This location is so awesome!! The reason is because of the Manager CICI! I always forgot to pay my bill and she would gently call every month to remind me and was always very helpful answering ALL of my questions.
She was so good I got another unit!! Definitely recommend working with CiCi she is the goat and will be like your best friend!

Cici was kind and very prompt with answering my questions and providing awesome customer service. I've been at that location for more than 10 years & it has not disappointed other than the rate increases, that happen everywhere, from what i've seen.
I needed to rent a storage space and went into this location. Cici was very polite, friendly and overall willing to help with making sure I got the right size space for my needs and making my rental process as smooth and easy as possible. The property was clean and so was the restroom. I would definitely recommend this location 10 out of 10.

Today is 9/14/24. We finally moved out because this company is increasing our rent to $184 a month starting next month.
Since May of 2019 when our rent started at $53 a month, we have endured one payment increase after another. Overall, that's a 347% increase over 5 years.
Plus, the place smells like urine.
We do not want to do business with this company anymore. They simply don't care.
I wish we had moved out sooner.

After having a bad experience from the public storage at the 2840 location yesterday. Wasn’t able to get in my storage and having to extend my uhaul another day and get back over there today and still no access. I went to the one on 2850 and meet an awesome person there name CiCi. Listen I highly recommend this public storage she had so much great customer service and went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care off and to get my refund from the other facility. Cici thank you so much and hope that District Manager position comes open for you because you truly deserve it.

Relocated from Stl needed storage for a few weeks until my apartment is ready. The manager is amazing! She was very helpful and made sure that I was happy and satisfied. She answered every single question with a smile. I trust that she will watch over my things and she will keep the property clean and secured at all times. She made me feel at home and started giving suggestions and tips when she found out I was relocating. There was one thing that I messed up on my behalf because I didn’t read but she went out of her way to help me get the issue corrected. She made sure I was happy and satisfied. She was so happy, I told her I needed to come work with them lol. I love great customer care! 5 stars!

Oftentimes you find people who don’t have any concerns about your situation, Valerie isn’t one of those people. She is truly an Earth Angel. She did not only help by improving the outcome of my situation. Wanted to cancel my month and staff told me that would get the pro rate and refund me. They lied and I never got my refund, moved out the first and they wouldn't even give me my month back. Kept telling me they would escalate it to customer service and never received a phone call or email about it, was never taken care of. Very shady place riddled with homeless people, dont recommend and they will scam you out of your money.

All of the staff are extremely nice! Yolanda even helped my family out in the dead of night when she did not have to. 10/10 service
So, they are raising the rates for my unit. Well I guess, since you will need to house up all the homeless people that has somehow made their home in your facility. I do not go often; yet every time, I’ve seen people that does not belong there. Hence on this past Saturday, a guy was there doing drug. He was picking up his paraphernalia. I have to always look both way, while walking to my unit. So Thank you for the hike in rate.

To: The owners of Public Storage. First, I been a good customer since 2005. I have never been late with a payment. I am disappointed that my storage bill keeps going up. My bill is already too high. It just went up from $49 to $63. I was going to pay $63 today before midnight Jan.7th. But I was charged a late charge today of $20. Which made my bill $83. Online it says: "A late fee will go into effect seven days after your missed payments." So, I thought I had until Jan. 7th before midnight. The worse customer service I have ever witnessed in my life. Horrible. The front desk person supposedly manager , his mane is Joshua. He is rude , unprofessional and not willing to assist at all. Not sure why he is working there !

I've been with them for years and for the smallest unit they are charging me close to 100$ and its upsetting. I will be taking my things out of there soon. There are so many other storage places that are more affordable and the prices stays the same.

Manager Mr. Willie Gardner Is the rudest manager I have ever encountered. I tried to handle a situation with him during the week About a storage increase And I got talked to like I was a Child. I am 59 years old. I did not Appreciate that at all. If I could give 0 stars I would he definitely needs a reality check or he needs to be demoted to another position where he is not dealing with the public. My storage is located on rogerdale between westheimer and Richmond. Please bring back old manager or one that knows how to deal with the public.

First off, I want to start in saying that the new manager, Mr. Willie has been for the most part the most amazing manager this location has received. He is actually here to serve the people and the way he could help out. Location was run down with bad management before he arrived and now he’s bringing it back up. I had a problem that he solve for me since December and got me moving forward.

Terrible. Could never easily get through facility. Now that it is time to end my reservation I am being sent through every possible loop and am still unable to find the information necessary to cancel my reservation before they automatically charge me for another month, when I have only used the unit for 11 days. No one is available to help so it is a scam designed to steal money we never offered.
After moving out they still charged me for a new month. This place is disgusting, the staff is unprofessional and unhelpful, and clearly corrupt given that I didn’t have a unit for more than 10 days but have been charged for 2 months despite having moved out before the 2nd month even began.

I called the 1800 number for Public Storage, the first customer service rep was very attentive and appeased my concerns with only needing a storage unit for less than a week. She was able to find me a unit not that far from me in Houston Texas for a special of basically $30.00 total plus the lock. Which that was a blessing since seeing Cubesmart wanted to charge me. $178.00 for the same five days but a smaller unit.
Upon arrival at the location on 2850 Rogerdale Rd Houston, TX 77042. The customer service rep at the desk, I believe his name is Michael but he is an older white male nevertheless. He took me to the unit and went through everything. He stated he would refund the purchase of the lock since it wasn't going to be for the entire month usage. That was kind and generous of him to offer that service to me.
I was able to move my belongings into storage unit immediately.
On Tuesday, my moving company left behind a mirrored jewelry stand in the hallway of where my storage was located. Ms Ophelia tracked it down and put it back into the storage unit location until the movers were able to retrieve it. Which they were able to do that today. Because I closed it out on yesterday. Ms. Ophelia opened the gate let them into the door and they were able to deliver it to my home.
This is what I call outstanding service from the beginning to the end as of today.
If you are in need of Storage Units please use Public Storage any location. I truly believe they invest in their employees daily which allows them to give outstanding service to the consumer.
I will never forget this company and will always recommend and use them in the near future if needed.

Michael at the Rogerdale location is amazing. He has went above and beyond to help me. I rented a storage unit online but when I got to the unit it wasn’t big enough. Michael helped me pick another one and actually saved me money. I broke the key in the lock and he helped with that as well. He’s really great at his job.
I love my little storage, even though it's on 5th floor here is the view. Very secure not to busy.
So I went to the location 20 4631 a young lady name Ofelia asking American young lady she was so she helped and so many ways stayed after the time that the place closed make sure that my security code worked as she made sure that I was completely satisfied before she close everything up and that’s one of the biggest things that is hard to find especially after Covid and everything that we’ve been going to in the human race thank you public storage my experience was awesome I recommend this for all friends
