Houston Self Storage On I-10 Near 610 Loop
This Houston Public Storage, located on the south side of Interstate 10 just west of the junction with Loop 610, offers cheap self storage units in the area near the Uptown and Spring Branch communities.
This location offers a large selection of indoor, climate-controlled storage units, as well as a number of outdoor drive-up storage units.
All storage units at this facility – open 7 days a week – are in an area featuring keypad code access.
Roughly 10 miles west of Downtown Houston, this location is a great spot to store seasonal items or recreational gear in a 5x5 unit, while businesses along Memorial Drive or Hempstead Road can use a 10x10 unit to clear out some much needed space around the office, by storing boxes and supplies nearby.
Local families who live near the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, or in the surrounding communities, including Hillshire Village, Hedwig Village, Hunters Creek Village or Spring Valley Village, can fit everything in a 10x30 unit during a move or remodel for easy access.

This location is conveniently located. I like that it’s not overwhelmingly big, and that it is easy to get in and out of. The lady at the front desk is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and in great condition. I’m extremely satisfied with both my storage unit and the great experience so far!

When the Mgr is off, there's hardly ever anyone on the property to assist with anything... very aggravating..

Facilities were clean, prices were low. I will update with dimensions and prices as soon as there is an increase.
Gates are open during working hours. The office is locked when the staff is not in, but they seem to not be gone for long.
NOTE:
The Public Storage App is what opens the gate and elevator.
Only ONE person can be signed into the app using the primary email. If you add a second email for another person in your unit, you wont be able to sign in with it.

This facility is supposed to have access from 6am to 9pm. The actual office hours are supposed to be 9:30am - 6pm. THIS IS A LIE. Electricity was out for multiple days in a row. The office staff did not show up at all on a Tuesday. There are no numbers to call to quickly remedy this either. Will be moving facilities soon.

My Review is based solely on the price for this location. I leased a drive up unit 10x15 for 17 months, never had any problems except for the price increase of $35 literally 4 months into our lease . I just terminated my lease due to another notice of our lease increasing another $65! That’s an $90 increase in just 17 months of paying for the unit on a monthly auto debit with out ever missing a payment or having a late payment.

This Public Storage facility is conveniently located near the intersection of I-10 and the 610 Loop in Houston. The facility is very clean and reliably temperature-controlled. The staff is very friendly, especially Al the manager. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the facility and went the extra mile to identify appropriate storage units for my numerous unique and unwieldy items. He's also very enjoyable conversationalist :) Additionally, he's kind enough to make personal phone call reminders to those who are about to incur late fees! I highly recommend this Public Storage location.

This is a perfect place for storage as it is 2 blocks from my house. Second, the staff is superb starting with manager,Al. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest in his assessment of my needs. He is also a really good guy. The staff is is courteous and and willing to help. The building is always very clean and well lighted. I’ve had every size unit, and they worked well when I needed them.
