Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2305 South Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX

Johna was amazing help when I got locked out of my 4 units. Patient and resourceful. Can not say enough good things about my experience.

INFESTED WITH ROACHES. I had a 5x5 unit in climate controlled, had been out of state since I had last checked on things in May of this year. I check on the unit every 4/5 months, before May I hadn’t been out since January. In May there were no vermin concerns everything looked good, I put new moisture collectors in the unit and bins and more peppermint oil. The unit only had 5 gray sealed tubs and 2 suitcases and a few other items. But nothing like kitchen ware that would have remittances of food or oil, it was all books, decor, clothes and shoes. ROACHES got inside the gray storage bins and they ate books, and there were eggs laid on nearly everything inside the unit. The office women was in the office while I was in the unit, my boyfriend drove by her multiple times while she sent my calls to voicemail.

Johna and Diana were very helpful..They are very professional. AWESOME!!

Dora is very helpful and kind. She answered all my questions and even walked with me to the unit to test the new key. But caution, if you go or call on the days when Johonna Myers is working it is not the same. Johonna was horrible to me on the phone when I called to ask questions about the new doors. I had left voice messages, and she never called back and when I did talk with her it was unacceptable how she spoke to me, a client that has units at this location for years. So I recommend always asking for Dora!

Dora great cs thank you because of you, everything is great over here I hate the person that’s here every day. She has a bad attitude. She never wants to help. She’s always thinking her title is not going to be dispensable, but I guarantee you I’m gonna recommend you to stay here.

I feel targeted!! My storage was broken into a few mths ago The district manager along with the woman who work at the front made it seem as though me & my kids had something to do with the break in Somehow the security cameras only showed us leaving the storage the night before the break in & us coming back the next morning But nobody saw the big duffle bag stolen from my son as well as at least 4 pairs of Nike shoes stolen from my daughter & son I went to the storage yesterday to get some things & discovered my unit has been broken into again This time they stole my mother’s suitcase It was filled with my high heel shoes as well as my birth certificate as well as my kids There was also paperwork from social security for my daughter and youngest son I really feel as though either the woman at the front and her “boyfriend” has something to do with it Call it defamation But I’m calling it how I see it They are the only ones there after hrs There are security cameras focused on all points of the storage Supposedly there are security cameras inside the storage where you have to put your code in But they see what they want to see It’s left out who’s actually responsible for the break ins It’s bad enough my storage fee has went up from $39 to $48 for a 5’5” unit I’m not paying next month and I’m vacating my unit I’m trying to start my life over and these b@$tards are stealing from me and nothing is being done about it with them or HPD I’m sure they won’t lose no sleep But they have lost a costumer I feel bad for anyone who rents out my unit

Dora was so pleasure and patient explain with us about the details how to get to our storage.

Dora on her own call me when she spotted the lock was missing off my unit. I when over and found when i opened the unit the lock was inside. Dora could not have been more helpful and I feel better knowing someone like Dora is looking out for me. This a night and day difference next to the last person she acted like she didn't care if i was there or on the moon. I hope Dora will be/is the person in charge from now on. The customer service with Dora was excellent. Being a senior citizen many are not patient. She excelled with patience in talking me into how to complete the documents This lady went above and beyond to answer questions and assist anyway. A special thanks to her for helping those who are not tech savvy!

Dora was a pleasure, she was all the way in the back in the units when I arrived. She walked all the way to the front in this summer Texas Heat to assist me in the office just to have to walk all the way back to the units to finish what she was working on. She didn’t give me an attitude or anything but was happy to assist!

I got a letter that my key had been changed, I waited a few months to go by, the first time I tried to pick up the new key the girl immediately told me "they didn't do that" and wouldn't even turn around to look at the keys. I checked my unit and sure enough my key didn't work and rather than argue with the lady I just left. I went back today to try to figure out how to get into my unit and a different lady Dora was at the desk and absolutely lovely. She took me seriously and looked and "surprise" my key was there all along. Dora is awesome. The other lady not so much. Dora was super sweet and very helpful.

I've been there for a long time now, and have to say the staff in the past, has never been very friendly or seen around the property. Until recently when i met someone new to the property, Dora. Who was there walking the property and she stopped by my unit and was very friendly and asked if there was anything she could do. She helped me with my rent. It is the first time I have ever seen someone that worked there out on the property and cleaning or taking care of the property itself.

Dora was so helpful got me a clear balance she was a great help thank you

I came in on Sunday June 23 and the desk personnel lady. Dora was such a pleasure , very professional, kind and so helpful to me and the other customer before me. It be great to keep her at this location. She’s a hard worker with great customer service.

It was better when it was self storage. Public storage came in and ruined everything. Changing due dates without telling us. Charged me 60 dollars for a late fee due to them changing my due date I knew nothing about. Calling the store and them telling me my payment was still due on the 13th. Public storage u should have stayed away.

The manager at this storage place, she's not friendly at all and never answer the phone it's ridiculous. Plus some.of my items are stolen after they changed the doors and did not even inform me that that they changed my storage doors. My stuff are missing and I have been trying to reach them but nobody ever answers the damn phone. I think its better you find another job if you don't like you job. It's upsetting having to deal with this.

Very awkward experience. Made a reservation online, went into the store to complete the transaction and was told I need to cancel my reservation and start a new one and pay more!!! Employee was not helpful and neither was the customer service phone line. Rented somewhere else. Very unfortunate.

Don't waste your time they act like they own it when they only manage it and can't even do that. The price and facilities compared to the U-Haul next door is not realistic and all the extra fees and requirements i thought we're normal..i cancelled my rental and moved to U-Haul they were super nice gave me and my friends bottle water had a clean bathroom no extra fees or forced insurance just your rent. the manager even gave me a free lock

Awesome service. I was in a rush and had to switch my unit really quickly and everything went smoothly. Johne was amazing.

I arrived at the facility at 2pm only to find a typed notice on the front door stating the resident property manager was out to lunch and would not return until 3:30pm. When I gained access to the property, a golf cart belonging to the facility was parked directly in front of my unit. After trying to contact customer service via the number on the door unsuccessfully, I knocked on the window behind the office door. A man appeared from behind the blinds and began to shout profanities about knocking on the window. A female employee then came onto the property and explained she takes 1.5hr lunch breaks daily, and to not knock on the window for any reason. Her attitude was poor and she did not offer an apology for blocking the unit. She did proceed to move the golf cart at a dangerous speed, refused to give her name, and returned through the door in which she emerged (not the office). Very poor customer service from the property manager and offensive treatment from her tenant.

Extremely overpriced, but management has been cool. Never had any issues.

Terrible customer service. There are many storage units with regular squared locks yet I was told I HAVE TO HAVE A ROUND LOCK BECAUSE IT'S A REQUIREMENT. I tried to turn in the lock since I am purchasing my own but the "manager " wouldn't accept the lock back. I also asked for a different unit because it was extremely hard to open it that I even hurt my hand. He didn't want to give me a new unit and said to just "push", on it. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
