted by your young employee Brandi. Not only did she help me the entire week she kept me notified and made sure my unit was secure at all times. I will recommend my family members use your facilities due to honest attentive employees such as Brandi thank you.

I have several storage units at Public Storage locations and CubeSmart. The Public Storage at 747 Grapevine Hwy in Hurst is the only one I DON'T have issues with. They keep the place clean, they take care of computer and billing issues, they have a good attitude, and maintain excellent security. 👌

Brandi the agent here at grapevine hwy storage was so, so helpful, friendly, and full of positive energy. She was so pleasing I have no problem recommending Brandi to friends for their storage needs.

Brandi was able to help me with my storage that is at the Brentwood location. I made a reservation to move to this property now. Brandis customer service was exceptional and she was awesome. Looking forward to seeing her around the store.

Stopped by today and was greeted by Brandi she took me out to see a couple of units and helped me complete my rental today she made the process very easy

This is the worst storage facility. I rented a small unit and needed up not needing it. I processed a move out in 4/24/23. I never moved anything into the unit and no lock was ever placed. They manager at the actual storage unit Terry never processed the move out. Therefore, my bank acct was drafted on 5/3/23 for the monthly storage amount. I called on 5/4/23 and Terry emailed the Distrist Manager about this. She gave me the District Managers contact info. I have left several messages and asked for someone above Jessica which is Erica Travato and she never returned can’t calls either. I had to call customer service and they told me this still hasn’t been closed out as of 5/17/24. They emailed Jessica Moore the District Manager and wanted me to give 24-48 for me to get a response. The customer service rep also requested for a refund but until this gets completely closed out that won’t be processed. BEWARE WHEN RENTING FROM HERE!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM THE ACTUAL ONSITE REPS TERRY AND BRANDY AND THE DISTRICT MGR JESSICA MOORE ANS HER MGR ERICA TRAVATO.

Terry gives care to describing details of renting and is genuinely helpful, patient, and kind throughout the process. She is diligent and would be a great employee anywhere. Public Storage is blessed with her on the team!

I don't have a unit at this location, but it is the closest to where I currently live. I stopped in to pay the bill for the unit at a location, where I used to live. Brandi was so delightful and helpful. She is an asset to PS.

I reserved a unit online, rates were relatively low. I went to the office to finish my rental. Hello do you love me was very friendly and quick. I was pleasantly delighted with her efficiency.

I really wish that I could leave half a star for the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. (Yes that is a bit of an exaggeration) I’ve been trying to get a hold of a customer representative for my property manager for two days now even before the holiday and nobody answered. I’m just trying to ensure that I gave notice correctly and that my property manager will see it and seeing as how my property manager never responds to a voicemail, gives a call back and their door is currently locked when it says that they’re open online—should be a great indicator of how not great the customer service was.

Two words for this place and it's staff. Absolutely Amazing! I've been renting a storage unit here for over a year and even had to upgrade to a larger unit. Both Brandi & Terry have been absolutely wonderful! I found it interesting and also refreshing that even after a long day working on an Ambulance, coming in to pay my bill was quick and easy. No hassle, no attitude. I even noted how they were both warm welcoming and smiling just before they closed up. The energy, the vibes... it was all Good!! This place is has two entry points for easy access. It's also been clean all around the property & inside the building every time I've come through. This is another example of the good work Brandi & Terry do there! So thank you so much for having the best staff and a great place where I trust to keep my extra things. *I'll be leaving a Yelp review here soon as well, as I believe in sharing my reviews across the board. Especially with such a wonderful experience, it needs to be told & shared all around!

Facilities are nice. What you have to watch out for is rate hikes every 3-6 months. I started renting a 10x10 unit for around $110/month which was competitive for the area. Within 6 months they raised my rate to $136/month. I decided to stay because I already had stuff moved in and it was convenient to my house. 1 year after the rate hike, I get a letter in the mail informing me that they are going to increase my rate to over $150/month for the same unit. I checked online and they are charging new units of the same size as my unit for $136 so I called and got them to not increase my rate....at least for the next 3 months. This is ridiculous!! I'm looking to store things long-term not worry about moving my items after 3-6 months. Its okay to rent here but watch what corporate is doing with the rate of your unit!! I finally moved out. They were charging over $180 for the same j it I moved into 5 years earlier. Upon move out they don’t return phone calls nor issue a refund for the remaining amount of days left in the month. Rent elsewhere! Unacceptable way to treat customers who’ve been with them for over 5 years!!

Just moved here and called to enquire about availability. Terry answered the phone and I was immediately sold. My kind of place with employees like this. Then we met when I signed the rental agreement. Even more helpful and nice! Plus, the facilities are outstanding!

This is the best place for storage! The manager Brandi Melendez is so nice and caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure the property is clean and the customers are taken care of. I have been continuously charged for my old unit I moved out of and no one with this facility or public storage will answer or return calls. I’m so frustrated and have been taken advantage of. It’s wrong to treat people like this and take/scam them out of their money.

A place to store your stuff. The one we have is indoors, not climate controlled per se, but it doesn't get overly hot inside. Friendly staff. Recently, they raised the rates, but we were able to negotiate with them before the deadline.

We have rented at this location for over 20 years and needed to rent a second unit for more space. Brandi helped us make the experience a good one. Brandi was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Plus she has a beautiful smile. I highly recommend renting from this location and asking Brandi for any assistance.

Horrible continuous experience and would not recommend to anyone I don't know how many times I've shown up to find my storage unit inaccessible because something was wrong with the elevator or the electricity was off in the building. I talked to the management and they're more or less clueless and incapable of doing anything because they're basically caretakers. The best interaction I've had with this public storage facility was when I was walking down the corridors to my storage unit last year and slipped and fell in some kind of liquid. I believe it was some kind of fire retardation system from the overhead fire suppression system. I have lots of pictures. Fortunately I wasn't too badly injured but when I brought this the management's attention they didn't offer to take an accident report or to help or apologize in any way. They didn't say they would pass the information on to the district manager including my phone number and that they would reach out to me but that never occurred either. Before I get a response to this review by Public Storage or whatever company they have hired to handle their online reputation, here's how you resolve this: one months refund for the month of April. And apology for the lack of service and accessibility to my property over the 2 years that I've been contracting with you. Nothing else will surfice Update: it's been almost a week without a response from Public Storage. Obviously this is representative of their true attitude towards their customers. With the wide range of choices for storage facilities in this area I recommend people look elsewhere. This facility is cheap for a reason.

Shelley was most helpful and Got me signed up, and squared away despite Public Storage's computer software / IT crashing. Yes indeed it was frustrating, but Shelly still got the job done despite it all plus, tending to other customers needs, all at the same time. I can't say enough about the wonderful service at Public Storage. We worked with Terry, who helped us with our need to move from a 5x10 to a 10x10. Being disabled, it was important that we were able to have the new unit close to the original one. She was able to keep us on the same floor, just around the corner from our original storage unit. It made all the difference in transferring our things from the 5x10 to the 10x10 all in the same morning. Thank you Terry!! We really appreciate your kindness and service.

This location is excellent. Despite the size of the complex, the staff is fast, friendly, and efficient. Brandi helped me with a problem with my lock in a matter of minutes. Again, great location great staff!!!!

We've had our unit since we got evicted in August and of the workers I've had to deal with, Shelly was the one who stood out the most. She was personable, kind and very helpful. These days its getting hard to find employees like her that treat you with dignity and respect. The place is always clean and its really easy to get your questions answered in a timely fashion.

Terry has always been so helpful and super sweet and positive all the time! She goes out of her way to help you out and feel comfortable!
