We weren't treated very good by the Manager (Waymon) I think, after our unit was broken into and ransacked. After we moved some things out we downsized to a smaller unit. Met Dora (Manager) in the hall during the move and she was incredible. First rate customer service. Very sympathetic and helpful. The only bright spot at the location!

I received a call that my storage unit was broken into and have been trying to get ahold of someone all day to get into and only have spoken to a rude girl over the phone that hung up on min my face. About to file a law suit with these crooks
What does it take to get a live person at this place!? I went by yesterday, no one. Used the virtual assistant there, useless, no one answered. I tried it twice!
I called the number on the door, says to leave a message.

Wayman was so very helpful. My debit card expired this month and they sent me a notice to update it, which I did right away. Despite getting a message on their site that my payment method had been updated, it wasn’t. They charged me a late fee and a lien fee but Wayman was able to help me figure out how to get the information updated (had to enter it as though it was a new card when all that changed was the expiration date!) and processed a credit for me. Thank you so much!!!
On moving out of our unit, Wayman helped us resolve a payment issue. He made sure he did everything on his end, to ensure that we received a refund.

I’ve been struggling with getting customer service for my lock cut for the past 4 months. I’ve been told to go to the location on dairy ashford but there is never anyone there. The first time I manage to find someone behind the desk (wayman) he was very unhelpful and told me to go back to my original location where there is no live customer service. The lady dora was extremely helpful and was even able to get me a discount on my rate.

BEWARE!!! Public storage only does month to month rentals. After ONLY 3 months they will increase your rent by 35%! They have the right to increase your rent as much or as often as they wish with just 30 days notice according to their rental agreement. You can request a rental discount which will ultimately waist your time as it gets denied and they will continuously repeat their right to increase your rent at any time. We have been renting at this facility now for just over 6 months and they have been increasing my rent every 3 months. I’ve attached photos of how little they care about customer service and will just continue to increase rent as they see fit.

Unusual first experience setting up - I was offered a higher rate over the phone than online. Obviously, I decided to go with setting up online.
After that, I arrive at the facility and my access was disabled for some reason. Virtual assistance directed me to another facility close by which was going to be a waste of time.
Fortunately, we met with Dora who was extremely helpful with setting up our access, locating our unit, and ensuring we were properly set up in the system by coordinating with the online support team. She took the initiative to get us all sorted and we left very satisfied knowing we were in good hands.
Top marks to Dora for customer experience and service onsite.

Beware- “power went out” and our storage unit was broke into. Our lock was cut and our valuables were taken and the unit was completely ransacked. We paid for a 3rd level inside unit and cameras are everywhere, but no footage because “power was out”, so they say. I would NOT leave anything valuable here! Made a police report. Make sure you get the insurance if you use these people. They don’t seem to care at all and discouraged making a police report. They don’t stand behind any type of security to protect your valuables.

Rented for about a year. Excellent climate control, safety controls and mobile app worked well. Smooth move-in and move-out. Never busy when I went. Only thing that would be better is longer open hours on the weekend.
