Maria was extremely helpful when I first came to check out units 6 months ago, and when calling today to inquire about rates of my current unit with them, George was able to save me money by going the extra mile to check on a few things to see if I’d be eligible for a discount. I was! Thank you so much!

I noticed my storage unit had a robbery on November 30,2023 and notified the front office the same day. Sadly as of January 12, 2024 it is still not repaired. Obviously I am moving out in a few days. It appears the robbers cut the cheap chicken wire in the ceiling. No calls, emails or texts from public storage regarding the situation. Very bad customer service in my eyes.

rent constantly raised. they entice you with a "low rate" and now my rent is 180 a month for a small unit. if i were in town i would move to another unit, but my things are stuck there until i move back to houston. i would highly recomend morning star on i-10, as you can lock in your rate and arent robbed like you are here

Needed a place to store my things for a couple of months and stopped at Public Storage. Charmaine was very helpful. She went over the different size units with me while making sure I had enough space to store my belongings. She had “THE BEST”customer service! Absolutely love the detail she provided that helped me make the best decision for what I needed. So grateful I stopped here.

Never enough carts. I don’t understand why they don’t have more. Almost every time I’ve come they are all in use. No complaints otherwise.

I stopped in yesterday to check the rates and how that facility was It appeared to be fine very clean. I’m a little concerned as far as the units is concerned it was a little warm in there but it’s very convenient to where I live and the desk agent yesterday I am so sorry I didn’t get her name but she was a wonderful young black lady. She was very helpful today. I had George he was wonderful very helpful very Knowledgeable of his job answered all my questions he was wonderful, very outstanding gentleman

Nobody is ever at the front office. I’ve gone three time including today, and not a single person can be found and the front office is always locked DURING BUSINESS HOURS. My move in date is today and the gate code is not working. Seems like these people just don’t give a damn.

Anytime someone thinks of having to move in or move out it's always a frown knowing the extensive work that you are about to endure but Latyra from the Public Storage (facility manager) 1165 N Loop West location put a smile on my face as she made the process quick, easy, and comfortable. She explained all necessary dos and don't; expectations of the facility. She had great customer service and the process was smooth. I told her what I was looking for and she accommodated exactly that no extras or up sales were attempted. She also told me about the Public Storage app and all its perks. One thing I enjoyed most about the app is that you can go in and out of the facility smoothly as you can gain access with a touch of a button on your smartphone. I would highly recommend anyone to try out this location!

I went in to reserve 2 units, 1 10x20 & 1 10x30, early December 2022 for my Jan 9, 2023 move in. I was told I had to rent them then, so not happy about having to pay for an extra month without using it. I was ask about renter insurance, and told George I had my own through State Farm. He said he had to put it on the first month, corporate rules, but that it would come off after that. I'm still paying for that extra charge, it never came off. 1 week before our move in we went to the storage rooms to move in a few items we didn't want the movers to handle. Much to my surprise one if the units I had rented had a strange lock on it. I went to the office, George was not there but a lady assisted me. George had released my storage room since I had never moved anything into it. I explained to the girl my move in date was 1 week away and he knew that from when I rented it. So after about 30-40 min it was resolved. On move in day the movers trucks and i pull into the property and they look at the units and they are not sure it will all fit in those two units. I go to the office, it is locked. I knock, no answer, and I'm panicking. I come back after a shirt time and its still locked. I can see George inside but he will not acknowledge me or cone to the door. I not only panicking but getting upset. The movers keep moving things in. I go back a little later and the door us unlocked, George sitting inside and I tell him the situation and ask why he couldn't help me. He said it was illegal for me to interrupt his lunchtime, he us untitled to his time off. I ask why he didn't put a sign in the window to at least let everyone know when he'll be back. He said corporate wont allow him to put up a sign. Pretty ridiculous rule. What didn't fit in the storage rooms went home with me on my truck. I will definitely not recommend that location. On the other hand I have another room at the 290 and Eldridhe location and the lady there couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Now after all if that I get a nice card in the mail the rooms I'm renting at the 610 and Ella location are going up considerably, $132 a month on just one of my two. That's a crazy amount to add to someone's bills in this economy. I dont know about the second unit yet, I have not received a card on it. My 290 room has gone up $50. That's not right going up so much on your current clientele. Howard.

My unit was broken into today 03/07/2023. Ironically. the only cameras are at the elevator and gate. Not the aisle. I was told I shouldn’t have that type of lock, granted the lock was provided to me by public storage, upon ordering the unit online. I have 2 units and will be cleaning out my stuff this weekend! The second photo is what the lock looked they after they “ cut the metal lock”

Ms. Maria and Charmain were extremely helpful in our decision for the best deal online. We were also able to check the unit before we finalized our contract. They we both very informative and understandable of our needs. Highly recommend this location. This is our 2nd great experience here.

Awesome clean storage location. Easy online to set up for new customer. Moved in today with no worries. Unit was perfect. Clean and ready with lock. Overall experience 100% happy. The location is absolutely the best easy access to the highway in a safe area would highly recommend.

Great service from George the Manager. Clearly explained everything, saw the hint ahead of finalizing, everything clean and efficient. The Public Storage app works well opening Main gate and authorizing elevator access - saves hassle of trying to remember the 6 digit access code.

I am writing again to say that I DO NOT RECOMMEND this store. They close at six, so if you work or need something after that, you CAN'T get it. I mean, they close the GATES and everything. I recommend public storage from the weistainer. They close at 9 pm, so much more flexible for a storage

Maintenance was done to the building and the locks and all the units were changed, I was not notified of this. When I had an emergency and I needed to get into my storage unit, I called ahead, made sure that someone would have the replacement keys available, got to the storage unit, no one was there. Doors were locked. Call the number, went to voicemail. Called the district manager. All he said was sorry I couldn’t do more to help, but it is what it is. Offered me a $40 credit on a unit I pay $240 a month for and said that was “the best he could do”… If you’re looking for a place where you’ll actually have access to your items, good communication, and on site support…look elsewhere.

This place is fantastic, very clean and orderly. The manager (Erin) is the absolute best. She is very knowledgeable and can solve most issues. She goes above and beyond for her customers.

First and foremost I was there before 6:00 and the manager of that property saw us when were taking off the loveseat , the courtesy he should have told us that we wasn't going to be able to go back upstairs, then it wouldn't have showed up that I still there after closing time, so on that note I wasn't trying to go past the time.

The storage facility is always clean and I've never had any issues with the gate not working. George in the office is amazing! He always goes above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of. Super nice fella! The one thing I will say is that often times the carts are being used so if you have a large load you either have to come back, wait, or carry your stuff up bc you can't get into any other building than the one your until is in so going to get a cart from the other building is not an option. Other than that I've been more than happy storing my stuff at this facility.

I’ve been renting out of this storage for a couple of years. However, GEORGE the manager was no help when asking about a balance that was past due from transferring units. Later that day George and trainee in tow came through to check units and could clearly see I was reorganizing my unit and had some oversized boxes in the hall on one side that clothes piled on top. Instead of him going around he decides to push through and almost knocks all my clothes over. Instead of saying I’m sorry he keeps going as if he cleaning up but hasn’t picked up no trash that was still there when I left. I rather deal with someone else other than George hmmm the supposed to manager!
