Greater Uptown Storage Units Near the 610 Loop, I-69 in Houston
This Public Storage is located in the Greater Uptown neighborhood on the west side of Houston. Situated at the corner of Westheimer Road and Chimney Rock Road, this is an all-indoor facility, offering different sizes of climate-controlled storage units accessed from interior hallways.
Businesses in Uptown Houston can free up a bit more space by storing extra office equipment and furniture in a 10x10 unit at this location. Or if a big day of shopping at the Galleria netted more items than the home can fit, a 5x5 unit is a great place to store household goodies, seasonal items, decorations and more.
Just a quick drive off of Interstate 610 and Interstate 69, and not too far from Interstate 10 or Beltway 8, it's a great location with easy access from any direction, including the Mid-West, Gulfton, Sharpstown, River Oaks or Woodlake/Briar Meadow communities.

I would be careful putting your trust in this Public Storage location because about two weeks ago I got a call from them saying that there was a "break in" and that my storage was broken into. First, some things to note, The lady called me in a calm tone, as if it was completely normal to have your storage be broken into. When I came in to see it all my stuff was out of the storage and I was so scared that my valuables were stolen. However, I noticed nothing was actually stolen and the locks weren't even broken, as if it was just opened, and I started looking around the other storage spaces and nothing was broken or even outside of the units, only mine was broken into. This is suspicious because the day I canceled my insurance is when this "break-in" happened. I had also asked some people I saw there if their stuff was broken into and if they got a call saying that there was a break-in, and none of them got a call, they didn't even know what I was talking about. I'm not going to say they staged a break-in but the facts are just not adding up and this just seems weird
Any company would have a great addition to their team with Ericka. She was very welcoming and helpful. Any information i needed was given and unit space at facility was everything i wanted.

I had the best customer service experience with Erica. She was pleasant and so thorough in explaining all the features and benefits and helped me with my move-out and move-in details. I was not aware of the specials and she helped me to save money!! The facility was clean, neat and secure which is very important to me.
Tayla, Erica's co-worker assisted in processing all my storage related needs as well. It's not often you find individuals who enjoy what they do in terms of public service. I highly recommend this location! I also wanted to send a shout out to Cici who help to "quarterback" my excellent customer service!

Cici is an absolute delight! I've worked with her several times and have rented with her in the past and since moving back into the city, I trust her customer service and that my unit will be taken care of! She is an amazing Property Manager and manages this huge high-scale property by herself and trains staff as well! Please be patient with her as she is the sole person running this storage facility! There are several other public storage facilities near me and I trust this location because she is there. This is my 3rd time renting at this storage space its very affordable and the space is very clean, when you walk inside the service area, it doesn't smell like a storage facility it is very inviting. Highly recommend!

Day 1 - nothing worked as all the elevators broken , so had to not take the unit I was going to rent , but nothing worked , and district manger told me id owe nothing and refund, - yet month later or more and get debt collection - I OWE 30 $ collection when shouldnt owe a drop but credited ?? Lets see if fixed this 2nd time ? that id told not owe and be credited money not owe why and dont want collection mail and worrys

42 storage units broken into in a two day span weeks ago. Still have main gates open! Do not rent here.
I've had a storage unit here for a little over three years. My monthly fee started at $54 and has steadily been raised to $110 for their smallest unit. That was annoying, but it's just how these companies work. What makes me upset is that my unit was broken into three times with absolutely no compensation or attempt to make their site more secure. They have regular break-ins, and because their clients store everything at their own risk, they have no incentive to actually fix the problems. In the last break in, a lot of my personal papers and photos were scattered throughout the hallway.
Willie provided excellent customer service. He was professional and expediant. He was also very transparent. I felt right at home with the service.
He adjusted to the circumstances we were in and made the process very smooth.
The only thing that is well secured here are the bathrooms because they keep those locked up well. As for the rest of the property, not so much. A crew busted in and cracked open a ton of units and robbed me of thousands in property. They failed to let me know my unit lock hub was replaced so I can come lock it. Even better, they replaced the hub that uses a lock that only they sell. That's great....except I found out after hours and they have zero customer support after close of business. Seriously, don't bother calling them. So my unit was left unlocked as the hub had no pad lock mount for a personal lock. Mine unit specifically. The other units got proper hubs and could get locked.
If there was an ability to give negative stars, I would. I pay a lot of money for the unit and they definitely don't merit half of what they charge.
Joy was so helpful when I went to store 5615. My storage was easily accessible and she greeted me with a smile even with all of my questions. Please ask for Joy for any of your storage needs.

In my case moving house quickly has been a challenge. These ladies, plus your district manager Francisco have made life so much better. Each of the three deserve a pat on the back and maybe a raise. They not only sell storage but they understand the meaning of offering service.

A price reduction is need and you should offer senior citizens discounts. It's pricy for monthly rates. This should be taken into immediate consideration (we are struggling).
